Welcome to our comfortable luxurious Kana'i a Nalu (Gentle Surf) Ground Floor Condo in quiet Ma'alaea, often called 'Maui's Best Kept Secret'. Located on one end of a peaceful dead end road and fronting a pristine and uncrowded 3 mile long beach 120 feet from your Lanai door, our beautiful and comfortable condo awaits your pleasure...
The Maalaea Harbor with its stores, kid park, and the Maui Aquarium as well as the various tourist boats are about 1/3 mile away by the highway-a long walk or a short drive.

Our Condo on Ma'alaea Bay is a beautifully furnished and decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. Major Remodel done (2007), constant upgrades including 52' LCDTV, New Master BR Furniture, Gourmet Kitchen complete with Granite Counters, Cherry Wood Cabinets, and Designer Appliances. Air Conditioning, Premium Tile in Living Area and total remodeling of both baths (includes adding Jaccuzzi tub). Also added 32' LCD in Master BR, 27' LCD in BR2, new super quiet Washer Dryer. Plantation Shutters in BRs, pull down shades in Living Area, Free High Speed Wireless Internet. Parking directly adjacent. We have just replaced a new dishwasher and the master bedroom new mattress.

The miles-long beach and clear water will entice you to walk, swim, snorkel or just relax in the sun. Watch the sunrise over the beach and 10,023 foot dormant Haleakala (House of the Sun) Volcano...

2nd bedroom- twin beds (can use kit to form a king, 27' TV, DVD, phone).

Walking distance to Ma'alaea Harbor with its great Maui Ocean Center aquarium, miniature golf and bumper boat park, restaurants and shops. Whale watching and snorkeling trips depart from here.

4 Golf courses within 5 miles - including Sandalwood, Waikapu, Maui Lani, and Elleair (Silversword), with the world-famous Wailea and Makena courses only a few miles south. Ka'anapali is only 20 minutes north.

Family Vacation

Great place to stay.

Great location in the center of the island with local beach access. The pool is large and perfect for when it gets to windy.

Wonderful stay

My wife and I and our adult son stayed here for a week and we all had a great time. The unit was clean and comfortable and well equipped. The location, pool, complex and grounds and view are fantastic.

Wonderful place to stay! The property was perfectly located to have wonderful views and easy ocean/pool/garden access. It had everything we needed which was extremely helpful, and the community in the complex was wonderful as well. It was absolutely the perfect place for our special family trip together!

Perfect Maui Home Base

This was a perfect place for our week of adventures in Maui. Central location, easy parking, quiet and secure. Ground floor is super convenient and felt private and safe. Owner was very helpful with our questions and it made for a great vacation. Would do this again for sure!

Wonderful spot, would stay again

Overall a great stay. Very quiet location and the grounds are immaculate. Great patio with wonderful view, morning sun and afternoon shade. Pool was nice and the 2 large BBQ’s were great. Kitchen was well stocked with sharp knives, stainless steel pots and pans, and plenty of plates cups and glasses. Coffee grinder, press and drip machine. The condo itself is comfortable but tired and could use some updating. A few things we could suggest is replacing the patio chairs, providing more than 1 beach chair and upgrading the AC unit. Helen was an excellent host, clear communication and when the microwave stopped working she had a new one there the next day. Thank you Helen for sharing your place with us, we will certainly contact you again on our next trip to Maui.

Great spot

Only downside cleanliness and cushions on all indoor furniture needs replacing. We loved our beach walks/swims at this location. Nice pool/ BBQ we used daily. Grounds are pretty and well maintained.

Absolutely loved staying here during our family trip to Maui for 8 nights, and would definitely stay here again. The ground level lanai was perfect with kids who wanted to be outside constantly and get in the pool and beach. Location is great in central/south Maui and a fairly short drive to everything. It was perfect. Only complaint was the back sliding door is difficult to open and close even for adults.

Great Ocean View and Prime Location

We had a wonderful stay at this condo during our Maui vacation. The highlight was definitely the ocean view and close to the pool area – it’s the perfect spot to relax and take in the island’s beauty. The location is ideal, with amazing beaches just a short 20 to 25-minute drive away, making it easy to explore some of the best spots Maui has to offer. While we did encounter a few roaches, which we understand is common in tropical environments, it wasn’t a major issue for us. The furniture was a bit dated, but overall, the condo was comfortable, providing everything we needed for our stay. If you’re looking for a centrally located, peaceful place to unwind with beautiful views, this condo is a great option!

Family Christmas holiday

This was our 11th stay in 21 years. We always go to this condo complex. This was the first time staying in the ground floor unit, very convenient. Not the greatest ocean views, but we just sat out on the grounds more often. We love being in the Maalaea area, very close to everything.

Relaxation at its finest.

The apartment, in particular the kitchen was very well equipped. Breakfast on the Lanai was a wonderful morning ritual. Mahalo.

Beautiful Artwork

This condo is located at a great location. There is something to do nearby for everyone. We loved watching the whales do acrobatics and the turtles feed along the rocks. If you like to cook the kitchen is nicely updated & you will never find a kitchen better supplied than this one. The condo had lovely artwork which gave it a homey feeling. Unfortunately the condo needs fresh paint and updating of the living room furniture. The linens for the queen bed were in dire need of replacing. They had holes in them and the elastic on the fitted sheets no longer existed. The carpets need replacement (or a professional cleaning) as well as the sliding door window treatment. I would recommend a stay here but only after the above issues were addressed.

Excellent experience.

It is a great location near the harbother. Residents at the condos are very easy to get along. We had a great time at the pool and watching the turtles out in front. I like the condo so much. I booked it for a month next year.

Celebrating my mom’s 80 birthday

This was the second time I stayed here, last time in 2019. My mom loves the quiet peaceful area with the trade winds. We love your place, & enjoyed our stay. Love that you are centrally located going to Kahului or to Kaanapali is really great! Thank you!!

Great location. Lacking household supplies

The condo wasn’t clean, tub hadn’t been cleaned as in dirt on the base of the tub. Kitchen floor had never been swept and we had cockroaches. Shampoo, conditioner laundry detergent had been watered down a lot,3 rolls of tissue paper for 3 ladies for 10 days was not enough and when I asked for more I was told it was up to me and I protested and more was brought to the home. Location was great. .

We bought another condo in Maalaea originally in 1981 but sold it when our kids were in college. When we could afford it again we shopped all over the island but returned to peaceful Maalaea.
. The beautiful quiet beach, peaceful location, and cooling breezes called us back.

Since we planned on staying there ourselves a lot, we did some serious upgrading to the place; a flat screen TV in every room and a modern kitchen were a must. We opened up the kitchen so you could see the ocean from there,modernized with cherry wood and granite and installed a whisper quiet Bosch dishwasher as well as a modern quiet washer and drier since we don't want to be disturbed. We love it there and we are sure you will too. Check out our guest book when you visit and leave us your comments
We have also installed a new system that provides free WiFi (with our private security code) and FREE worldwide Long Distance from our in condo phones!
