The house was very nice, however the backyard was stunning. We loved hanging out on the patio watching the river, It is set upstream of the commercial float outfitters, so it was extremely quiet and peaceful.

This place was wonderful. The place was just right for what we were needing. The venue where my son got married was just around the corner so it was great and big enough for all of us. It was 10/10.

We actually had a treatment completed just last week, which can sometimes result in seeing a few dead bugs shortly afterward as it does its job. We’ll continue to keep a close eye on it to make sure everything stays as comfortable as possible for our guests.

Place was awesome. We had a lot of rain while there but with the ping pong table set up, large dining room table for kids to play games while parents watched movies it was perfect.

Home is amazing with all the amenities, nestled under big beautiful trees and a private dock for easy access to the river. Definitely a family pleaser! We will be returning for a longer stay next time!

Overall an ok house. On the river but the river was FREEZING. no water toys like kayaks or tubes or fishing poles to at least enjoy it. Grass needed to be mowed. Leaky toilet and stopped up bathroom sink. I wasn’t impressed. It looked much nicer in the pictures. For the price I paid I was expecting more.

For safety and liability reasons, we do not provide water equipment such as kayaks, tubes, or fishing gear, but guests are always welcome to bring or rent their own. Spent a few days here for my daughter's graduation weekend. The back deck was awesome to sit and enjoy the outdoors, with lots of tree cover to keep you comfortable, even in May! Loved how close it was to Canyon Lake North Park for a swim. The river behind the property was very stagnant and had lots of snakes, so we did not swim. We did however, bring rafts to fish from and to enjoy the river otherwise. Communication with the property was excellent.

The excellent reviews this property has already received still stand true. I can’t add anything except how much I enjoyed the tranquility, the nature, and ambiance. I spent one morning on the floating dock for two hours, watching the rays of light from the sun pour in through the trees and reflect off the fog gathered at the surface of the river. The birds flying by, the chirping, the fish splashing, turtles’ heads popping through the surface of the water, the chimes of church bells, and the cool breeze coming up off the Guadalupe. Truly spiritual.The temperature was hot, but there is no better place to be in Texas during the hot summer months than the Guadalupe River. The river was nice, refreshing, and most importantly cold, which felt so good with the sun hitting my skin. We had ages 14 - 55, and everyone enjoyed it immensely. My husband, an astronomer by hobby set up his telescopes for night viewing. The evenings felt very nice, and the sky provided a picture we city folks don’t get to see often.It was the perfect backdrop for my daughter who was celebrating her birthday. Simply magical.

Great spot for a weekend trip

Rented to float the river and it went well! Beds were comfortable and the table was big enough to seat out group. Overall pretty decent place to stay!

the entry into Guadalupe River is ideal but the house itself could use some updates and repairs but we had a great time!
