HORRIBLE BEDS

Both beds sunk in, but one bed was so bad you had to roll out of the bed onto the floor to get out. Even just sitting on the side of the bed, you were basically in the floor. It was horrible!!!! The pull out sofa bed was a joke. It was broken and dirty. We had to buy air mattresses to sleep on. The fridge didn’t get cold enough and the handle was broken so it was hard to open. The door didn’t lock unless you locked it from the inside so people had access to our room when we were all gone. The air wasn’t too cold either. Glad we brought our fans. Place needed new paint and the floors were greasy.we called for help the first night on the issues snd was told someone would be by to fix things and no one ever came or called back. Way overpriced for the quality. My family rarely goes on vacation so we were very excited, but we will never stay in this room again! Waste of money.

Decent Condominium

The master bathroom toilet was not clean.. so I had to clean it.. Better precautions and cleaning should take place due to COVID-19. Condominium needs to be updated and renovated but other than that our stay was pretty decent.

My stay!!

The cleanliness was horrible. The carpet was very nasty. The beds were trash. Mattresses sink completely in. The tub had backed up water that smells like raw sewage.

The condo was overall a nice place to stay. Extremely well stocked kitchen for cooking your own meals. Great view from the balcony. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Our only complaint was the beds. None of the beds were comfortable, but for a quick week vacation, they did the trick.

Complete review

We have a rather large family and it is often difficult for us to find a place big enough for all of us to stay during vacation. We have 6 children who are all in their teens! Overall this place was satisfactory and we would return without hesitation. There was enough space for everyone and having access to a kitchen and two bathrooms made our vacation much more enjoyable than ones we have taken in the past where we stayed at hotels. And just a helpful bit of info....park on the 6th floor of the garage, take the bridge to the complex, then use the stairs to get to the 7th floor. It'll save a ton of time and energy! I will go through the positives first. The location is great! From the front balcony you see the beach, from the back balcony you overlook the lake. There is plenty of wildlife in the lake to look at including alligators, turtles, and fish. The bridge around the lake offers an area for a nice walk. There were live musicians each night singing at the restaurant downstairs viewable from the balcony. There is a light show on the lake at night. It's a short walk across the street to get to the beach. Everything inside the condo was exactly like the pictures advertised. Enough cookware, dishes, tissue, laundry detergent, and dishwashing liquid were supplied. The room was clean and smelled nice. The wifi would not work initially but after a quick call to vacasa they had it fixed and working. Location is within walking distance to walmart, a convenience store, several places to eat, and multiple recreational places. The pools are nice. Everything was in proper working order. Check in and out procedures were clearly provided and were contactless. Security on site. Room was ready upon arrival. Now the negatives. The beds are horrible! Both larger beds are caved in on one side and the sofa bed was broken. Sleeping comfortably was difficult for everyone. The complex only has 2 sets of elevators and the wait time for an elevator typically exceeds 20 minutes. Be prepared to either waste a ton of time or walk quite a few flights of stairs if you go anywhere. Very few trash bags were supplied. Painters were working on the balcony throughout our stay although the schedule for maintenance did not include that unit on those days so several days we had wet paint on the balcony and strangers directly outside our window. This place is huge and is super busy all the time. There are only 3 pools, not 5 as advertised and they are all outdoors and usually crowded. Gate to private beach access was never locked so everyone uses it, not just people staying at condo. Private beach access does not include seating, beach chairs and umbrellas must be rented at the beach for an additional fee. This unit is located on the 7th floor which does not connect the parking garage to the complex. In order to get your belongings to/from your room and vehicle you either wait an extremely long time for an elevator or take it up/down the stairs. Only enough wristbands were supplied for each person to have 1 that has to be worn at all times, we stayed for 5 days, wearing the same band the entire stay was gross.

Great location…terrible unit!!

The location is absolutely perfect. The unit was disgusting. The cleaning crew should be fired immediately! The walls were even filthy! The beds were all old and squeaky. There were bugs where the bunks are. There were also stains on the pullout sofa cover and sheets on one of the beds.

