Great Place

Condo was clean, well stocked with everything you could possibly need, plenty of beach gear. Made for a perfect vacation.

The house was in excellent condition and very clean. Plenty of space. Beds were extremely comfortable and the view on the lanai was great. Snorkel gear and boogie boards were a nice amenity to have as well. We also took advantage of the resort amenities as well which were excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Family vacation

Had an enjoyable family vacation. Very glad we were able to take advantage of the hotel facilities. It was fairly expensive but we’ll worth for the family

Kitchen was well stocked though in need of some maintenance, the faucet for the kitchen sink is functional but in need of replacing. The fitness center is small as is the pool but overall still nice. The price is a bit high considering you’re still expected to launder towels at the end of the stay.

Great condo.

The condo is very well furnished with all the amenities needed for a great vacation. The kitchen is well stocked with spices and every utensil, pots and appliances you can think of. The location is great and the view from the balcony is a big plus.

Spacious, well-stocked home

We’d definitely stay here again. The property managers made the logistics easy and covered off any questions we had right away. The home is nice, spacious, quiet, comfortable and well-stocked. We’ve all enjoyed it!

Mauna Kea Resort Condo

This is a nice second floor unit. It is well furnished and comfortable. Nice sunset views. We have stayed at a first floor unit previously. These are really spacious, well appointed units. We make use of the resort pass for using the pool, beach access, gym and parking. Well worth it.

Exceptional stay in Paradise

The house was everything that was advertised. The 3 bedrooms were larger than we expected and the closet space and bathrooms were exceptionally large and spacious. The living area was wonderful for entertaining and with the sliding doors moved into the walls the large outside patio/deck brought the tropics inside. We used the Complex pool and area along with the beach and pool at Hapuna. Both were very nice. When we come back to the Big Island we feel there is no better place to stay than this condo.

Beautiful location but unit needed upgrades

Location and access to the beach was first rate. Sadly the outdoor kitchen appliances needed repairs or replacement. BBQing was very difficult with only 2 of 6 burners working. Deck refrigerator ran constantly with no cooling.

Beautiful Kona Home

We loved our stay here. The residence was beautiful and clean and the rooms were spacious and cozy. The outdoor deck with the wall of windows provided an amazing indoor-outdoor experience. We appreciated using the outdoor grill and the large media screen was great for movie nights. We are so glad we purchased the resort pass which provided extra amenities and activities at the Mauna Kea Beach Resort and the Westin Hapuna. The customer service team was also excellent and very responsive to questions in preparation and during our stay. The water pressure and hot water in one of the bathrooms needs adjustment but this did not deter our enjoyment of our stay. We would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay at your property!

As advertised

Expectations were met and I can't think of anything negative to say. Most of our time was spent at the Mauna Kea so many quick driving trips there and back. bring your own ground coffee there was plenty of T.P. so that was a wasted purchase for us. bbq was fantastic. pillows are too firm for our taste but that is clearly nitpicking. Again, key review here is expectations were set and met which to me = 5 stars.

Fantastic experience!

We loved our Ocean Villa condo! It’s spacious rooms were beautifully furnished and so comfortable for our family! The play equipment in the garage was so helpful! And the accommodations of baby items for our granddaughter were perfect! Thank you!!

Absolutely fantastic! We can't say enough about this property, along with the PiH team. Condo was exactly as described. Clean, beautifully furnished, and their admin. team promptly responded to all communication requests. Made the entire check-in and check-out process seamless! Thank you!

Review of E202

This is the second time we stayed in this unit. I think the unit needs to be refreshed. For instance…. Beds are very firm and lumpy, rugs are stained, glass dining table is impractical for a family of 7. Knives are dull, pots and pans are all scratched,dishes are chipped. We were there for almost 3 weeks and they didn’t replenish supplies such as paper towels,and dryer sheets. . We enjoy the area and location and will probably return next year but ask for a different unit.

Fun and Celebrations

Enjoyed our 9 night stay The floor plan,amenities were terrific The ability to use both hotels and complex’s pool and fitness center fit everyone’s life style. We didn’t use any equipment from garage; they need to be cleaned and updated

Vacation

This condo was beautiful! Bedrooms were spacious, beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were great. Close access to pools, beaches, and other activities. Easy check-in and check-out. Perfect spot!

We enjoyed this unit and location. The owners provided so many amenities.

The amenities and items we were able to use made this trip so enjoyable. Beach items, coolers and location were top notch.

Excellent stay.

My family lived on the Big Island in Waikoloa for 8 years in the 80s when my siblings and I were children. We recently had a family reunion at the Wai’ula’ula properties and I stayed with my children at this property. The stay was wonderful. We were very comfortable and enjoyed all the amenities. My only quibble is that the description said there would be tennis rackets in the garage and there were not. I had told my daughters we could do tennis one morning, but that didn’t work out. Everything else was perfect!

Poor communication and AC limit 😩

Hidden in the lease agreement is a clause that the A/C is locked at 72 degrees. Even for the master bedroom. This made for extremely hot and uncomfortable nights. Sheets in closet were full of sand. Dishwasher broke on 3rd night. They sent someone to fix it and he showed up at dinnertime on YouTube watching videos on how to repair it. Did not fix it and management team went dark and stopped responding over the weekend. Strange that this property only has one review. Seems the management deletes and starts over bc of negative reviews.

We are proud to have over 2000 five star reviews across our properties in the area. You can read through any of the ❤️PiH❤️ listings to see what the vast majority of guests say about us. This guests comment about deleting is completely false. This home was recently purchased, upgraded and turned into a vacation rental which is why it has fewer reviews than other properties that have been rented for years. That means all the items from beach gear, to kitchen utensils to smart TVs are new. There was not past issues before this guest with the dishwasher and it worked until near the end of their trip. When they let us know there was a problem we sent maintenance out that same afternoon to help them. When it was determined it would take a couple of weeks to get new parts to the island, we actually went to every store that night on Island and bought the last dishwasher in stock and installed a new one. Electricity on the island is very expensive and 72 degree limits for AC is the standard for hotels and vacation rentals in Hawaii.
