Available week of July 15 Monday to Sunday, Brand new beach house completely renovated both interior and exterior!! This beach house has two brand new bathrooms, brand new kitchen, all new appliances, new furniture and all new hardwood floors throughout in 2024. The beach house is located on the Fire Island village of Ocean Beach and is a great fit for almost all Fire Island-goers, with an excellent location just steps between the town, the beach and a 5-minute walk from the ferry! The house has four brand new bedrooms with accommodations for up to 8 people, two brand new full bathrooms. Step inside the front door and step into a large living room with a full couch, two chairs and a chaise, smart TV and central AC. The house has a brand new eat-in kitchen with a dining-room table for up to six people plus 4 stools on the kitchen peninsula. The kitchen also has a coffee bar including refrigerated drink drawer and ice maker! At the rear of the house is an oversized deck great for entertaining family and friends. The deck has a new patio dinning table, large L shaped couch and plenty of seating for the extended family. A new Webber grille to cook up those summer barbecues. A large outdoor shower to enjoy after the beach. Plenty of beach chairs and towels for the family. Washer and dryer as well. Weekly rentals only checking in on Monday and out on Sunday. Families only!! Please no pets or smoking is permitted.

Not Ready for Prime Time!

The house is lovely on the outside. Huge deck, outdoor shower and new patio furniture. Layout of home ideal for family who prefer 1 level living. Proximity to the ferry, beach, playground & restaurants is ideal. But, the condition of the home is not accurately portrayed. By the end of the season, expect some wear & tear. This house was not thoroughly cleaned. A garbage can top was caked in BBQ sauce, surrounded by bees. Dust and carpet piling were behind the sofas. Ceiling light fixture not working. Remote missing batteries, Dryer filled with sand. We cleaned up as we discovered. Bathrooms and kitchen in need of renos. Toilet paper holder hanging from the wall with masting tape. The first night, the newly installed sliding door came crashing down. Owner dispatched his contractor to check out & re-install. We discussed add'l issues with him. He returned with batteries. Days later, water from the washer or dishwasher backed up into the ensuite shower and toilet. We cleaned up & refrained from using ensuite, washer & dishwasher. Owner attributed to poor septic issues on island. (In 2019, we rented the home next door during a major storm, with flooding - no plumbing issues surfaced at that home). Owner stopped by on Saturday night to snake the line. Nothing worked. We rented a 2 bathroom home because we required 2 bathrooms. From Friday - Monday we had one functioning bathroom, no dishwasher or washer. Future renters should inquire about septic system!

Great House

Great house! Large, well-appointed deck. Phenomenal grill! Close to all the ice cream shops and the playground for kids. Would absolutely stay here again!

Terrific house and location - exceeded our expectations!

We had an awesome week in Ocean Beach - the central location of the house was perfect for us - close to town and the ferry (but not too close), and a short walk to the beach as well! The bright, open concept and four bedrooms were perfect for our family of three and our friends who stayed with us. The central air was amazing after a day at the beach - and the back deck was so spacious (better than the photos!) and had a new grill and beautiful patio set - and of course, the fabulous outdoor shower! The hosts were friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with. We look forward to coming back again next year!

Awesome!!

Had an amazing family trip to Ocean Beach and this home was perfect!! Open concept so we could all hang out together. Huge outside area with plenty of seating. Owner was very attentive and so pleasant to work with. We will look to stay here again next year! Great Time, Great Accomodations!

This house is charming...the back deck is great for cooking, relaxing and gathering! Location is great! We enjoyed this home and had a great time at Ocean Beach!

Absolutely Perfect

This house is exactly what one should be looking for when taking a trip to fire island. The location couldn’t be more perfect. It is a 3 minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the town/restaurants/bars. The rooms are clean and tucked away nicely making the rest of the living space spacious. Not to mention the big deck and outdoor shower what else could one ask for. The host was polite, accommodating and available whenever we had questions. 10/10 would highly recommend. Would love to rent this house again in the future!

Perfect Beach Getaway

My family was celebrating my one daughter’s sweet 16 and my other daughter’s graduation from college...with friends. I was absolutely pleasantly surprised to find this house quaint and delightful! This is a typical beach home on Fire Island with the perfect location... In the middle of everything!! The back deck is wonderful and we spent an enormous amount of time enjoying the new, beautiful hammock...and the clean outdoor shower ( as usual, a staple)!The inside rooms are small but they have just enough room to fit 10 people you like!!!! :-) The owner, Sal, was GREAT! He responded to all of my questions right away and was so easy to work with! This was my 9th year in FI and I have stayed in all types of houses. If you are looking for new... this isn’t the place for you. If you are looking to enjoy yourself with friends and family. Book it! We had another wonderful vacation and I would definitely stay there again...Thanks Sal!!
