Villa is beautiful. Clean, comfortable and quiet. The kitchen is very well equipped. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Our host was wonderful and quick to respond. We will definitely return.

The Mauna Kea Waiulaula Villa was absolutely amazing. The pool and spa were our favorite amenities. The view is fantastic and the kitchen is very well organized. The house was stocked with everything we needed, including beach equipment. The gas BBQ grill is nice as well, and we made dinner at the house a few evenings. The house is conveniently located near multiple beaches, golf courses and made for easy day trips to Kona and Waimea. Donna was a delight to work with and was extremely helpful. We had to tack on an additional night, and she made the process very easy. There was even a lovely bottle of champagne waiting for us at check-in. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent stay at Donna’s home in Mauna Kea. The house is one of the best-appointed vacation homes we’ve stayed in. Everything felt high quality and thoughtfully set up, from the kitchen equipment and appliances to the furnishings, outdoor areas, and overall amenities. It had everything we needed and made the house very comfortable and easy to enjoy.The location is also fantastic and provided a great base for everything we wanted to do on the Big Island. Donna was wonderful to work with—responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay.Overall, this was an outstanding rental and exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality home in the Mauna Kea area.

The kitchen had everything we’d wanted and so much room for our family to relax and spend a long holiday together. I highly recommend this say for a relaxing trip especially with resort access for all the additional amenities.

Lovely home

The home was clean and well stocked with everything that we needed for our stay. Sheets and towels were soft and very comfortable. Easy, convenient access to Mauna Kea Resort.

Home was as pictured in the photos. Kitchen had top of the line appliances and was well stocked for at home meals. We spent most of the time outdoors on the lanai and in the pool/hot tub, as well as at the beach and pool at the Mauna Lani. Only downside was Internet was unstable for work, TV.

Yes! Spectrum identified a range wide issue (tough being in the middle of the ocean) and has been rectifying one home at a time. They just did this home today. SO sorry! But glad those things we controlled were enjoyed! Hope to see you again! 🌺 Donna

Perfection! This was our first time staying at this house and it was amazing! Extremely clean, well stocked, great views and very comfortable! Donna was very easy to communicate with and we had the best week on the Big Island. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect Hawaii House

We had a wonderful stay, the host was wonderful and a great communicator. The property was immaculate and super organized. It felt just like we were in our own home and we all loved it. We will definitely plan to stay here again. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

Beautiful home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during our time on the Big Island. The home was absolutely amazing. The two bedroom suites made our stay very comfortable and the home is stocked with almost everything you could possibly need. The home was also very clean. The neighborhood is quiet and the ability to go to the resort on the property to spend time on the beach was an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again. It doesn’t disappoint.

Vacation of beauty

We had an amazing stay at Mauna Kea Waiulaula Villa 329 and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The home is beautifully furnished with upscale finishes and an incredible ocean view that we enjoyed every day. The location is fantastic, quiet and private, yet super convenient with easy access to the Westin and nearby resort amenities.The kitchen was very well stocked with tons of amenities, which made cooking and spending time at the villa easy and enjoyable. Everything felt thoughtfully set up, comfortable, and welcoming, truly a place you can settle into and relax.Donna was an incredible host; friendly, responsive, and helpful from start to finish. She made the entire stay seamless and stress-free.We loved our time here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-located place at Mauna Kea.

Fabulous villa

We found the Villa to be exceptional. It was the best stocked place we have ever stayed and beautifully decorated. The area is meticulously maintained and it feels very private. Donna was great to work with and quickly responded when we had a question. We would not hesitate recommending it.

Great vacation house

Beautiful property. Fully stocked kitchen. Loved dishes and glassware for inside and outside. Nicest glassware we’ve ever had at rental with various stemware cocktail glasses and decanter. Loved boogie boards sand toys and beach chairs. Perfect for our Big Island family vacation. Will be back!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. We were visiting for our son’s graduation from HPA and the property truly felt like our home away from home. Everything was thoughtfully designed for people who genuinely enjoy spending time together.The beds, sheets, and incredibly soft towels made every night feel like a high-end resort experience. The open-concept living room with the disappearing wall created an amazing indoor-outdoor flow that we used constantly, and the kitchen and BBQ area were beautifully appointed and exceptionally functional.One of our favorite discoveries was the neighborhood infinity pool and gym, which also served as the site for our son’s graduation party. We loved exploring the restaurants throughout the resort. Manta’s seared ahi tuna was truly unforgettable. What stood out most, though, was the feeling that no matter what adventure we went on during the day, we always had an incredibly comfortable place to return to at night. That feeling became the foundation of the entire vacation.The small details elevated everything: bedside charging ports, excellent WiFi, Sonos sound system, powerful AC, outdoor showers, a huge refrigerator, beautiful stemware, cloth napkins, sharp kitchen knives — all of it added up to a home that felt cared for and exceptionally well-appointed . Our host was the best. She was always a text away and super helpful whenever we needed anything. My take - best VRBO to date

Amazing!

This is a wonderful property - great location, beautiful house, exceptional management. I would rent this property again without hesitation and highly recommend. We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens). Everything you need is supplied and the house is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Donna is easy to work with and very prompt with addressing any questions.

A Week in Paradise

The property manager’s communication made a point to reach out to me with any info and return any of my messages promptly. Any questions I had were answered and the special requests I made were accommodated. We also had a bottle of nice wine waiting for us when we arrived (was actually the same wine we had at our wedding <3).

Great place away from it all

This house is very nice. Well appointed, comfortable, etc. On the less favorable side, we could not see the sunset from the backyard, it's 45 minutes to most of the restaurants (main town) and I had to pay extra if I wanted to heat the pool/spa. We enjoyed our stay very much, but might have shopped a little more if I had know the less favorable facts. Aloha!

Aloha! I am so sorry! We have tons of restaurants within 10 minutes and something like 10 in the resort. Kona is 45 minutes away but closer towns and resorts have tones of dining! Our concierge could have helped! SO sorry. Yes, there is no natural gas on any of the Hawaii islands. We have gas delivered to the homes. Isn't that crazy? So heating the pool/hot tub is a luxury for sure! You will find that price either built into the nightly rate, not offered at all, or my research has showed twice the price to heat the pools. But we SO appreciated your stay and gosh! I'm one row before your home (I can see the vila) and I have sunsets every night! I will pop over and look tonight! Mahalo for your stay!!!

Spectacular in every way!

This is the best equipped vacation rental I have ever stayed in with everything from beach toys and lanai dishes that were perfect for kids to scotch tape and puzzles. We stayed with our two toddlers and their grandparents and had an absolutely fabulous week enjoying one of the most beautiful beaches in the world at the Mauna Kea Resort. It was definitely a great deal to pay for the resort access for the group. It was so nice to combine the perks of a resort with the benefit of a house with a kitchen and space to spread out. True luxury to be able to lounge by the pool while toddlers nap in the next room! We would love to stay here again and would give our highest recommendation for this property.
