The place really lives up to the photos. It was a beautiful place inside and out. Tranquil and private. Communication was excellent. This was a trip just for my spouse and I, but we are talking about coming back with the kids at some point.

We had a wonderful time. The fishing was great! Would love to go back in warmer weather. Unique beautiful house. I'd love to do some landscaping around it lol . But overall we had everything we needed everything was tidy when we got there. Very happy to have places like this nearby.

Excellent Stay

Communication between us and owner was excellent. There was information on the area attractions and dinner spots. There was also helpful information about the property as well. Loved this place. Would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic Stay - Highly Recommend!!!

Everything about the property was accurately described including the home's ambiance and natural surroundings. The house had plenty of supplies and was super clean upon arrival. Dylan provided excellent instructions and included plenty of information about the surrounding area. We had a great time and even saw a rainbow over the lake!

Amazing getaway spot!

This is a beautiful waterfront home. The location is remote and secluded which is exactly what we were looking for.We spent the majority of our time sitting on the screened porch just enjoying being away from the hubbub of real life.Everything from check in to check out was great. Communication was timely from the host and he is super helpful.We are already looking at our calendar for a possible Fall retreat at this home.

Very communicative host! The property is the perfect bungalow tucked away in the woods on a breathtaking lake. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. My only gripe is there were SO many bugs!! A huge red wasp, a cockroach in the kitchen sink in the morning, beetles of all sizes, spiders, so many! I realize it is a cabin in the woods, but maybe more frequent bug control would be helpful. I also wish the record player was functional as there is such a great collection of records! If you don’t mind bugs, this place is phenomenal!

Fantastic cottage!

This is a really lovely home. I stayed for two weeks in Feb. The home is well equipped and exactly as it appears in the listing. It is a relaxing spot in a beautiful setting. If there is one small drawback, the gravel driveway is steep and narrow. I managed it fine with a Jeep Grand Cherokee but it is a bit tricky. I would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Weekend At the Lake

Great house with everything you need at the property (no WiFi though which was just what we were looking for). Lake is quiet with a dock perfect for launching kayaks. Enjoyed a couple of meals in the kitchen. Bedrooms good size. Towels/sheets/toiletries included. A few cobwebs in the corners and paint chips on the one bed from the rustic ceiling. Good access to the research triangle less than an hour away. Would stay again.

Girl’s Getaway.

This was the perfect place for a group of five overworked, overwhelmed, ladies who were also overdue for a getaway. The space was cozy with beautiful views. Secluded, peaceful, and away from the hustle. The details of reburbished, reclaimed wood mixed with modern yet comfortable furniture was a perfect setting to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We took several of the suggested places to visit and we were not disappointed. Don’t let the backroads or small size of this sweet treasure fool you. There’s plenty of room to explore and things to do, no matter if venture out for stay right in coziness of the house. Book and enjoy!

If i could Give a zero star i would.. NOTHING like the pictures. In the middle of nowhere with no service & the internet wasn’t working, then it was roach infested & rat droppings around the dishes. Grass and weeds had overtaken the steps and outside. Obviously hasn’t been kept up. Then The owners only refunded half of my amount back when i shouldve Gotten a full refund. 10/10 horrible experience when it should’ve been a great experience for my 35th birthday .
