It's a short walk to the cafes, shops, antique and farmer's markets of the village, with an independent cinema, historical buildings and museums nearby. The Underground, a 5 min walk gets you into central London in 10 minutes, with access to Hampstead Heath's acres of natural parkland, around the corner.

Hampstead

Hampstead is a beautiful area of London. We were greeted by Grace. The house itself presents as stately. Inside, the furnishings in the common areas have been thoughtfully chosen. Our room was on the third level. Our bathroom was across the hall from our room. The bathroom was really small - it was difficult to use, sadly. We had been told we could use the second bathroom which was much larger but were not allowed because Grace was staying there during our rental time and only she could use the larger bath. This was a bit disappointing. Grace was extremely kind - during our stay she allowed us to have a package delivered and was there to accept it for us. She made us tea and coffee each morning, as well. We were surprised that the lower level rental is actually a permanent rental that is occupied. It has always been our understanding that a VRBO rental is the entire house not just a room, bath and use of a sitting room. We were thrown off by this occurrence. All in all this VRBO gave us what we needed, just wasn’t as comfortable as we wanted! It was close to tons of shopping and sightseeing with the great advantage of a train station being a 4 minute walk from its front door!!

Charming Hampstead home stay!

I stayed at Grace’s beautiful home with my teenage son when we were between properties. Grace is a wonderful and welcoming house and we felt so happy to have found her! The room is very bright and spacious with a gorgeous green outlook. Hampstead High street is moments from the door with all the fabulous stores and coffee shops in easy reach, as well as glorious Hampstead Heath. Thanks so much for your hospitality Grace, we would highly recommend you to all our friends visiting London.

Sophisticated tranquility in the heart of Hampstead

We stayed for a week in this gorgeous Hampstead accommodation and it was the perfect tranquil retreat for us at the end of our busy days sightseeing around London. Grace was a very generous hostess. From greeting on arrival, through to providing us with tips on what to see and where to eat locally and further afield - and even recommending a good barber! - her guidance helped us enjoy the pleasures of Hampstead and greater London just as the locals do. The location of the townhouse itself was a huge bonus, with the tube station just a few minutes walk away and all the appeal of the village and its cafes, boutiques, and historic treasures right on the doorstep. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed. There was plenty of wardrobe storage, and the bathroom facilities were of the same high standard and close to our room. We will certainly be recommending this beautiful suite to family and friends looking for a sophisticated alternative to hotel accommodation in this charming part of London. Thank you, Grace!

Incredible Stay & Host In Hampstead

My husband and I absolutely loved Our short stay here. The room was comfy, clean and the home itself was beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. We both just kept saying “She’s so nice, so helpful, so great” our entire trip. We’re planning moving to Hampstead and will definitely be back while we find a place to live. Loved the beautiful breakfast setup as well. Other reviewers mention the small bathroom. Yes, it is but you can use either one. I was able to take a long bath and then if I had to use the restroom in the middle of the night the small one is across from our door. It’s no big deal. The location itself can not be beat. Do yourself a favor and listen to all of Grace’s restaurant suggestions as she knows best! Don’t miss the Heath, as well. Bring an extra bag for the shopping you will surely do. Thank you for everything. Perfect Stay.

Cozy place in Hampstead village!

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Great location close to the tube station, shops and restaurants. The host was helpful and responsive. We would stay there again some day.

I adore cooking and exploring the local farmer's market. There is an independent movie theatre 5 minutes walk away, and some of London's most fashionable restaurants, shops, weekly farmer's market and cafes to enjoy, nearby.

I have grown up in this area and have lived here my whole life and it really is 'home' to me. This property is a Georgian historical Townhouse and yet has a contemporary feel as it is so light filled with high ceiling and such a lovely energy with its views of trees from the lounge windows. It is a tranquil respite from the urban energy of London. It is also in the heart of the village and so is surrounded by everything one could ever want or need.
