Upon entering the house, your gaze is drawn to the breathtaking ocean views, of the Caribbean Sea and nearby Saona and Catalina Islands that seem to fall directly from your sixty foot infinity pool and Jacuzzi. The villa boasts two story interior gardens that provide the unique Casa de Campo indoor/outdoor living experience. All this scenic beauty is surrounded by a 3000 ft outer deck and living area with beautiful gazebo, perfectly designed for outdoor entertaining and dining.

Barranca 21 is located on the third hole of the Links golf course offering a spectacular view overlooking the entire resort of Casa de Campo with a 180 degree view of the Caribbean Sea with an unobstructed view of spectacular sunsets each evening. The Villa offers the highest standards in living and entertainment luxury, in addition to the world famous exclusive resort amenities of Casa de Campo.

This villa has a MAXIMUM capacity of 16 guests.

Barranca 21 is the resorts only 8 bedroom villa with both and ocean and golf view. Located in a short cul-d- sac the villa has a private electric gate. Two additional service quarters bedrooms with a separate kitchen, baths and bunk beds are available for staff.

There is an fully equipped granite kitchen with commercial restaurant appliances, interior formal air-conditioned dining room with seating for 12, a two-story open plan living room that opens directly onto the outer deck, and a specially climate controlled family media/entertainment center. All living areas and the master suite command sensational views of the Links course, Casa De Campo panorama and the Caribbean Sea.

You can marvel at the spectacular sunsets while sipping cocktails from the patio, gazebo or any of the other numerous balconies of the Villa. You will be living the "elite luxury lifestyle" that caters to the rich and the famous guests of Casa de Campo. Enjoy the reality that other people only dream about when renting Barranca 21 in Casa de Campo.

Fully furnished and professionally decorated. Villa comes fully staffed with Cook, maid(s), waiter, gardener/security and English speaking villa manager. Staff hours are 7 - 4.30, 7 days a week and available for dinner if requested a day in advance. Night houseman from 6 pm - 6 am.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner PREPARATION included in rental. Food and drink provisioning is available at a separate cost.

All guest must pay a resort fee of $25.00/day for adults, and $12.00/children (4-12yrs). Casa de Campo add the normal 18% tax . This gives you access to the resort beach and pools as well as a charge card for resort hotels and bars

Best Staff on the Planet

The house is amazing and clearly lives up to all of the photographs provided, but that is on the bottom of the list of things that are great about this house. The staff of this house is absolutely amazing and will put any of your concerns at ease immediately. Marie was such a fantastic contact and made sure absolutely everything was lined up prior to our arrival, from check-in, to food and beverage, tee times, whatever you could possibly want. Julio, what else can I say about the guy other than he is just the absolute best in the business. Any problem that comes up, bang it's taken care of. Need something from the store, bang it's there before you can finish your sentence. Some need medical assistance, he's got them all fixed up and back enjoying their vacation within the hour. Frank was always there to get you a drink or some food and always with a big smile on his face. The food was absolutely amazing, and staff worked tirelessly to assist in making your every request a reality. Can't thank you all enough, and we will certainly be back!!!

A wonderful experience

The house is beautiful, spacious and very clean. The location is excellent; an fun and easy golf cart ride from all that Casa de Campo has to offer. The pool and hot tub are great to come back to after a day out and about. By far the best part of the house, though, is the staff. They were all so kind and accommodating and we didn’t want for a thing the entire week. The food was amazing and the house was always stocked with snacks and drinks. We will definitely be back!

AMAZING!!!

We have traveled many places in our lifetime but this experience was by far the most AMAZING!! We celebrated a monumental event with 21 guests. The accommodations, atmosphere and amenities were superb. The staff was utmost hospitable and the service exceptional. Loved the food, the massages were excellent and our boat excursion so memorable!! We cannot thank Marie and Julio enough for their professionalism and generosity!!! They definitely helped make our trip so smooth and relaxing... absolutely something we will always cherish.

Perfect Stay at Barranca 21

Everything about our entire stay at Barranca 21 was perfect. The booking process was a breeze and Kathleen/David coordinated all activities/transfers for us (golf, dinner reservations, meals/menu etc.). The staff at the house is top notch, Julio was an amazing resource to make anything you need happen. Julio would meet us or lead us to wherever we needed to go to ensure we would not get lost on the resort. He was even there to check us in at 5am! Francisco did a phenomenal job running the house and provided unbelievable service. George was great and helped us immensely in the evenings. The cook and maid staff were also phenomenal. We are already planning our return trip in 2019 and will definitely be staying at Barranca 21.

Amazing experience from start to finish

If you're considering a Casa de Campo vacation, I can't recommend Barranca 21 enough. Kathleen was such a gracious host and handled all our reservations and planning needs up front so that when we arrived it was all done and stress-free. The accomodations were first class, as was the staff's professionalism and service. The food and beverage plan is a great option too! We're hopeful to be able to go back and experience it all over again.

