Located on one of the Hill Country's most scenic roads for cycling and walking is the brand new Jacquelyn's Retreat. This is the 4th of 4 of Amelia's Casitas and comes with so much to offer! This Casita has 1 bedroom 1 bath (studio style) with a spacious fully stocked bathroom. We also provide a coffee bar set up ready to enjoy on the house. This casita comes OVERSTOCKED with fresh towels/toiletries and water for our guest. We provide a 42" smart TV that is pre-loaded with Netflix and other apps, just login and enjoy. Jacquelyns retreat has a mini kitchenette which includes a microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven with a griddle on top and a coffee pot. LETS TALK VIEWS! There are two charcoal bbq grills and a large fire pit (ready to go) for our guest to enjoy their favorite bottle of wine under the hill country stars. Our guests can enjoy country living only 5 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg! Here at Amelia's Casitas we are pet friendly upon approval, but we do require a additional $30 fee for our maids to completely DEEP clean and deodorize everything. We also require all pets to be on a leash and the pet owner must clean up any and all waste. If at anytime our guest have questions or need recommendations feel free to email or text Leo.
Here are some of our house rules we expect all guest to follow.

~First and for most we hope you will respect our home as if it were your own~

~please leave all dirty towels in the shower so our maids can have easy access~

~do not worry about making up slept in beds, its a kind gesture but our maids will remove everything to wash~

~after 10pm we ask that loud music be kept to a minimum, be considerate of our neighboring casitas~

~we ask that our guest to please wash any dirty dishes and leave them in the drying rack~

~There are 2 bbq grills that are first come first serve so please clean up after you are done so that our other guest can also enjoy it~

~smoking is ok OUTSIDE, please do not smoke inside the casita. We have provided sand buckets for cigarette butts~

Lots and lots of deer

Weekend getaway, great shopping. Quiet and relaxing. Saw about 40 deer from the back of the cabin up to within a quarter of a mile.

Great Location out of town

We love staying here, it is out in the country away from all the noise of town. The wildlife out here is amazing. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night time and visiting. We will be back next year for our annual trip to Fredericksburg.

Just perfect location for peace n quiet

Just as it says on the listing, it's a great casita. It does have all of what you need to enjoy your stay. Bed was very comfy, lots of hot water and great water pressure for the shower. Surrounded by nature , lovely to have to brake for deer and wild turkeys crossing the road. Front porch was 75° at 7am, perfect for coffee outside to watch the sunrise . We went to escape the city heat and we were not disappointed

Annual NYE TRIP

Never disappoints! I have stayed here multiple times over the last couple of years. Even a me vacation for a week. It is definitely my happy place. Sit on the porch and watch the deer come up. Take walks, enjoy the peace and quiet. Meet the neighbors and have a blast around the fire pit. I have met people that I still keep in touch with. I call it HOME!!

Easy booking. Clean property. Looked like a fairly new property. Had a community fire and bar-b-q pit. Not too far out, about an 8 minute drive to town

When I reserved property I never received any check in directions. I messaged owner Tuesday prior to my Friday arrival requesting instructions. NO REPLY I messaged again At 5:30 am on the day of my arrival requesting instructions. NO REPLY. So I drove 4 hours hoping I had a room and didn’t get scammed. Finally got an automated message around 2pm that day with instructions. A simple REPLY on Tuesday stating you will receive a message on day of check in would have worked. But got nothing

This was a great little place to stay with a spouse/ partner. Just enough room and AC was amazing!

This was in a great spot not too far from town and close enough for all the stuff to do. It was clean and the AC worked great! Would recommend to anyone and would love to stay here again!

Quiet & Peaceful

Although a little off the beaten path, the stay was excellent. You cannot beat the accommodations for the price. The deer literally would graze right by the cabin. We will definitely stay again if we travel back to the area. Did I mention it was peaceful and quiet?

Great Cozy Cabin

This cabin was the perfect place to celebrate Valentine's day weekend. It was very quaint and cozy and had everything you would need. The bed was super comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was very roomy and had great lighting. The amenities outside were wonderful with a fire pit and chairs around it to socialize with other guests. The chairs on the porch were also a nice touch. We will definitely consider this cottage next time we visit Fredricksburg

It was very reasonably priced unlike alot of other places. Why stay at a motel if you can get a quaint little private place for the same price if not cheaper. Just right outside of town but feels like your in the country. Clean and cozy Casita. Enjoyed the fire pit while hanging out with other out of towners.

Serene location

Excellent location; perfect for what I was looking for. I got the email with the confirmation, then the address, but I did not get the access information until time to check in. I can understand the security issues, but at least tell the customer the access information will be provided at time of check in..
