Rare cape cod style home with romantic setting. Ocean views from kitchen, great room, dining room and front den/bedroom. This is the model home in the 1989 community. With new hardwood floors beautifully appointed. Kitchen and bathroom still original but Kohler fixtures. Egyptian towels and 500 count sheets, goosedown comforters. 3 beautiful outdoor spaces with loving patio furniture. Gated community has private boardwalk to the beach. The beach!!! Beautiful sunrises, sunsets and beach fires to create incredible memories.

Great location and a beautiful home. The beds were comfortable and the home was well equipped for our 8 night stay.

4th of July vacation

We had a wonderful week in Gearhart at this beautiful home. The house is very nice with original artwork and designer decor. You can tell that the owner takes pride in this house. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen has plenty of counter space and has most of what you will need for meals at home and the bathroom was big enough for our family of 4 to share. The dining room has a large table and there is a side deck and patio furniture with serene ocean views for enjoying morning coffee or eating dinner. The living room has several comfortable sofas and seating facing the ocean with views of the sunset. It doesn’t get much better. The neighborhood is extremely friendly. Everyone is out walking dogs, heading to the beach or to the golf course and they all smile and wave. We meet several neighbors and my 2 boys meet children riding bikes around the neighborhood and shooting baskets on the nearby court. We played tennis and meet other families who were playing pickle ball on the court next to us. We enjoyed an afternoon of golf and the course is family friendly. We rode our bikes everywhere, down to the courts, to the golf course, to McMenamins for breakfast, into Gearhart for dinner at Pacific Way Café for dinner. The kids (8 & 12) rode down to the courts on their own or around the neighborhood, they walked down the boardwalk to the beach and we never worried because everyone drives slowly since there are plenty of young families with kids. It was a very relaxing and at the same time active family vacation. Kids were happy and so were the adults. We did have a few issues and the owner went above and beyond to make things right. We had a difficult time gaining entry to the property because the code did not unlock the door but within a minute of sending a text to the homeowner we received updated instructions and made our way inside. We also had an issue with the house not being cleaned properly and once again we received excellent communication from the owner and she had a team of cleaners come all the way from Portland on a Holiday (July 4) and clean the house from top to bottom. I understand that as an owner of a rental property that you have to rely on good help and sometimes things don't go as planned so I was not upset at the issue with entry or the cleaning. I was hoping the homeowner would make things right and I have to say that she did, with quick and replies and by offering us a credit and using her resources to