Poorly Upkept Unit

The resort was in a great location and we enjoyed the ease of check-in and checking out, but the unit was very poorly up kept and disappointing. The mattresses on the beds were like sleeping in a homeless shelter so we had no rest while we there and half of the lightbulbs in the main living areas were out and no maintenance person ever showed up to assist even after we called as soon as we arrived. The extra pillows and blankets were filthy and the carpet had disgusting brown stains so we didn’t even want to walk around on this carpet barefoot. There were also stains on the sheets on the bed so we weren’t even certain that those sheets were clean and the unit was very dusty and obviously no attention to detail.

This property was great we had a really good time. Everything was clean and check in info was texted to us before arrival which was very nice! This was a girls trip and we were all happy with our stay!

Tragedy in beautiful area

Within our group we were rented three different units the other two units were beautiful rooms our room was horrible. In our room the walls doors furniture and fixtures were all very dirty in the kitchen the microwave Number pad was broken when you pushed it the panel sunk in. The threshold between the kitchen and living room was not there it was just open flooring the kitchen table chair one was broken and could not be used the living room sofa the springs were broken and if you sat on it you sunk. the master bedroom the box springs was broke. Pillows had been pushed under the mattress to lift it up which did not fix the problem at all the mattress still sunk in the master bath the toilet paper holder was broken only one piece remained on the wall and they just stuck the toilet paper roll on the one piece that was sticking out. the wall had not been repaired where it was broke. The carpet in the living room and master bedroom was extremely dirty and sticky. In the guest bedroom that bed was also broken. There were many other things that did not work such as lights and clocks. Overall I was extremely disappointed in the amount I spent to get a nasty unit that was at best a 2 star motel. I have pictures if you are interested. We booked another trip for June but will most likely NOT return to this site due to the dirty room and rudeness of security when we explained we were not given arm bands.

The queen size box spring was broken you could only sleep on the left side of the bed. Hair in the garden tub on our arrival. Also there was hair on the bottom of the toilet of the bathroom in the hallway. No oven mitts in the unit.

Property needs major upgrades

The locations was perfect. However the cleanliness of the place was just not there. The walls were very dirty. The furniture was very dingy and needed cleaning. There was also just a lot of wear and tear on all the appliances. The internet did not work, we had to connect to our hotspot all weekend. We tried contacting management, however we were not able to get in contact with anyone regarding this issue.

Hidden issues!! but nice

The home was beautiful and had a great view. It was clean upon arrival. My bed was comfy but others said their mattress was thin in the second bedroom. Master bath had broken toilet holder. Our microwave keypad was broken, and the first night there we had no hot water. The water issue was resolved quickly the next day. Other than the hidden issues, we had a great time.

Panama City beach experience

The bad.... There was supposed to be internet connection and the was no router on the property and no internet connection. I contacted the management company to fix the internet and was told someone would come fix it and no one ever showed.The beds were squeaky and uncomfortable. The dishes in the cabinet were dirty. The walls and floor were also dingy. There was mold in the shower. The chairs on the balcony were broken. The twin mattress you could feel the spring coils. We booked a 5 night stay for 4 people and we were left with one roll of toilet paper. The good.....The condo was in a great location and the view of the lake was nice. There was plenty of room for a family of 4.

My family and I really liked it and was a very comfortable stay. We like being on the 7th floor.

Renting this place went very smoothly. But we did have to wait almost an hour late to check-in. But other than that everything was good.

Great condo, but...

We loved the condo, plenty of room, but the WiFi did not work, a disappointment to my kids. The elevators where beyond ridiculous!!! Sometimes waiting 30 minutes to catch one. The mattress was okay, but after the first night it was somewhat uncomfortable. The elevators being our biggest problem!

Good property. Needs better cleaning service.

The listing was accurate and the condo was nice. It was not cleaned very well before we checked in. There was sand in the beds and the dishes had food residue on them.

Couldn't get in touch with vacasa

This property was very aggravating to figure out. The room itself was decent but I tried for hours to get in touch with someone at Vacasa to get another parking permit and wrist bands. We read upon booking that you could get all that from the security desk on the property but that wasn't the case at all, they were very rude with us. Not that it was a problem but we did more walking up and down the stairs because the elevators were so slow. Overall we had a decent trip, we just probably will not rent from this property again.
