The Pelican is a charming 3 bedroom 2 bath waterfront home that will sleep 7 people. It is the sister property to VRBO# 1106070 "The Crab Shack". The open floor plan allows for tons of sunlight. It has been newly painted and decorated in a fun coastal beach theme. The master has a king size bed, private bath with large walk in shower and a walk in closet. The kids room has 2 twin (trundle beds). The 3rd bedroom with adjacent bath has a king size bed, a twin trundle bed and a walk in closet. There are 4 new flat screen tvs and free high speed internet.
The white kitchen is clean, modern and fully stocked with all the dishes and cookware that you will need. There are basic pantry items including coffee provided.
We also provide paper products and laundry soap to get you started There is a gas grill for your use.
The laundry area has a new washer and dryer for all those wet beach towels
There is a beautiful sun room with a wall of large glass sliders that allow the sunroom to be opened to the screened lanai. Enjoy your coffee watching the morning news on TV or breakfast on the screened lanai with a dining table and plenty of cozy seating. The lanai overlooks the canal, pool and huge travertine patio and play area. The backyard is fenced on 3 sides, plus it has a secure completely fenced safe pet area. There is a floating dock and some fishing poles for your use. You can cruise the canals or grass flats in the 2 kayaks that are provided. We have bikes for a ride around the quiet neighborhood or a quick trip to Public's grocery. The Pelican Place is located on a low traffic quiet street. The new large salt water pool has a huge sun shelf with a shade umbrella for lounging and kids play. Beach chairs and pool towels are provided. Heating the pool is optional. Beautiful lighting at night creates a tropical resort experience around the pool.
Free use of the pontoon boat for your entire stay. 70 horse motor, GPS, fish finder, depth meter. Boat US included if you break down or need assistance. You MUST have boating experience to use the boat.
Guests are required to purchase a $89.00 accidental damage protection policy that provides $3000.00 of protection of accidental damage to the house and boat. Our properties book up early so don't wait if this is the place you desire for your vacation.
All exterior doors and the dock are protected with security cameras.

An absolutely beautiful home! Communication prior to the stay was above and beyond. Being a landscaper I am in awe of the beauty around the home both front and back. The pontoon was a plus and we used it almost every day! The house was well-equipped. Being right on the water felt felt like a true tropical vacation and much needed. I would recommend this home if you want a fantastic get away! .

Beautiful Property

The house was nicely decorated and exceptionally clean. We loved hanging out by the pool surrounded by the beautiful landscape. The kitchen is fully stocked and attention is paid to every detail, including comfy beds. Kim & Brenda are great hosts and very responsive. We didn't get to use the boat much due to the weather but we hope to return again in the future.

Summer Family Get Away

Very quiet neighborhood with close proximity to restaurants, shopping and things to see. The pool and outdoor area was great for the kids and adults to leisurely sit around and enjoy the day together.

Great time at a great property!

We had a wonderful vacation, Kim and Brenda were great hosts and the property was excellent. Very clean, handy and the house had all the comforts of home. We highly recommend vacationing there, we will certainly return.

Pelican House was very inviting & clean. Owners were fabulous, ensured we had everything we needed.

Great family vacations

The property was a great place for my family to get away before starting the new school year. We enjoyed taking the boat to the barrier islands for some fishing and walking the shore line looking for sea shell or just relaxing by the pool. We'd recommend it to our friends and would stay again.

Great vacation

Beautiful home and pool. We loved it! We enjoyed the boat trip to the sand bar, used our paddle boards in the canal, and caught mangrove snapper off the dock. The owners are accommodating as well.

Perfect Family Getaway

The house was clean, well equipped , and cute with plenty of spaces for everyone to chill. The boat and easy access to the Sandbar and Anclote Key areas are what sold us on the rental. Brenda, Kim, and Eric were all fantastic! Thanks for a relaxing week!

I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Pelican Place was perfect. Impeccably clean, attentive landlords, well-stocked kitchen (we like to cook and bake on vacation), great pool area--and having a well-maintained pontoon boat to use took it over the top. New Port Richey is less "touristy" than other areas we'd previously stayed and easier to get around. Great location and property!

The Great Pelican House

Great house and very well equipped. Super outdoor / pool decor and very playful, including the putting. The pontoon is a great addition and we loved going to the sand bar!

Property was amazing everything you needed and more was supplied by the owner. We enjoyed going out each evening watching the sun set. Saw tons of ocean life and sandbar was so beautiful. Will definitely be booking again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Excellent rental

Highly recommended if planning to visit this area of Florida. 40- 50 minutes to Tampa and Clearwater activities. Close to gas station and grocery. Great seafood restaurant options nearby. House covers all vacation wants/ needs. Very good communication with owner.

Wonderful stay!!

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood but still close to everything. The house was spotless when we arrived. The pool area is gorgeous with so many extra features. Beds and pillows were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on in any rental. The only negative I can think of was it was a little tricky to get the water temperature right in the shower but that could have been user error. Communication was wonderful. Would definitely rent from Brenda & Kim again!!

Perfect Vacation Home

I'm not going to lie, my family and I did not want to leave. The only thing missing was someone to serve the drinks. Between the full access boat, kayaks, and the pool, the family was never bored. The house is decorated beautifully with a beach theme, and the backyard is like a tropical resort. Great commication with the owners, house was spotless, and everything you need to have a perfect vacation was provided.

The perfect outdoor oasis

My family of 4 had the BEST time. The home is beautifully decorated and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were so comfy. Brenda and Kim have really thought of everything. We absolutely loved the pool area, especially with the lights at night. And taking the boat to Anclote Key was the highlight of the trip. This place has it all. We would definitely come back.

Amazing Stay

This house was amazing and perfect for a week of relaxation and fun. When you walk in the cleanliness of the house stands out right away along with the beautiful furnishings and decor throughout. The house is stocked with everything you need. The lanai and the waterfront backyard was the highlight of our stay. Never a reason to miss the beach, absolutely beautiful. Oasis

We rented last minute when we decided to extend our Florida trip. Stumbled upon this beautiful home with a backyard oasis and ended up staying 10 days. We were not familiar with the area of Florida and had a great time exploring. We spent a lot of time in the pool and backyard however! Would love to go back, it is perfect! Very kind owners as well! I might add it was the cleanest property we have ever stayed in!

Exceptionally clean house, comfy furniture, Nicely decorated, huge screened lanai has lots of seating and and large tv. It leads out to the new salt water pool surrounding by extensive landscaping and beautiful lighting. There is wildlife in the canal every day. Fully stocked kitchen with all the dishes spices and cookware you could need. Owners strive to make this property everything you could want in a vacation home. The quiet friendly neighborhood is a bonus.

Pack a cooler and boat out to the sand bar or to your own private beach get away with white sand and beautiful clear water. The sand bar is dog friendly. Anclote Key Island Preserve is nearby but no dogs are allowed. Beach chairs, coolers, sun umbrella and towels are provided.
