Welcome to The Otsego Lake Vacation Rental Home. Whether you are into Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter activities our vacation home has you covered. During the Summer enjoy the benefits of fishing, boating, swimming or playing on your private 85' sandy beach. If golf is your thing, there are many top rated courses with in miles of your vacation home. If it is winter sports that you enjoy, you are located within minutes of the snowmobile trails and within miles of several ski slopes. Whatever the season, you will enjoy yourself in Northern Michigan!

THE PROPERTY
This cozy house, located in the snow belt and a local golf mecca, is the ideal size for families, friends, or couples traveling together. With brand new mattresses in all 3 bedrooms, as well as 2 bathrooms, the property offers an array of sleeping arrangements that can accommodate any group of 12 or fewer.

3 Bedrooms: Master Bedroom: Queen Bed | Bedroom 2: New Full / Full Bunk Bed with Twin Trundle | Bedroom 3: New Full / Full Bunk Bed with Twin Trundle - All sheets and blankets are provided.

2 Full Bathrooms: Both Bathrooms have shower/tubs - Wash Clothes / Towels are provided.

Kitchen: Large fully equipped kitchen including Refrigerator, Stove, Microwave, Coffee Pot / Keurig, Pots, Dishes, Utensils. Everything that you need to prepare a home cooked meal.

Dinning Room: Large Kitchen table with breakfast bar off the kitchen island

Living Room: Large living room with couch and 3 reclining chairs. Flat screen TV with Cable.

Garage / Second Property: 2 car garage available for storing your personal equipment. Or plenty of parking for boat / snowmobile trailers.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

- Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathtubs / showers, 2 HDTVs, Cable TV, High Speed Wifi-Internet, DVD Player, Roku (To view your Netflix accounts), fire pit on the beach, grill on the deck, fishing poles, board games, in-unit laundry machine, Key-less Entry on all doors.

- 3 Adult Kayaks and 4 Kid Kayaks are included for your enjoyment. Life jackets are provided and are required when using kayaks.

- Fantastic Gaylord location surrounded by natural beauty! Easy access to hiking, fishing, kayaking, golfing, skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, ice skating, and more!

- Air conditioners, stay cool!

Another great stay

This was our second stay at the property. It has everything you need for your stay at the lake. I love that we can enjoy the beach area and the water with the kayaks and pedal boat provided. The inside of the house is great as well with everything we needed in the kitchen, comfy beds, TVs with cable and rokus to log into your TV subscriptions and great internet. We love this house and will be back again!

Great Family Vacation

Each year I like to take the family somewhere and we always have a great time. This year did not disappoint. Excellent location and property, amazing views, sunset, close to everything. Host was amazing and very communicative. Totally recommend this property.

Quiet, clean, relaxing! All we needed!

Our stay here was fantastic! The house was easy to get to and is close by to lots of places to visit and eat! Our stay was very quiet and relaxing with a fantastically maintained beach front. We will be booking again next year as it was a great time here!

Great place to stay!

We love Otsego Lake and it was great to find this place to stay. It was affordable and fit all 6 of us comfortably. Steve was great and always responded quickly to all my questions. House was just as pictured. House is stocked with pretty much everything you need. Check out was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again. ❤️

Yearly Family Camp

Very clean and comfortable! Kids enjoyed the water and all the beach toys and kayaks. Had our family over for a cook out on the deck overlooking the lake-was a great time, would definitely stay there again!

Winter lake stay

Steve is a very accommodating host, and the house had all the amenities and more to make our stay a success. He was very fast to respond to a couple of questions we had for him when we arrived, and we would definitely stay there again.

Family time

This was our 2 nd year staying at this property. It is always clean and supplied with what we need for a comfortable stay. The owner responds quickly to any questions. Close to Gaylord for groceries and just walking around and places to eat! We go to call of the wild every year— good for a rainy day activity! We love Otsego lake and the property has a dock for our boat! The state park beach is close by too! Lots of space for the kids to run and play on the proprerty including a big porch that goes across the house facing the lake with outdoor tables and chairs. We really enjoy saying here!

Wonderful stay!

The cottage was wonderful. My four year old loved the sandy beach area, we used the kayaks and the paddle boat on the calm days. We enjoyed the outdoor deck space and seating area for morning coffee and evening meals. Thr cottage was well stocked with appliances, utensils - eveything you could need for a week or long weekend. We already booked for next year! Just wonderful!

Our favorite rental property

This rental property is our favorite place to rent. We will be back time and time again. You can’t beat the beautiful sandy beach and lake access. There are so many amenities for the water in the garage and it makes for hours of fun on the water.

The vacation we signed up for!

This property had all the amenities that we needed and more. We loved feeling like we were in our own little lake house. We literally just had to show up with food and clothes and we were set to go. My granddaughter loved the sandy beach and smores by the firepit just like I did with my grandparents in the 80s. We will be back.

Another Great Stay!

As Always, Steve is great at communication! This was our 3rd Summer booking this house. We rented a boat and docked it right on the dock, used the kayaks and had some beautiful summer days and sunsets. Already Looking forward to our next trip :)

Otsego Lake Getaway

This home is a great size for a family, and the location is perfect. In my opinion, the east side of the lake is best…easy to get to and the best view of the sunset over the lake. The house is well-stocked with everything you’ll need. It even has electrical outlets with USB for easy device charging. Air conditioning is a nice plus, too. My family was very comfortable and we’ll definitely consider staying here again.

Cluttered house

The location is excellent if you’re there to enjoy that lake. Which we were there to ice fish. The house is cluttered with looks like garage sale items. There isn’t a open space on a wall. Yes it has everything you need but felt like you were staying at second hand store, or a hoarders house. Other then the water taking 10 minutes to get hot and the handle on the shower falling off. And the floors squeaking as you walk. It’s definitely overpriced.my buddy thought it was great, but he also lives in a trailer park. So it might be fine for most. I guess I just expect more. The host was very nice and very easy to get a hold of or to talk to you if need be.

Summer trip-up north

Had a great time at this cottage! Very clean! Enough beds for us all to sleep and be comfortable! Owner is quick to respond to any questions! Beach area was great for us to get some sun and the kids to play in! Nice fire pit area and wood was provided! We had a boat and the dock was nice! We are planning to come back next year! Washer and dryer was a great convenience and nice big porch facing the lake! Very close to Gaylord! Great place!

This is our 3rd year staying at Steve’s place. We keep coming back because his house is clean and right on the water. You can’t ask for more. To walk into a place that has EVERYTHING you need makes for a stress free week. We will be back again next year!

Clean and Nice!

Another great stay at this house! It's always so clean and lots of usable items! Close to town but it's so peaceful and quiet. Hands down the best VRBO we've stayed at!
