. Great stay at this lake house. Beautiful views, a peaceful setting, and a cozy, well‑kept space. We loved mornings on the deck, evenings by the water, and having a private dock for swimming and relaxing. The hosts were responsive and thoughtful, making everything easy. Perfect spot for a quiet getaway.

It is not easy to find a single home that will1- Comfortably fit 6 adults and 7 kids2- Have a beautiful view of the lake3- Be thoughtfully laid out by the owners4- Offers all types of indoor and outdoor games. 5- Plenty of water sport supplies6- Has a great dock for swimming and fishing7- Excellent and responsive hosts. But Hyco Hideout met all of these needs.

Family stay

Hyco Hangout was a great home base for both local family and out of state family to get together. Overall the location and accommodations were perfect for our needs and we could definitely see ourselves coming together for happier times.

Lake life to the max!

Great house layout. Perfect size for 3 families of 4. Kids had a blast swimming, fishing, and tubing on the boat. Nice big boat to comfortably fit us all. Would definitely come back!

Hyco Holiday

Our stay was a delight. We live on the ocean but do enjoy lakes. Our four grandsons (7-12) enjoyed the boating and towing and trying to fish. The house was a perfect fit for our size party and well equipped for our cooking needs.

80th Birthday Celebration

We planned a trip to celebrate our dad’s 80th bday. It was so much space inside, but the outside space was even better. We had room to cookout, play corn hole, and relax. The boat already there for rental was so convenient. We all had an amazing time! We would love to come back again!

Modern House on quiet cove with lake view and dock

Overall we loved the property and had a great time. If you are bringing your own boat - you should know that this area of the lake is only accessed by traveling through a canal - after that you'll need to travel under a very low bridge to get to the main part of the lake. The water is 3 foot deep where you need to dock your boat and it requires some complex maneuvering to get in and out which was stressful at first. However, this part of the lake is very quiet and plenty big to wakeboard and tube - we never left it! We brought in all of our food and cooked all of our meals at the house. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked, plenty of bath and lake towels to use. Gorgeous grassy yard with flat area good for games and tying out the dogs. Used the firepit for smores (bring your own wood in).

We had a family group of 8 adults and 7 children. There was lots of space and beds to accommodate us. We enjoyed sitting under the true breezeway, set up our badminton set on the nice flat lawn space, and used the fire pit one night. Most of our time was spent in the large room overlooking the lake, with big windows to maximize the view. The extra kitchen space was most useful for a second fridge. Unfortunately the water levels are low so we weren’t able to swim off the dock at all (but obviously out of renters control). We did rent a boat one day and were able to dock it to come and go as we liked. The house was clean and simple furniture, so no clutter feeling. Thanks for the stay!

Hurray for Hyco Hangout!

Hyco Hangout was the perfect place for our family get together. *Everything* was amazing - the location, amenities, layout of the home, beautiful yard, indoor & outdoor seating areas, large family dining table, wifi, and views of the lake. Plus, taking the pontoon out was soooo much fun! We all loved our time there! Plus, Drew is an amazing host. He responded to all our correspondence quickly, thoroughly and pleasantly. We never met him, but felt like we were being taken care of by a friend..Hurray for Hyco Hangout!

Wonderful space

Beautiful lake views and a nice spacious house to enjoy it. They provide nice games, towels, and kitchen equipment to make an easy escape.

Great Getaway

We had a great stay. The property is beautiful and equipped with linens, games and books - we had a wonderful time. The owner was quick to respond and very friendly. The dock is peaceful. We found it to be a nice retreat for a few days after the holiday.

Sparrow Family Vacation

This was a wonderful place for our family vacation. We brought our own boat and was able to tie it up to the dock. We spent most of the days on the dock and enjoyed the lake. Drew was great to work with and quickly responded to questions. Look forward to staying here again.

Family reunion

Seamless check in/out. This rental house is great, has everything needed for a get away at the lake. All services functioned as expected, AC kept the group of people very comfortable Recommendation--5 star!

Perfect Property to Host Family and Friends for a wedding!

This property is beautiful, peaceful and spacious. Our son got married at the Gazebo at Sunset Ridge and we are from out of state. So we needed a place to house the groomsmen which the hut was perfect for and just a place for all our friends and family who stayed in a hotel near by to come visit and share a meal. We loved this house!