Baranca 21 Stay 2 Years In a Row

We stayed at Baranca 21for 2 years in a row and absolutely loved it! Kathleen was extremely responsive to email and in the overall planning of our trips (total 8 guys all golfers). We were provided with amazing staff that exceeded our expectations. Francisco was the best! The food was exceptional and the home was stunning! The golf in the resort is amazing! We returned to this fabulous home for a second time based on our first unforgettable trip. We will be back again as it is truly hard to beat finding this anywhere else.

The house and amenities were spectacular!

The property is as good, if not better, than the pictures. We were a group of 20 and still had room to spare. Everything was top knotch. The staff was far and beyond the best part of the package. They were professional and exceeded all of our requests and expectations. Cant't wait to go back.

Perfect again!

Year 9 for our golf group. This year was our largest group with 12 and the villa had plenty of room for all of us. The new 9th bedroom was a great addition. Great golf at now reduced rates, great meal planning and preparation by the staff, a villa manager (Francisco) and concierge (Wilber who was new this year) who were attentive to our every need and just overall great attention to everything. There really is no need to go to any restaurants even if they are good. All the food and beverages were prepared and served so well that we really didn't see the need to go anywhere. We unfortunately had a medical issue come up this year and Wilber took our friend to the local clinic and all went well. We wouldn't have had a clue on what to do and even this situation was perfectly addressed. I have said this in prior reviews but what Kathleen and Dave offer here is better than any 5-star resort I have ever stayed in. Next year will be the 10th anniversary for us and we can't wait. Thank you, Kathleen and Dave.

Wonderful!!!

We were a group of five couples from NY who travel together every year. This is a great house in a very convenient location with a terrific and friendly staff (Especially Francisco and Wilbur - who speaks perfect english). The concierge service offered by Kathleen is above and beyond what we had expected and we took full advantage of it: Golf (at reduced rates); meal planning by the cook; an on-site pig roast; restaurant reservations - (one night she actually made sure we got a specific waiter who took great care of us); purchasing of food and drink before our trip and when we need replenishment of each. The house itself has 6 bedrooms that vary from very nice to palatial. Not only do the bedrooms get cleaned daily, but also, each day the staff does laundry left in each dressing room hamper. We looked at a lot of houses before selecting Barranca 21 and what did it for us was the service, the generous living spaces with covered verandas, the fact that there were enough very-good to great bedrooms for our group and frankly, all of that at a reasonable price. The experience really could not have been any better. Thank you Kathleen and Dave!!!

Amazing House + Amazing Staff=Amazing Vacation

We were a group of 14, seven couples. Our stay was amazing. Francisco, Dulce and the staff were amazing. Food was fantastic, it absolutely equalled any restaurant that we went to and I'm from New Orleans! I'd recommend the steak and lobster night and the China Box roast pig as a minimum for your stay. The added cost for the food was more than fair. The staff all did an excellent job in trying to anticipate our every need. The only thing that I would take just a portion of one star away for was that some of the furnishings we getting a little threadbare and the golf carts, which are a necessity at Casa de Campo, were not in good shape. However, our stay was in the off season and I am sure that the number of people using the house can be the cause of these things. These are very small things and didn't affect our overall stay. Many of the couples planned to use the house again in future stays

Awesome House with an Excellent Staff

I visited Casa de Campo last week and was with a group of 8 couples at Barranca 21 for 4 nights/5 days. We had a blast! The house is phenomenal, with an excellent layout for relaxing, hanging by the pool, having lunch or anything else if you are looking for a relaxing vacation. The pool is beautiful with a Jacuzzi and built in bar, where our house manager, Francisco, was bringing us drinks and snacks during the day. The staff that the owner has in place is excellent - they new how to take care of us and basically got us whatever we wanted; they were very nice and we befriended them while there. One day, Francisco, even took us into La Romana, with one of his friends in his own car, to do some shopping. The cook made some excellent meals (awesome breakfasts every morning, filets, fish, chicken, salads, fruit, etc.) and there was always something to eat or drink, always clean plates and glasses to the extent that we wanted to make ourselves something when the staff wasn't there. It was like staying in a hotel, but being in a private home - daily room cleaning and fresh towels, the staff cleaned up after us every day, food/drink whenever we wanted it, and the comfort of being is a private home with friends. We had 16 people so we rented 4 golf carts, which was great as there is a fair amount to do in Casa De Campo: we went down to the Marina a couple nights, dined at the resort's restaurant one night, some went horseback riding, some went skeet shooting, and there is much more to do. The only thing I would point out is that the two bedrooms downstairs are bit less extravagant than those on the first and second floors (in the pics, its the room with the blue bedding and the room with two double beds with white bedding - as opposed to being like suites similar to all the other rooms, they are more like typical hotel rooms, but fine nonetheless). These two rooms are downstairs on the sides of the family room, where the pool table is. One of the rooms (the one with white bedding) is a bit nicer than the other and opens up to the back yard with a patio and small seating area. Although these rooms are smaller than the 6 rooms upstairs, they are much more private and nice when you want some peace and quiet. All in all, the vacation was phenomenal and would highly recommend it. By the way, the coffee the staff makes every morning is one of the best I've had and they give you hot steamed milk - more like a latte than coffe!!

