We had a blast it was the perfect spot for all of the family and the dogs. We have no complaints.

The cottage was nice, but the water had a bad smell, which made our stay challenging. Also we had trouble with the refrigerator being broken and some difficulty with toilets. The yard was lovely

Beautiful scenery. House is overall clean but needs some dusting and updated linens. The pontoon boat upholstery is worn in many areas but worked great. We enjoyed the kayaks and canoe as well.

Don't be fooled by the photos, this property is deteriorating, cluttered, and unkept.  We forfeited our entire stay including the money we paid the host due to conditions not as shown.Bedrooms were cluttered with cobb webs in the corners and bed linens were dated and need a good cleaning.  Towels also need a good refresh, old and on dirty shelves.  Light fixtures hanging out of the ceiling in the kitchen.Pontoon boat should not even be listed as an amenity; upholstery is all town down to the foam entire inside is sun damaged and disgusting! There are much better places to stay, save your money!

Hessel trip

Amazing location and property with incredible views in every direction. The set up of the house and porch are perfect. Lots of space for a big family or group. Great getaway for all of us.

Great Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Location was perfect, we were able to watch Bald Eagles flying over the bay every evening. If our travels bring us up to the UP again we wouldn't hesitate staying at this cottage.

Great location

Location is great as this property is located in the midst of travel to Canada as well as lower Michigan. The local quarry was our favorite swimming hole!

Great Cabin

This is our second time staying at this property. We love the location and the view. The cabin is clean and well prepped - everything we could have asked for.

Nice spot on the bay and river. It was quiet but still close to St Ignace. House had everything we needed. We enjoyed the deck, big yard, and firepit. We have made many trips to the UP and finally got the see the northern lights this time. We would definitely come and stay again.

Loved the house, property and location. Very peaceful. House was clean and it had all the essentials to include a nice washer and dryer. We enjoyed the view of the bay. Great area to explore - to include Mackinaw Island.

The place was really large and so peaceful being right on the water. We did not use the pontoon or the kayaks. Our dog enjoyed staying there. We saw the northern lights one evening. Easy drive to Saint ignace for meals and to catch the ferry. Porches were great.

Very nice!

The property was very well kept and so cute and cozy! The location and views were amazing! I went with my family and my dad tagged along and we were all comfortable in the home (3 adults, 3 kids) would highly recommend this home!

Awesome views!

This is a great little cottage with awesome views of the Bay and Mackinac bridge. We visited in the cold March months so did not get to try out the beach and kayaking but after this stay we plan to return to the area and if available this property.

Great stay!

Very comfortable home with everything you need for a great stay. We traveled with our four Grandchildren and two dogs. Location was terrific for us. We took the kids to Mackinac Island, the Falls, the beach on Lake Michigan. We enjoyed St Martin's Bay on the pontoon and canoeing the Pine River. Our host was very responsive and we truly enjoyed our time there.
