This is a unique property on Maalaea Bay. Recently upgraded and renovated, it boasts wheelchair accessible features such as a large master bathroom, ADA compliant, including a large roll-in shower. Ground floor accessibility and very close accessible parking stalls make access ideal. No elevators to have to deal with. You can roll right up to the sandy beach!

If you are not in need of accessible features, this unit is still the perfect getaway. It is in a quiet area of the Makani A Kai condominium with lots of privacy. Adjacent to a wildlife preserve area and 4 miles of uninterrupted sandy beach, there is no other condominium to the south for miles.

It is also directly adjacent to the best swimming area in Maalaea and a world-renown surf spot. The locals know that this beach is the best kept secret on Maui - away from the high-traffic tourist areas.

We live and grew up on Maui and our own house is only minutes away! If you have any needs, please feel free to call us!

Condo was exactly as described. It was in a quiet area with access to the beach. Jon was very responsive to any questions or concerns I had. Definitely recommend this condo and plan on staying here again.

Wonderful location in Ma’alaea Bay

Great location right near the beach. Loved the first floor unit and the walk out of the slider. Unit had everything we needed for our stay in Maui. Had a great time!

Convenient location

The location of the property was out of the congestion of the main Maui area, but convient to reach everything else we chose to visit during our stay.

Great choice for family vacation

We had a great experience staying at Jon’s place. It is suitable for family vacation with small kids. Kids love playing in the tropical gardens of the complex and enjoys the swimming pools/playing sands on the beach.

Host Jon had great communication and kept us informed, responded to messages quickly. Condo is very clean, beautiful and in the perfect location-20-30 minutes any direction you want to visit. Steps to the beach with miles of golden sand. Loved watching the turtles swim. Having air conditioning and ceiling fans in each room was very nice. The beds were super comfortable. There is a public park next door that can get a little busy with locals on weekends but closes at 7 so wasn’t an issues with noise too late- it was nice to meet/visit with some of the locals. There are beach chairs, small cooler, some beach toys and beach towels to use which were all appreciated. The pool was also nice to relax in. The only negative was the people staying in the unit above us were really noisy-walking heavily/stomping, vacuuming and moving furniture at 5am (would highly recommend they have the felt furniture pads especially on the kitchen chair legs up there to decrease noise- maybe I should had picked some up at Walmart for them while I was there as a hint!) but this was just our experience and not everyone is inconsiderate of others so may not be an issue for everyone.Overall would highly recommend this condo and if/when we return to Maui I will stay there again!! Thank you Jon for sharing your little gem!!

Great place for family vacation

Terrific location and beach access. Each room has its own A/C and ceiling fan. Well stocked kitchen. Quiet neighborhood. Friendly owner and facility Manager. Great spot if you like to walk on the beach. You can walk from the complex all the way to Kihei on the beach.

Beachfront getaway in Maalaea

We had a wonderful stay at Jon’s place. The location was perfect as it was just a few steps from the beach, which during our stay was very private. We are a family of five with young children and were very comfortable. The unit came with everything we needed i.e. linens, towels, beach chairs and a well stocked kitchen (pots/pans/utensils etc). We look forward to a return visit!

We had the most amazing trip for our first time in Maui. Jon was an excellent host and this spot is fantastic. Walk right to the beach from the property. Located between 2 towns so you have options on activities. Highly recommend staying here if you are a small group and want a fantastic visit.

Anniversary/ Graduation trip

Absolutely loved this place! When we arrived it was nice and clean inside, and hidden in the back so it was nice and private. Beach was just a short beautiful walk down the path. The property opens into a gorgeous beach that was perfect for our kids 18, 16, 12 to go play in, and turtles always near the rocks! This was a perfect condo for our family!!

Spacious Condo on Great Beach

The condo is clean and well equipped. When we needed tools for the grill, they were delivered the next day. Having a five mile beach just steps away is always a plus.

Slice of Heaven

Perfect little retreat for our family. The location is great, right on a beautiful beach that goes for miles. Banana trees around the condo. Good central location for everything we wanted to see and do. The owner was quick to respond and let us have a later check out because of our late flight. The only thing is the beds are full sized and not queens. Would definitely stay here again.

It makes a difference to be at a property right on the sandy beach. This low-rise condominium has a swimming pool and a nice grassy lawn with lawn chairs and a BBQ area with gas grills - all right on the beach! During whale season you can see whales playing just offshore.
