Fun Family Stay!

We took a quick weekend trip to Ann Arbor with our 6-month-old daughter and had a great stay at Arnold and John's place. It was the perfect setup for us—just a short drive to downtown for daytime exploring, and in the evenings, my husband and I had fun hanging out in the basement game room after our daughter went to bed. She was also completely mesmerized by the goldfish, which was an unexpected bonus! Arnold and John were super responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful Christmas Stay!

We could not have ask for a better stay in Ann Arbor for Christmas. Arnold and John were wonderful! Check-in was easy, and they were very accommodating, going above and beyond with a few items we asked for to make our family Christmas logistics work. We were even greeted with holiday treats snd a bottle of wine. Nice touch! Appreciated John’s effort to make sure the drive was cleared of snow. Thank you! We loved having the piano as several in our group were able to fill the house with Christmas music. The walkout basement was anything but a basement. You felt like you had your own private entertainment retreat. Perfect hangout for these cold MI days. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and more. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a memorable stay in Ann Arbor. Thank you!

Have stayed many times. This place is amazing. Love the hosts. Clean and well appointed and just lovely. Great for a weekend with friends in AA. Highly recommend and would stay here every time we come back.

Amazing Space

The combo of beautifully landscaped back yard and the ultimate hang-out set up in the lower level made this place incredibly fun and relaxing. The house has everything and the hosts were gracious and generous. It’s 15 minutes from downtown Ann Arbor but if you are okay with that distance, this place is comfortable and tricked-out for a really fun time. Pics were very accurate.

Wonderful family time

This might just be the best home I have stayed in. The creativity & design inside & outside of the house is masterful. It was comfortable and inviting. I enjoyed feeding the fish every day, visiting the koi fish & seeing a doe & her fawn in the backyard. The basement gave our family priceless time together to play pool, shuffleboard & darts, laugh and enjoy each other's company. I would love to stay here again. Thank you Arnold and John!

Awesome Location

Beautiful home and set up. Backyard is awesome. Only complaints are that the 2 things we were looking forward to the Pinball Machine and Dart Board we not working. Pinball Machine was broke, and the Darts for the Dart board didn't have tips so the darts would not stick in the board. Kind of a bummer but we made the best of it.

Amazing place to host a family gathering!!

We were gathering for a family memorial and this was the perfect place. Good large space to gather many and lots of indoor and outdoor places to settle for a smaller group chat. Amazing amenities, very comfortable, wonderful room for kids to hang out and have their own cool space.

Family wedding

Absolutely excellent!! We had a family wedding and this home was the perfect location for all functions. The hosts are wonderful and always received a quick response if questions. Seriously can’t say enough good things about this listing. Highly recommend!!

Ann Arbor Wedding

John greeted us on time and graciously gave us a tour. The house was very comfortable and provided more than everything we needed to prepare for a wedding, ironing boards ... to champagne glasses. The groomsman used the downstairs to dress and the garden provided spectacular backdrops for photos of the men. The house is comfortable and it could also be in a magazine. Thanks so much!

Parent's Weekend at U of M

Excellent Amenities just minutes from Ann Arbor

Great hosts in a great location. Absolutely loved the backyard and basement entertainment areas. The steam shower was honestly one of the best showers I've ever had. Highly recommended. John and Arnold were very quick to respond and very accommodating. Bonus points for them having a solar setup during a major storm.

Great Stay

Beautiful, quiet property in a nice neighborhood. Kitchen had every appliance and device known to man and refrigerator was well stocked. Even coffee was supplied. We had a great time. We had rain and the firewood got wet so we had to buy some firewood at the Meijer but otherwise everything was perfect!

Remote work week

We spent a week working remotely from the house while enjoying the amenities each evening. The house was great and was exactly what you see in the pics and reviews. Ann Arbor was the perfect location for restaurants and entertainment. The house was large enough for four guys to work on conference calls etc. Plenty of firewood and privacy made the outdoor space an ideal area to wind down each evening.

Ann Arbor fun/old stomping grounds

This was an outstanding place to have an Ann Arbor base camp. Brought two teenagers on a campus tour trip to our old stomping grounds at UM. Chef's delight and home away from home feel. Great layout and attention to detail. Bar/Game floor was ridiculous and led to very competitive challenge night! And the steam-room shower was quite excellent. Outdoor paradise with the Koi pond, covered patio and garden/trail action. Shawn played out some piano man hits for the crew as well. Everything you would ever need in the kitchen -- spices, equipment, even sushi setup! You need to stay here if you are visiting A2 or Irish hills area. Great access to US12 and I94 without being too close to them.

10/10!!! Best place to stay for family/friends/couples...Prime location a few mins from the mall & Downtown Ann Arbor. You wont be dissapointed....The owners were GREAT & we will definitely book again.

Always a blast!

This was our third stay at John and Arnold’s place. We just love it there! The hosts have thought of everything you might need or want. The house is tastefully decorated and so much fun. Highly recommend!!

Football Game Weekend. Amazing place!

Blown away by the experience and amenities. John and Arnold have a lovely home with every need and detail provided. Downstairs party room is a dream for any teen and adults alike. Steam shower perfect dor after a chilly game. Five stars all day.
