Beautiful location/ well stocked kitchen

We had a great partial view of the ocean with views of the whales from our lanai. The lanai is out of the wind, close to the pool and a short distance from the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with tools, and we were able to cook some of our meals and enjoy the resort, rather than eating out. The ceiling fans were all we needed to keep the condo cool, and the resort is a very lovely spot on the west side of Maui.

A great vacation spot

Great property. Very close to the Gazebo restaurant (breakfast) and Sea Hose (dinner), with a view of the Ocean. And of course very close (short walk) to the beach. I had never visited in January, but because we wanted to whale watch, this was when we chose to go. The rough surf, reduced the ocean visibility, so not the best conditions for snorkeling. But we still managed to see two green turtles. Only negative was the check-in procedure. When I last stayed at Nipili shores Resort, there was a room refresh service that occurred every few days, where new towels were supplied and things straightened up. At checkin, I was told there would be a 58 serve charge, although it was never made clear to me what this was for. I asked if it had to do with the room refreshing service and I was told that service was no longer provided. I asked how to obtain new towels and was told to simply bring them to the frontt desk before 3 PM. When I brought towels to the front desk, I was told I would have to speak to the management company. I told them I had no idea who that was and the woman behind the desk asked how I made my reservation. I told her the reservation was made through vrbo and she then said, OK, call this number and someone will bring new towels. When we called the number, the woman who answered said she was on vacation. Eventually I ended p just washing the towels we had in the laundry room. Not the end of the world, but not what most of us consider part of a vacation

A great home base

We had a great time at Byron's property. It had everything we needed. We checked in at midnight with the night guard and he walked us to our room and made sure we got in. The condo was perfect for our family of 3 and we made good use of the boogie boards and beach chairs. Thank's again Byron. Mahalo.

Great stay!

We’ve stayed in many different properties in Maui and Napili Shores B112 was exactly as advertised. We really appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with lots of dishes, mugs, glasses and utensils. The cupboard stocked with spices and other essentials was a lovely surprise. We enjoyed the use of big beach towels, chairs, umbrella and boogie boards. Thank you Byron and Christine. Your place is lovely and we will definitely be back. Michele & Jim

Really nice Condo in a great location.

We stayed 9 nights. Unit was very attractive and included a number of upgrades. Downstairs location worked well for me. There was an ocean view from the lanai. Owner responded quickly when I had questions. We used BBQ and pool and hot hot tub in community area. All were very nice. Beautiful flowers in garden were a plus as was nearby breakfast restaurant. A great place to stay.

Napili shores

Property was beautiful on the shores of Napili bay. Amenities are basic but well maintained. This property has a quaint feel of old Hawaii without high rise resorts. The unit itself was nice, updated, clean and had 2 boogie boards and beach chairs and umbrella for use.

Amazing location and well furnished property

The location was perfect. The information given to maximize the stay and organization of the entire process was likewise perfect. Walking distance to world class snorkeling, waking up to rainbows, several excellent restaurants on property as well (Sea House for lunch the best). The only neutral thing I would say is that the laundry room washers are low end commercial grade and barely can get dirty out. Maybe if they would allow for more than a 35 minute wash cycle that would help. Thank you so much!

Clean, well provisioned, good location

We are a retired couple in our 80’s. We have stayed at different places on Maui a number of times over the years. We like the low (2 story) type of resorts with open lawn areas best. The ground level B112, with ocean view, suited us perfectly. Being located right next to Napili Beach was great (no driving to get to the beach). We ate many meals at the unit and found it was well provisioned for our cooking needs (&BBQing). We only needed the air conditioner twice, as the fans and ventilation was fine. Conveniently located close to grocery shopping. Grounds and equipment are well maintained. We certainly enjoyed our stay.

