Nestled in the Poconos, just 3 miles off exit 87 of the PA turnpike, you can unplug and enjoy nature’s peace and quiet yet enjoy all the nearest attractions! The house is located just minutes from Lake Harmony, Jack Frost & Big Boulder. The community has plenty to offer for summer activities with close access to its own large beautiful lake Towamensing which also has a pool and a beach!

3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a great open living space, this home will bring you nothing but smiles and natural light.

Other house amenities to enjoy include a game room, outside gas fire-pit and a jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom!

Men’s Retreat Weekend

Beautiful and comfy home and location tucked away in the woods near Jim Thorpe, PA - lots of room and bed styles for our group, game room and hot tub and well equipped kitchen made for a comfortable disconnecting - with quiet discussion, walks, and reading.

60th birthday celebration

This was the perfect house for our family celebration. Large enough for fun game nights and family dinners. We enjoyed a fun day in nearby Jim Thorpe. And especially enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after a chilly day outside.

Ski weekend

We loved our stay. My husband and I loved our private master room and bathroom upstairs. The Floorplan was perfect so kids could hand in basement which was very well-appointed. They played pool and basketball down there and felt like they had their own getaway. Hot tub was wond. We just loved the place and put it at the top of vrbo's we've stayed at - our typical way to travel. 100% recommend. woulput it at

Great getaway

Our family really enjoyed this home! Everything was as expected and the house offers such a warm feel to it. The basement was perfect for our teen who loves playing basketball along with board games. This home is the perfect getaway and our family loves it so much that we will likely book again in the summer months.

Lovely Home

the home was comfortable and beautifully decorated, very simple with plenty of room to easily store our belongings. kitchen was fully stocked with coffee maker, microwave and plenty of dinnerware and pots and pans. would stay here again....location is excellent and very peaceful and quiet.

One of the best properties I’ve ever stayed

Staying at different BnB and VRBO properties for the better part of the last 10 years this is by far one of the best. From the layout of home to above and beyond amenities (hot tub /jacuzzi TVs in every room with cable + streaming ) to the little things like a built in child guard on the top of the deck steps.truly a lovely home and look forward to coming back next year!

Jim Thorpe area trip

Great house and a great neighborhood. The house was super clean and the amenities are great. Plenty of smart TVs. Very nice hottub and grilles. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. We did a few hikes at Lehigh Gorge and Hickory State Parks. These parks were within a very short drive of the house. We took the scenic train ride from Jim Thorpe. Highly recommended And biked the D&L Trail- outstanding.

Great for Families

Even though we hit a cold week in August, there was plenty to do. Hiking in Hickory Run State Park and a train ride in Jim Thorpe were both hits with the kids. The house was clean and cozy, with everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

We had a blast!

It rained nearly the entire stay BUT the game rooms in lower level, whole house Sonos, and hot tub kept us happy! The house was immaculate and had everything (including the things we forgot). A great property and location.

Mountain Winter Getaway

Excellent. Home was so clean (one of the cleanest we've ever had) and great accomodations. 2 families of 4 fit perfect. Kids had a great time in the game room and nice big kitchen table for board games together. Game room has nice pool table, basketball game and video football plus fun board games. Host was prompt for any questions we had. Love this place and would definitely want to come back.

Fantastic home away from home!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay here! The house is extremely clean and spacious. We loved the hot tub and fun basement games! It was an easy drive to both Blue Mountain and Camelback. We created great memories and would absolutely stay here again!! Thank you!

Can’t wait to go back

We have stayed at several properties in the Poconos and are always hopeful we find one that we want to come back to. This was the one. We loved the location, basement with pool table and basketball game, loft area, exceptionally well stocked kitchen, and the fireplace. Such a cute place. Pics dont do it justice. Had a couple hiccups at check in and owner was super communicative and responsive. Hope to go back!!

Nice home, poorly stocked

Nice rental home but poorly stocked as we had NO gas for the grill or for the gas fireplace outside. Needed to Purchase gas for the grill so we could use it but not re-embursed. Ice machine not working in refrigerator so we needed to buy bagged ice entire week. Owner said he would get the ice machine fixed later. Wanted us to place garbage in special bags ( I think they were blue) but none there. Was not communicated to us that we could NOT use the pool or lake as both had bacteria.

Clean and comfortable escape

The property is well kept and very clean. Everything is exactly as described in the listing. This is our second year staying in this community and it is perfect for our family with beach and pool access. We had great weather for most of our trip but on the one rainy day the basement game area was perfect for both the kids and adults to hang out and play pool and pop a shot basketball. 10/10 highly recommend this home away from home!

Nice Week Despite The Rain

Just got back from our stay at this lovely home. It rained all week but we managed to keep busy. The house was as described. Large enough for the five of us to have our own space but not so huge that we felt separated. A couple of small things that didn’t really bother us and was not the fault of the owners. Empty propane for the grill but it rained and we didn’t use it anyway. It was a great week and the home is beautiful. The lights around the porch add a nice touch Would definitely recommend.

Anfitrión: Angela Wilson

Chris & Angela Wilson reside in King of Prussia, PA with their 17 year old son and two boxers, Lito & Bubba. Chris went to Upper Merion High School and Ang went to Plymouth Whitemarsh. They both went to Millersville University where they remained friends for years. They reconnected at the Eagles home opener, on September 16, 2012. 4 years later to the date, they got married on the Chesapeake Bay, in a small town called Havre De Grace, where they spend their summers.

For as long as Ang has known Chris, he always talked about having a mountain house someday. They both grew up skiing and spending winters in the area so it was a no-brainer that Albrightsville was the perfect place to purchase! We hope you enjoy the house as much as we do as we have already created so many happy memories there and we hope you do too!

We fell in love with this place the moment it popped up on Zillow back in 2016. We were looking for a 2nd home and this one spoke to us immediately. We love the open floor plan, the natural lighting and just the whole vibe. The basement is a huge bonus as most of the houses in that area do not have one. We love that it has privacy but also close to all the attractions that Albrightsville has to offer!
