Pristine nature surrounds this beautiful, 4 and a half bedroom and 3 bath, spacious home. Jacuzzi tub in master suite. And every room has gorgeous views of the lake. The back yard is a sanctuary of flowers, birds, and wildlife that gently slopes down to the quiet cove where you will find the boat dock and lake with clear and often warm water for a morning swim. The nearby boat ramp is only a short walk away making it not only convenient for getting your boat launched but is also great for additional parking if needed. Nearby hiking and birding is fantastic.

Great family friendly getaway. Host was very available and accommodating. Kitchen and linens/towels very nicely stocked. Will definitely recommend to others.

Beautiful home and property. We enjoyed the spacious deck, the dock with quiet cove for swimming, large windows overlooking the yard & water, comfortable beds and well-stocked kitchen. We would definitely revisit this property and would recommend, especially for families with children wanting to swim. The yard was a bit steep down to the water but provided a nice workout :). Everything was as-advertised.

Our stay was great!! Don was very helpful and the house was better then expected. The walk to the dock has the most gorgeous views. Definitely staying here again.

Thanksgiving getaway

Perfect family property

We stayed here for the Fourth of July week. what a blessing this quiet cove was while the rest of the lake was busy. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Home

Lovely, comfortable home with great amenities. We had a wonderful stay! Owner is quick to respond and friendly. Will rent this home again.

Perfect lake retreat

We came for our summer family vacation. This is a lake we frequent. Great location. House had everything we needed. We will be back for sure.

Awesome place to stay!

We had a great Memorial Day weekend stay at this beautiful home! The kids had their own area where they could play pool or ping pong when we came in after spending the day on the Lake! We enjoyed the deck. The cove was great for floating around and not having to worry about boat traffic. It is on a beautiful part of Lake Keowee!

Our Family had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was very comfortable and the accommodations were great! Actually, it is more beautiful, then the photos depicted. It was clean and well stocked with everything. The Host, Mr. Don Doggett is a great communicator and so easy to work with. He was so accommodating and wanted to make sure our Family had an enjoyable stay. He made sure there was space available, for our Son to park his pontoon boat and that was very important to our family. Mr. Don definitely gets a 10 rating. Our family would rent this property again. Our only disappointment was the Bunkhouse. It is such a beautiful building on the property and our family would have loved using it. Even though it has AC, it has a musty smell, so you couldn't really enjoy hanging out in it to get out of the heat, take naps or sleep in it. All in all, thank you Mr. Don, for making your beautiful home available, for others to enjoy, like our Family.

Perfect Vacation Home Exceeds Expectations!!

We had the BEST time at this gorgeous immaculate home with wonderful landscaping and great location right on beautiful Lake Keowee. We enjoyed swimming in the clear blue waters right off the covered dock with sandy beach, kayaking the peaceful wooded cove and playing pool/ping pong! Close to Keowee Towne Market, Pizza & Deli is a plus! We hope to come back soon!!

great time

place was great, location was amazing. only negative was the wifi was very sporatic and didnt work for extended periods of time and our boat broke during our stay! Other than that.... Lots of family fun!

Perfect home for a family vacation

This is a beautiful and well appointed property. The owner is very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We loved the provided paddle boards and kayaks. It was so nice to have a second family room with a pool table for the younger crew. We also enjoyed the fire pit and swing. Fishing from the dock was relaxing, and if we had brought our boat it would have been perfect, the boat ramp was a just a short walk away!

The Most Stunning Lake House EVER!

It’s difficult to describe just how incredible this home really is. The house itself is gorgeous, spacious, and set up for entertaining. Everything is well stocked and has everything you could want/need. But the yard and view seals the deal. We spent the majority of our time in the water and enjoying the dock. The Doggetts are wonderful hosts and were accommodating to our last minute requests and questions. We’ll be back!!!

Absolutely wonderful lake vacation !!

This was a family vacation with our kids and grandkids, nine of us in total. This home was the perfect size and laid out just as described. Communication with the owner was very responsive. We know lake keowee well and this home is perfectly located on the north side of the lake. Only a shortly stroll down to a wonderful dock with all you need to enjoy the lake and a great place to dock your own boat. This is a very quiet cove so no worries of all the boats flying by the dock. We loved it and will stay here again if all possible.

Wonderful Home on the lake

A great home for a large group (10 people). Convent to boat landing only a few hundred feet away. Quiet area off the main lake to swim and relax at the dock. House is very clean and has everything you need for cooking and even a new grill on the lower level. Owners are great and always answer questions quickly. Stayed the last two year and have had never had any issues. A/C is also great and keep house very comfortable even in the extreme heat during August (upper 90 entire time we were there).

Nice property

Overall great stay. House was clean and very spacious. Owner was nice and available. Bunk house was not useable. Not air conditioned ( part was broken on mini split) and smelled really musty and like mildew in there. I was counting on this as we had a baby who needed air conditioning nap space. Also couldn’t let me son sleep out there as expected. Would have rather known this when it was booked otherwise we had a great time and the cove was nice and quiet and very close to boat ramp.

Fourth of July

We loved the house and Don was very good at communicating. There is a lot of space. It’s great there is an extra fridge. The Ac works great as it was hot. There is quite a hill to the lake that does not appear that way. The dock is nice however you only have access to one side as it has 2 boats and jet skis on it. So no slip available. If you plan to grill you probably should bring your own grill as the grill is very small and in poor condition. I did report this to Don. Also, the washer could use replacement as well. Overall, very nice home and convenient to boat ramp. A lot of space and quiet cove to kayak. I would stay here again. Very nice place. Thanks for sharing your home.

This property was just as the other reviews stated. Clean. Well equipped. Beautiful. Communication with the owner- EXCELLENT! We even rented his daughter’s boat and her communication was just as quick! I can’t say enough great things about this place! We rented this house as a girl’s weekend getaway so four of us drove over from Indiana to meet my daughter who goes to Clemson. It was everything we had hoped for! We even had a private chef sent over by a friend one of mine one the evenings to cook for us in that large, gorgeous kitchen. There are amazing hiking trails within a 7 to 9 minute drive and other than leaving for that we spent the entire weekend at this home. We played cards we listenedto music we cooked good food and we just had a perfect weekend.

You probably already know that the lake is one of the most beautiful and enjoyable anywhere. The water is warm (in the summer) and clear. This house is on a quiet cove and at the same time, close to the boat ramps and weekend fun. If you are brave, you can visit one of the nearby jumping rocks and take the plunge!

The yard provides a bit of a steep walk between the lake and the house. However, the beautiful ornate plants offer plenty of excuses to stop and smell the flowers along the way. If you love the special beauty that only nature can provide, you will love the yard surrounding this house!
