"The Brown House"...Perfect for all things Laramie and beyond

The Brown House is located a short distance to the U.W. campus and the local downtown scene. It is also within walking distance of LaPrele park...the park is Laramie's largest with playground equipment, a disc golf course and Huck Finn fishing pond. The house was recently updated to include new flooring, open space and 4 large screen TV's, but still maintains the old school charm. The entire upstairs living area is all yours, along with a spacious back yard that includes a BBQ grill, picnic table, and hot tub, corn hole. The downstairs is occupied by one of the owners when not out of town working. The quiet and safe neighborhood are perfect for a weekend in Laramie... Whether it is to enjoy weekend games, mountain sports, graduations or even Cheyenne Frontier Days. The house sleeps seven...any more than that will require permission and rate adjustments.

The property was just perfect for our stay. So comfortable and quiet. The host was in touch with us to let us know the particulars and to let us know if we needed anything, just ask. We will definitely be renting there again.

The house was big, nice, and clean. The AC is only in the living rooms, and did not reach the bedrooms which was a little misleading especially when you have babies. The host leaves fans in every room, but the nights were very warm. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

Absolutely fabulous home for friends and family to gather at UW football game and festivities. Great hosts and beautiful location. Very comfortable setting to visit with friends and family.
We were even able to capture a perfect view of the "blood moon eve"

Glenna is a wonderful host. The house was very cozy and felt like home. If you come to Laramie, this house is really great. It was the perfect house for our Thanksgiving Trip.

The Brown House was very relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub almost every night! Very clean and plenty of space for everyone to relax. The host living there was very nice and respected our privacy. We really enjoyed the view and the access to the park. We would stay there again.

Review of Stay

Really enjoyed our stay. The property fit our needs perfectly and the hosts were exceptionally inviting and responsive. The house is clean and well maintained and we would be happy to stay again when we visit Laramie in the future.

This was a very nice home. We came up to watch our daughter graduate from UW. Then we spent a couple of days packing her up. "The Brown House" was very clean. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to anyone else who is planning a trip to Laramie!

Stay at the Brown House

Our stay was perfect for our family of 4! Very clean and comfortable home with plenty of space! Loved all the little touches throughout. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Laramie!

We are Second Generation owners. This property was built in 1967 by Glenna's dad. It was very well kept, maintained and cared for. We have updated the flooring, bathrooms, and bed rooms. All 3 owners live and work in the Laramie area.

In spite of being just a mile from University of Wyoming campus and sporting events, there are other fun activities even closer. Across the street you can frequently watch the antelope or deer roam in the large open prairie. Within a block is LaPrele Park. The park offers many activities, such as ; A disc golf course, playground equipment, BBQ grills, and the historic Huck Finn fishing pond.