Exceed Expectations in Every Way

18 adults went for a couples vacation and stayed in Barranca for 5 days and 4 nights. Everything about the vacation was perfect. This was like a vacation in heaven. The house was STUNNING, pictures don't do it justice, the pool was great and we probably spent most of our time there. The house staff was so friendly and anticipated our every need. I still dream about the food we had. They even got up early and packed us sandwiches for our catamaran day trip. Antonio, the house manager was absolutely one of the nicest and most accommodating people I have ever met. The owners even took us up to the main village one day and showed us around, which was so lovely and unexpected. We had a little trouble with the golf carts we rented but the staff worked hard to fix it. Other than that little bitty nit I truly have nothing negative to say about our trip there. If you're looking for a relaxing vacation where you don't have to worry about anything, this is the place for you. I'm looking for the opportunity to go back one day!

A True Vacation!

If you are looking for a true, relaxing vacation, look no further than Barranca 21. Waking up each morning to sit on the patio (while drinking amazing coffee prepared by the staff) and enjoy the pool/ocean view is the perfect way to start the day. The house is so open and airy and everything is beautifully decorated. The rooms are incredibly spacious and the common areas are all very inviting and comfortable. The staff at the house is amazing – incredibly helpful and there to ensure that you have a 5-star trip. But, what made the trip for me was the service we received around traveling with young kids (one 3-yr old and one 1-yr old). Kathleen and David made it easy to travel with my kids – they provided a crib, a high chair, pre-bought diapers and even hooked us up with a very reasonably priced nanny for help when we needed it. I was able to truly enjoy myself and relax (which doesn't always happen on vacation with young kids!). I would highly recommend this place if you have kids. We hope to make it an annual trip! It’s the perfect place for getaways with large groups of families or friends!

absolutely perfect!

I brought 12 guys to Barranca 21 for our annual golf outing, and this location, home, and service were amazing! Kathleen was great to deal with, helped me with every conceivable detail for set up, and the staff at the house could not have been more skilled or pleasant. the house is enormous, beautiful, very comfortable, and perfect. we chose to have all meals at the house, and I'm very happy we did! from steak and lobster one night, to a pig roast another, each meal was superb. I wanted for nothing and I want to extend a big thank you to Kathleen and the staff. golf was amazing! we'll definitely be back to visit!

Beyond Compare!

Staying at Barranca 21 was like being in a movie. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the view of the ocean from the pool and jacuzzi. We took fun walks and enjoyed the beach, marina and shopping close by. The staff was accommodating and very pleasant. Food was beautifully presented and delicious. All in all a great location!

Happy golf group

This was Year 6 for our group from Ohio and everything was just as good or better than in past years. The house with the pool and ocean views is obviously fantastic. But what makes the trip is the attention the staff and owners provide. With Dave and Kathleen taking care of all the details before we arrive and during and the staff taking care of everything we need from great meals and drinks to arranging massages, it's the perfect place to relax and have fun. Our stay here makes 5-star resorts seem very average; everything here is better than that. We loved it and we'll be back. Thank you.

Absolutely Perfect!

We've been visiting Casa De Campo several times a year for the last 15 years. We've stayed in Villas and we've stayed in the hotel (both pre and post renovation). Without a doubt, our last stay was our favorite and that's because we stayed at this property. Kathleen made sure everything was perfect prior to our arrival. The house is obviously over-the-top beautiful and luxurious. But it's the staff that made the trip. Kathleen really got the staff right at this house. The Chef is amazing, the service was top notch, and everything was sparkling clean. If you are looking for a place to REALLY relax, you've found it!!

Golf buddies trip

This was our 4th visit to the villa and every year the experience is phenomenal. The house itself is spectacular but what really makes the trip is the staff and the owners. The villa manager, Antonio, makes sure everything is in place, that we never run out of drinks or appetizers, arranges massages, etc. Sonia the cook prepares 3 meals a day for our group and each meal we have is 5-start quality whether it's the pig roast in the back yard, the lobster/filet combo, fresh fish, you name it. Kathleen and Dave, the owners, arrange our tee times, transportation, and make sure we have a great experience. This is by far the best golf trip I make every year and it easily beats what I've gotten accustomed to as being 5-star accommodations and service at other places we've stayed over the years. Each year I have several clients join the trip who haven't been here before and they all come back saying that this trip beat all their expectations. We're already looking forward to next year.

My family and I moved here 16 years ago permanently from the United States and decided to build, rent and sell villas. Our children have all gone to school here and we have owned several businesses including a restaurant/bar. I am originally from New York but am now enjoying the warm Caribbean sun everyday.
