You’ll find a mix of sleeping options: 1 king, 3 queens, a twin-over-queen bunk at the top of a beautiful spiral staircase, plus a pull-out sofa in the office. Each queen bedroom also has a large arm chair that pulls out to be a single bed (great for kids). The bunk beds are in the loft at the top of the spiral stairs, and is not recommended for younger children. This loft provides privacy and an incredible large sit-in picture window. Every bedroom has a calming view of either the forest or the water. The bathrooms are well-equipped, featuring walk-in showers, a soaker tub, and even a bidet.
The kitchen is a true centerpiece of the home—spacious, thoughtfully designed, and ready for anything from casual breakfasts to full holiday dinners. At the heart is a stunning, hand-built French stove with a dual fuel oven and wok burner. The oversized refrigerator and freezer provide plenty of storage, along with a dedicated wine fridge to keep your favorite bottles at the perfect temperature. The large island offers lots plenty of seating and includes a second sink that dispenses carbonated water—perfect for sparkling refreshment on the go.
You’ll also have access to a home office space and fitness equipment including a Peloton, treadmill, and plenty of room for yoga, great for keeping up your routine or if you just need a space to unwind.
Step outside and enjoy the backyard setup: a grill, plenty of lounge seating, a dining table, and a cozy fire pit down by the lake. It’s an easy place to gather, relax, and make memories—whether you’re sipping coffee at sunrise or roasting marshmallows after dark.
You’re only 28 minutes from Detroit Metro Airport and 18 minutes from Michigan Stadium. Nearby spots like the University of Michigan’s North Campus, Matthaei Botanical Gardens, and Moonwinks Café/Tavern—a local favorite with coffee by day and live music and drinks at night—are just a short drive away.

**This home was thoughtfully designed to be eco-friendly and energy-efficient, offering individual comfort in every room. Each bedroom features a mini split unit with a remote control, so you can easily set your preferred temperature. A fresh air system continuously circulates clean air throughout the house.
In keeping with the open-concept, eco efficient and modern design, the master and both upstairs bedrooms have open layouts connecting the bedroom and en suite bath — there are no doors between these spaces, but privacy screens are provided (see photos). The ground floor queen bedroom and powder room do have standard doors.

This home was a passion project, thoughtfully designed by R.P. Raj- the home does serve as his primary residence when he is not traveling and when it's not booked by guests. Sharing his dream with others brings him great joy!
There are many things to do nearby. Go visit U of M's "Big House", or rent kayaks/canoes in Gallup Park. Enjoy upscale dining 3 minutes away at The Dixboro House, or a more casual, homey experience at the Moonwinks Cafe/ Tavern (gourmet coffee house by day turned tavern with live music by night). Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center is wonderful for it's three separate golf courses and catering, as well as casual dining. Mattaei Botanical Gardens are only 3 minutes from the house (featuring gorgeous tropical greenhouses and miles of outdoor trails), and downtown Ann Arbor is full of museums, shops and restaurants to explore.
