Miller Beach Getaway!

Escape to Miller Beach! This 4 bedroom house was completely remodeled in 2018 and has all the modern features of a great home for all seasons. The house is just 1 1/2 blocks from the beach. This light and bright open floor plan offers space for everyone.

The first floor has a Kitchen that opens to the spacious and beautiful Living Room and Dining Room. The Family Room is just a 1/2 level below, has a TV and fireplace and looks out to the large fenced in backyard. There are 3 Bedrooms on the upper level. The Master Suite has its own private bathroom, the 2 additional Bedrooms on the upper level share a Hall Bath. There is a bunk-room off of the Family Room that has 2 Bunks and an additional twin bed. Additionally, there is a large 3rd Bathroom on this level with two sinks, a shower and a bathtub. The house will sleep 14 people comfortably. Rate advertised is for up to 8 guests. Fees apply for additional guests. There is a recreation room with a ping pong table and a foosball. The back yard is large and has a gas grill and table and chairs.

Come back from the beach, cook your favorite meat on the grill or just hang out on the deck! Linens are provided.

Camera on the exterior of the property offers additional security.

Family Reunion #2

We liked it so much the first time, we came back again to enjoy Miller Beach and had enough space for everyone. The weather was perfect and there is always plenty to do.

Very nice, well equipped, very clean

Stayed with family on our yearly get together. Plenty of room for the 7 of us. The place is very clean and what you see in the pictures is what we actually got which was nice. Attentive host, great you can walk to the beach, and plenty of space to relax and chill. Would stay again.

Lovely house, great location

The house was comfortable, clean, and in the perfect location for our family beach/dunes vacation. It’s big enough that we never felt crowded. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great trip!

We enjoyed this beautiful house during a week long extended family vacation. The house was beautiful and within walking distance to the beach. We will definately stay here again!

Closing summer

It was our 4th or 5th year at Miller beach area and loved as we did in previous times. First time at this house and we really liked. Good location (close to the beach), the house was very comfortable, with plenty of space. We were a combination of adults, kids and one dog.

Great for families

The home was beautiful and a great space for our group of 10. There was lots of room to spread out and the kitchen was great and well stocked for lots of meals at the house. We loved how close it was to the beach and visited every day sometimes twice.

Nice home for our group of 6 adults and 5 children ages 15 to 3. We enjoyed the backyard fire pit for s’mores, walked to the beach every day, made 2 trips to Chicago, did the 3 dune challenge and the Diana of the Dunes Dare at the Indiana Dunes. A full week …Thank you for sharing your home

Great times & location

This home has an great open concept for everyone to engage. We really enjoyed the spacious deck which was nice day and night. The beach was wonderful. The home was more equipped than expected. We would stay here again.

Great home base for Volleyball Tourney

Great central location for getting to the various sports complexes our kids played at. Two families (4 adults and 5 teens) for very comfortably. Lots of space to spread out and/or gather together for games. Kids loved ping pong and piano and grown ups loved the easy access to the lovely beach. Margaret was very friendly, accessible and accommodating. House was clean and beautifully decorated. We had a really nice stay.

Great getaway at Miller Beach!

From the minute we walked inside we felt right at home! It was very clean and the layout of the house is very welcoming and open. The kitchen had all the necessities to make dinner and enjoy each other with plenty of seating. The hot tub was perfect with the waterfall and lights. It was a short walk to the beach where we enjoyed the day in the sun! We will definitely rent this location again if our travels bring us back up to northern Indiana! This was a mother / daughter weekend to remember.

Nice home layout and location

We had a nice time and the proximity to the beach was great. Communications with the host we’re good. The hot tub and furniture are getting some age on them but it all worked. The kids loved the ping pong and fooseball tables.

Lovely Miller Beach home!

This home was a five minute walk from the beach and we enjoyed amazing sunsets everyday! The layout and amenities of the home were perfect for family to meet and spend time together, both indoors and out. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard immensely. This is the second property that we’ve rented from this host-she’s great and very responsive.

