Orchard Hill Farm--Elegant Comfort in Desirable West Side Paso Robles!

Orchard Hill Farm sits on a hill overlooking 36 acres with amazing vineyard and countryside views. There are beautiful gardens, ancient oaks and fountains. The upstairs guest house over the carriage house is 1350 sq feet with 2 bedrooms each with their own balcony and bathroom. There is a comfortable living area between the 2 rooms with a kitchen, dining area, gas fireplace, seating area and a 3rd deck overlooking vineyards. The kitchen features a four-burner cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, and refrigerator, though no conventional oven. This gorgeous guesthouse is perfect for 2 to 4 guests. Brand new gas BBQ and gas fire pit on site! (Photos coming soon.)
We offer: gourmet coffee and tea, baked goods, luxury amenities, bedding and robes. We have WiFi, Satellite TV, and a complimentary electric charging station for vehicles. You can view our history of over 500 Trip Advisor reviews. Paso Robles is a world renown wine region and is home to over 300 wineries. Orchard Hill Farm is located in the heart of the exclusive Westside. We are:14 minutes to the city center, 8 minutes to Hwy 101, 18 minutes to the Coast. Doug and Debbie have been Innkeepers for over 20 years and love to help with wine touring suggestion and can provide guests with many complimentary wine tasting tickets to surrounding wineries. On departure, we ask that you take out the trash and begin a load of towels in the laundry, if it exists onsite, and we require that you not leave any dirty dishes/pots & pans. Great Paso Wine Country Getaway

Charming secluded property located amongst the vine covered hills on the westside of Paso Robles. It was perfect for two couples. Quiet, peaceful and only a short drive to all the area attractions.

Beautiful Property. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Very convenient to so many wineries, and a really good set up for 2 couples. The owner was very conscientious & considerate. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing property!

We came to explore Paso Robles wineries. It's a beautiful property with very welcoming hosts. It's perfect for two couples. Lovely coffee cake and complimentary bottle of wine were nice touches. We will be back!

Idyllic

This is our second time in 6 months staying at this property with our friends It is so beautiful and quiet! The view is spectacular and the stars are amazing as it is so dark at night. It is very private and convenient to all the wineries. We love staying there and the owners always check to see if we need anything We will book it again!

ideal couples getaway

The two bedrooms with en suite baths and common living room and kitchen are idea for two coupes. The grounds are beautiful with long views from the three decks. My only complaint is the bedrooms were too hot, especially with the down(?) comforters.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and wonderful views. Enjoyed the many decks! Surprised that there was not a dishwasher or a traditional oven. In the smaller bedroom bathroom the toilet had a disgusting ring, which we cleaned about half of it off. Needs some bleach and elbow grease. We enjoyed the pastry and coffee beans were great, along with the bottle of wine--nice touch.

What a GEM! We could not have asked for a more beautiful setting for a much needed getaway trip! Deb and Doug were great and had fantastic recommendations for wineries and restaurants. The carriage house itself was impeccable. We can’t wait to come back!

Better than Pictured

Second story overlook of the surrounding hill Sides and vineyards is outstanding. The two well appointed and furnished bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms are better than the pictures can convey. So many rich details in textiles, furnishings, and decor. Comfy in every place. Fireplace ambiance created extra warmth and coziness. Kitchen had plenty of what we needed for tea, coffee. The living room is inviting for multiple people to sit and relax. Three decks created more outside space to enjoy the countryside.

April 2021 Stay

Orchard Hill Farms is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at. My sister and I were celebrating our birthdays and stayed at the Carriage House on the property. The stunning views from 3 decks, property and the house itself where amazing. We enjoyed preparing a nice dinner after wine tasting and just relaxing around the property or fireplace in the living room. We will definitely be returning in the near future. June 2022 Stay

We loved everything about this place. It is delightfully decorated and so cozy. It had everything we needed and special touches like a bottle of wine and some yummy coffee cake to greet us. Sitting by the fire pit at night or any of the 3 balconies in the mornings was perfect. The grounds are beautiful. You are a bit away from downtown but we loved the quiet country feel. If you ask, Deborah will set up a free tasting across the street at Denner Vineyards. We did this on our last day and it was the cherry on top. The wine was amazing and the views spectacular. This was our favorite winery along with Eberle, Tablas Creek, and Sculpterra. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Paso Robles!

Hello Carriage House in "Tuscany"

We spent Thanksgiving at Orchard Hill Farm. So, so charming. The enchanting drive to the property and up the drive to the Carriage House is one of kind. California was in a the middle of a severe rain storm and that didn't damper the stay. We grabbed umbrellas and enjoyed a walk to the main road. The house is so well decorated. Debbie used to run a B&B in the home and the charming elements are everywhere. Locally roasted whole coffee beans, complimentary bottle of wine, and banana bread slices under a cloche were a nice touch. Both bedrooms are master suites with full wall, windowed doors to their respective private balcony. The beds are situated to enjoy the "Tuscan" views when you wake up. We enjoyed seeing the very friendly chickens, the wild turkeys, (we once counted near fifty traveling together), the deer and the various types of birds. We have been using home-away-from-home experiences for Thanksgiving for a few years. Cooking in rental homes can be a challenge since you need to rely on the supplies at the properties. The Carriage House had everything we needed, and what we weren't able to find, Debbie very graciously offered her kitchen and supplies, her home is located a few steps away, though the setting was very private. Maybe at the top of the list of our wonderful experience was spending a little time with Debbie and her husband. Charming, once again. Also, we were able to enjoy wonderful tastings, courtesy of Debbie, at various wineries including just across the street from the farm - a member's tasting. I've used the word a few times, charming, and that is exactly the perfect word for this property. Would definitely visit again. (And catch up with Debbie and her husband.)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have chosen to stay at Orchard Hill Farm each year, for the past fifteen because of its comfort and country charm. It’s located in the prettiest stretch of Paso wine country, atop a hill with a lively view of the surrounding vineyards. The inn has been decorated beautifully by its owner, with the warmth and comfort of her own home. Over the years, the owners, Debbie and Doug have given us great advice about the wine trail, restaurants, walking trails; everything that made our stay extra special. We haven’t had to call upon them for problem solving with the accommodations simply because there haven’t been any problems. Book it. You’ll love it there.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been to similar properties in wine country in Oregon and Napa and I think this is the most beautiful setting we’ve experienced. Beautiful views from the hill of vineyards and woods. We visited the two closest vineyards and would recommend Jada for charcuterie/wine pairing and Denner for a great selection of top quality wines. Carriage house was very comfortable and well appointed.
