Stunning Cabin With Modern Tops; Wine, coffee, stars, elk. Fantastic!

This beautiful newly constructed Overgaard cabin sits upon the side of a wonderful valley off the beaten track with views of the majestic alligator juniper and other fantastic pines of the area. We offer 3 bedrooms; a master with a king and each guest room with a queen bed (and a queen sofa for that extra couple of friends).
Great for the family get together over Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter; but also wonderful for a couples retreat to really find yourself. Spend time out on the wrap-around patio in comfortable deck chairs, explore the quiet neighborhood. Take the children out to nature, or let your dog be curious of the many smells the forest brings. Take a few moments to treat yourself in front of the fire inside, roast some marshmallows and tell those old family stories.
Wallaby Retreat will become part of your family history, as you and yours become part of Wallaby Retreat's.

Husbands Birthday

We enjoyed our stay at Jeremy and Deana's cabin, its a home away from home. The weather was great! Our fur kids had a blast and the fact that the yard is fenced is a BIG plus! We will definitely come back next year.

Dog friendly nestled in the Pines!

We loved our stay at the Wallaby Retreat! It was comfortable for my husband and I, but I think our dog Samson enjoyed it the most! He loved the dog beds but mostly loved laying on the covered porches in the cooler weather watching nature. He also enjoyed the fenced in area to explore. We have a tough time finding properties for us to share with our large dog so we are super grateful to have found your gorgeous home! We highly recommend to those with dogs, and those without! Thank you for a wonderful escape from the Valley heat!

Special Retreat in Heber

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cabin! You could tell immediately that the owners put their heart into the design. Nothing was missing and the feel was very cozy and comfortable! Everything you need is there! The wrap deck is amazing and the fenced yard for our dogs was perfect! The dogs had a great vacation too! We look forward to staying again in the future! Beautiful place for some RandR!

Beautiful home

This was one of the best VRBO homes we have stayed at. The kitchen was outfitted with everything one needs, lots of very nice towels and linens, a wonderful deck with patio furniture and a large fenced yard for the dogs.

Heber Cabin

We have stayed at this property 3 times now and just love it! It is so nice and clean and has everything you need. The owners are wonderful and so helpful. We never want to leave! Wonderful place to stay and highly recommended.

Escape from the Heat

Perfect

This was just what we were looking for! Our dogs and kids loved every minute and so did we! Of all the properties we’ve stayed at this is our favorite. Super clean, comfortable. The hosts were quick to respond to our questions and also gave us a great option to get our dogs into some nearby water! We can’t wait to come back!!

Incredible Cabin!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay here at Wallaby Retreat. Immaculately kept in every way! We were so comfortable there we didn't want to leave. The kitchen is well stocked, we had everything we needed and then some. The linens are luxurious, thick soft towels, soft sheets and the mattresses are dreamy. The wrap around deck was definitely our favorite spot. We spent most of our time out there, from dining, BBQ, games and just relaxing on the comfortable furniture watching the fireworks. We had a fabulous weekend. We're already planning our next trip back. Highly recommend this place!!! We'll be back again and again. Thank you for such a wonderful, perfect weekend!

Great family getaway

Wonderful home! Just returned home after a week stay with my husband and our kids. The house feels like new and is very nicely furnished. Comfy beds, linens, etc. We cooked all our meals and all of the appliances worked great. The weather was an amazing retreat for us coming from the valley, making a perfect summer getaway. The AC also worked great when needed. Fenced in backyard was perfect for our dogs. We hiked a lot and left many maps on the cork board upstairs for future visitors. It’s a very easy 30 minute drive to Show Low and about 45 mins to Payson. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Awesome!!!

What a beautiful home! The owners have done a wonderful job creating a home where you feel relaxed and comfortable! Nice furniture and beds, extremely clean, lovely luxury touches! My family and I loved our stay! The deck , the neighborhood, everything. Owners were easy to get in touch with when we had questions. We hope to be back soon!!!

Family Trip

The house is very nice. Great yard for kids and dogs. Very close to forest service roads for spotting wildlife and exploring. Very nicely appointed home. The reviews of the quality of the home and the well stocked kitchen were very accurate.

Beautiful and Relaxing Home

We loved staying at this home. Nice and clean. Such a beautiful home in such a nice area. So many fun things to do. The home is well stocked with everything you need and the communication was easy. We loved to be in the cool climate and enjoy so many fun activities like fishing, ATV's, kayaking and hiking.

Dad's 80th Birthday Trip

This was by far one of THE BEST stocked and clean places we have stayed and we have stayed all over the place in several states and countries. It totally fit what we needed and some of the stuff I normally pack and drag around wasn't needed. Beautiful property, dog friendly, very clean and easy to deal with. We will be back!

Wonderful Birthday Weekend

We stayed here July 12 and absolutely loved the home. It was perfect for our fur babies. The yard was completely fenced in and the patio deck was enormous. We sat on the patio at night and played board games. The beds are so comfortable! The kitchen was extremely well Stocked and everything is basically new. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we come to Heber. The owners were so easy to deal with. They left dog beds (even though ours had them) doggie dishes as well as water bowls and even dog treats. They used high end finishes and over all we loved staying here

Beautiful cabin

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay - especially loved the large wrap around porch and huge yard, both with latching gates to give our dogs options to play outdoors. The house is perfectly laid out with all the amenities we could have needed. We definitely recommend!

Great cabin!

I recently stayed at this beautiful cabin with my fiance and our dog, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners, Jeremy and Deana, were great and we could not have been more happy with our time there. We stayed for a weekend. Pictures are accurate of the property, and I have no doubts you'll enjoy your time at this incredible cabin. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. We will be back for sure! Exactly what you’re looking for.

Jeremy and Deana were wonderful hosts. We stayed at Wallaby for a Christmas vacation and it was perfect. The location is in a neighborhood but feels very private. There is a market one mile down the road with everything you would need, but the home was stocked with plenty of necessities. Even in the off season there are a couple good restaurants, my recommendation would be Casa Ramos and the Red Onion. Wild Woman Saloon is a great place to have a beer. The home is beautiful. It feels like a cabin with a modern touch. You will not find a place of this caliber that will allow you to bring your pups. Don’t ruin it, take care of the place. We plan to return if our plans align in the future.

Gorgeous! This new cabin is right out of HGTV!

My family and I, as well as our two dogs spent Thanksgiving here and really enjoyed it!. The cabin has everything you need including Alexa. We made smores under the stars one evening at the firepit. We tried an Escape room in Heber and succeeded. The cabin and our hosts were wonderful and our first weekend in Overgaard exceeded our expectations. Next time we head up to the area, we would definitely book again.