As Advertised!

Everything advertised online in the description about the property is accurate. Great home for the family to spend the week. Can hang out inside or out. Walk to the beach is 5 minutes and not much beach traffic making for a relaxing experience. Will definitely look up this place again for our next trip to Lake MI.

Perfect place for a Indiana beach getaway

We really enjoyed our time at the house. We had the whole family (6 adults and 4 kids) and had plenty of space, and the multi-level was nice. We had a couple of small issues, but they were resolved quickly. The beach is super nice, not crazily crowded (even the holiday week) and as close as advertised. We easily walked down and back more than once most days. We used the deck and hot tub, too. Overall, a really positive experience!

Beautiful home & Beach!

House was exactly as described and was very clean and spacious! Great house for family time and playing games. Short walk to the beach which was very private and not many people there at all. Beach very clean! Would recommend bringing all of your groceries etc. as not many clean places in town to shop , but it worked! Took Train into Chicago for a day- very easy process and station very close to house. Definitely enjoyed our stay!

Miller Beach Get-Away

We enjoyed our time away at Miller Beach. The design of the house is lovely - very mid-century modern vibe which we liked. The ping-pong table and games were a real hit with everyone and provided some enjoyable inside time when the weather wasn't conducive to swimming. There were only 5 of us in our party but if you are coming with a larger group you might want to supplement with additional beach chairs and if you have smaller children maybe some smaller glasses for drinks as many of the glasses were pretty big. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Nice Spacious Home —super appliances!

This house is within a very short walk to the beach and easy drives to the State and National Dunes Parks. The hiking is fabulous! Beach, Dunes, forest and rare Black Oak Savana. There are not many dining choices nearby BUT the kitchen has wonderful appliances making dinners in the house fun to prepare. The local Jewel grocery has a surprising variety and quality of fresh food. Margret, the owner does a very good job responding to needs or concerns that come up. She clearly cares about the property and the VRBO guests.

Nice, spacious house

The house had a lot of room and the beds were comfy. We had a group of 5 adults. However, we were all uncomfortable with the lack of window coverings, especially in the master bedroom and bathroom. Standing in the shower and being able to see the neighbor's windows was strange. It was also quite bright in the mornings because there were no blinds. Kitchen was a nice size, but the pans were in really bad shape. I also got a bad burn on my hand because the potholder had a large hole in it, which I didn't know until it was too late. House was a good location for going to Indiana Dunes parks. There's also a nice disc golf course close by.

Really nice property

Overall the property is beautiful with really nice decor and amenities. Beds are super comfortable and the kitchen was really well appointed. There are lots of different areas in the house to congregate which is good for a larger group or family. Our kids especially enjoyed the piano, foosball table, and ping pong table! The location 1.5 blocks from the beach is amazing. We thought there would be more going on in downtown Miller but sadly the town looks pretty burnt out. You'll have to go further afield to find some nice restaurants and shops. The property owners are very nice. That said, we had a bit of an issue with one of the toilets not functioning and the response was slow and the issue was never resolved.

Excellent rental close to beach

Great rentals start with the owner, and this is no exception. She has excellent communication, clear procedures and reasonable expectations. A lot of thoughtfulness goes into this house.....fully furnished kitchen, excellent game room that includes ping pong, lots of board games, books and tv. Excellent washer and dryer. Comfortable tv room with Foosball, kids bedroom and large bathroom complete the lowest level. Huge open kitchen/dining area on main level, and three bedrooms on the upstairs. Comfortable backyard that includes hot tub, gas grill and large sitting area. The beach is a 4 or 5 minute walk down a quiet neighborhood street. Most grocery stores and dining options are 10-15 minutes away. Indiana Dunes visitor center is 15-20 minutes away, but there are many trails closer. Lighthouse outlet shopping in Michigan City is an easy 25 minute drive. We are glad we stayed and would again!

She is a mother of 4 children aging from 19-12. She has 2 dogs and several horses.
