A Great Riverbend Escape has a nature trail 1/4 mile hike to the river to picnic, fish or just watch the world go by to relax--or you can drive to the river. This Property is located 3.5 miles from Downtown Franklin and is an official Appalachian Trail-friendly destination. The Franklin area is rich in gems and minerals and is known locally as the "Gem Capital of The World"; gem mine is located 2 miles away. Close to Nantahala Outdoor center for rafting and zip lines. Close to town but feels like you are in the Nantahala National Forest. Clean and comfortable.

This property was nice, quiet and clean. It's in a neighborhood but all the neighbors we passed by were friendly and waved in passing. Conveniently close to town but not too close. It was just right for our stay while visiting family. We would stay here again.

The place is great. Only issue i might have had was it was not as easy as i thought it would be to get to the river. but we found other places to go. over all i would for sure go back. I give it 5 stars.

Great mountain escape

This property is an excellent find. Everything was as advertised. The location was quiet but convenient for many of the activities in the area. Our family had a great stay. We just wish we had more time off for this vacation!

Needs a new master bed.

The location is quiet and beautiful. The house is nice and the host was fine, but the bed was horrible. My husband and I ended up sleeping on the couches because of the bed.

October Stay in Franklin NC

We needed a place to stay for the weekend that had 3 bedrooms. This location was the perfect size and only 13 minute drive from where we spending our days. The leaves were starting to change which was nice.

Labor Day Getaway

Our family had a great time for Labor Day weekend. The house was perfect for our family of 5. It was super clean and we had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking down to the river. Thank you for a great stay.

Good for a short stay

The property was clean. It could use some updating. The beds were older and so was the towels and furniture. Its ok for a short stay but it also has no internet.

Fantastic Franklin

The lovely 3-2 house as just perfect for my stay. It was located near my the place I needed to be. The owner was very organized and the house was immaculate. I would highly recommend this home.

Lovely Private Cabin

My family and I had an amazing time, and the cabin was everything we could have asked for. It was clean, comfy, and private. Yet, it was close enough to downtown Franklin and many of the natural attractions. Cherisse was a wonderful host, who communicates very clearly, and answers any questions. I highly recommend this place, and look forward to coming back soon.

Nice place. Will stay again

Nice clean home in a quiet neighborhood minutes from anywhere in Franklin. No issues whatsoever, other than maybe that there is construction going on along the nature trail to the river, so the trail is muddy and ugly at the moment.