Great Location in a Relaxing Resort

We had a great time at Napili Shores. I have stayed in these condos a number of times, but this unit has the best location. We loved sitting on the lanai watching the ocean. Loved stepping out into the garden setting and wandering up to the pool or to the beach. Everything is close at hand. The condo was clean and the owners responsive. Lovely breeze that flows through the unit, but there is AC if too hot. We only used it on low at night. A couple of things to be aware of: - No oven, but microwave/convection cooking in unit and BBQ pit very close by - The bedroom king sized bed is firm and comfortable - The two pull-out beds (one single and one double) need to have new mattresses as they are thin, misshapen and not comfortable - There are no cards or games, so bring your own

Amazing location and Outstanding communication with wonderful hosts

This review is a little different then the norm, Our family of four (12 & 13 yr old daughters) arrived the day before the devastating Maui Wildfires in August 2023, we lost power and all communication for four days. Christine (Host) was amazing and was in constant contact to make sure we were safe and tried to help with an evacuation plan. She went above and beyond, we are so thankful for her help. Regardless of the circumstances we had a memorable stay at this beautiful ,clean, well-appointed condo. The condo is fully stocked with everything you would need. Comfortable beach chairs(4), umbrella, boogie boards(2), beach towels(4) and sand toys. Our favorite beach is just steps away and the location can't be anymore more convenient. Please don't hesitate to book this gem. We look forward to visiting and staying in Christine's slice of paradise again soon. Aloha!

Another Amazing Stay!

This is a beautiful place to stay! We returned to the same condo since it was so beautiful the 1st time! The owner was wonderful and friendly and wanted to make sure we had an amazing time. She even contacted us to see if we needed anything and called after our stay to see how it was. We will continue to stay in the same condo, as well as continuing to recommend it to our friends!

Great Beach Condo

This is a nicely renovated and maintained condo in a classic older complex. It has a great ocean view and one of Maui’s best beaches is only out the gate and down the stairs. Plus you can monitor the line at the wildly popular Gazebo restaurant from the lanai. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone that wants a cozy, classic Maui experience.

A Fun & Idyllic Spot on Maui

My daughter and I spent a week here and couldn’t have been happier. The condo is pristine with high end furnishings and a beautiful kitchen. The view from inside the unit is wonderful with a vista that extends across the ocean to the shores of Molokai. As beach-lovers, we were blown away by the location. The condo is situated on the nicest stretch of coast, steps from Napili Bay and a stunning coastal trail. Napili Shores (the resort) is a forgotten gem that’s well maintained and quite beautiful without being luxurious. We loved the friendly, low-key atmosphere, the open and spacious grounds and the larger than typical pools on the property. We could easily stay here again and again. We had a wonderful stay. Girls trip

We had a wonderful time an Napili Shores. The location on the property was perfect. We did have some trouble with the TV/WiFi which seems like such a small thing given we were not there to watch tv!

Great Location

The property was perfect for our stay. My wife and I wanted to be near Kapalua for a golf trip, but also close enough to walk to a nice beach. Napili Bay is a beautiful beach with a lot of turtles and whales within view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank You!

Perfect for young kids

We have 3 young children and this place was perfect for them. They were able to run on the beautiful grass and it was a close walk to the pools and ocean without being too close that I was worried they would try to go swimming alone. It slept the 5 of us comfortably and had everything we needed. We would absolutely return!

Well located Paradise

Wonderful stay

We have been to Maui and stayed in the Napili area many times. This is the first time that we stayed in this property. We really enjoyed it! The location is ideal - ocean view from the patio, near the beach, near the Gazebo. The space was well-done and attractive. The kitchen was very well stocked with plates, pots/pans, silverware, cups, and even some spices, etc. We brought a cooler so liked that there was an ice-maker too! We would definitely stay there again. Thanks!

Great Stay!

We had a great stay at this location! The ground level lanai was great for our kiddo to run around and close proximity to restaurants, the beach, and both pools! The unit had everything we needed. Would definitely come back and stay again!

Byron B. Alvarez and his wife Christine Vezies have been staying at Napili Shores since his father purchased a condo in the 70's. Their children loved spenting their summer vacations at Napili Shores.
Byron is a open water swimming enthusiast, and Christine is a retired American Airline International Purser.

Maui 'No Ka Oi' or as we say Maui is the best. After staying on all the islands of Maui then staying on all the different sides of Maui the search for the best island and best location came down to West Maui and the Napili Shores with its magnificent beach. While all around the world and all around the islands high-rise development has eclipsed the natural beauty of the beaches and palm trees. Not at Napili Bay. Building restrictions were put in place in the 1950's that no structure could be built taller than the palm trees surrounding the Napili Bay. See for yourself the natural preserved old Hawaiian beauty of Napili Bay and Napili Shores.
