This was a nice older home on a quiet street. It was very clean and had comfortable beds. Great location close to a beach and easy drive to Indiana Dunes National Park. The host was very sweet to leave us muffins for breakfast and responded very quickly to my questions.

There was a massive storm that hit the area 2 weeks prior to our arrival. This caused some plumbing issues due to the entire area being flooded. The home was clean, the communication with Heidi was top-notch! We'd highly recommend this house to anyone and we would be more than happy to stay here again. It's a very cute place and we enjoyed out time there!

Matt and their family are guests who make you happy to be a host. It was our pleasure to have them stay at our little place. Especially it felt so great that they had knowledge of and experience with the storm situation in Miller Beach -- we had trees downed and unexpected flooding. Matt and his family were just amazing. Very nice, spacious, clean house in a quiet neighborhood. It was everything we needed, and only a short distance from a lovely beach and park. Host was very good with communication. Would absolutely recommend.

The best host! We also were able to find an access point the beach that was just two streets over. Such a great time I’d love to go back. You will have all your needs met for sure!

The host went above and beyond, her hospitality was unmatched! The location is great, just a short walk to a beautiful beach. The house is cozy and has a great beach cottage vibe.

We had a wonderful stay! The homeowner was incredibly hospitable and communicated with us promptly and clearly. The home was cozy, clean, and perfect for our family getaway. We were especially touched by the thoughtful gesture of leaving fresh pastries for us upon arrival, such a warm welcome! Highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay again. Thank you for making our trip so special!

The Goldfinch is a great spot - quiet street and peaceful vibe, yet close to beach and eating/shopping. The kitchen was stocked with all equipment and utensils needed for cooking. The large table is perfect for sharing meals or playing games. The local bagels and cream cheese are the best plus we have experienced at a rental!

Great Home Near the Lake Michigan Beaches

Great vintage home with character and space. Has everything you need and more to make it a home away from home. Enjoyed being able to get to the beach quickly. Had smores in the backyard patio area with provided fire pit and wood. There are beautiful black oak trees and many other beautiful plants. And we even got the privilege to see an elusive Gary flying squirrel in the backyard oak tree. Heidi is a kind and generous host who left us some yummy bagels. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Cute cottage

My best friend and I came into town to stay for one night at this property for a concert. House was very clean l, very well maintained and the check-in and checkout process was really easy. The homeowner was very communicative and gave all kinds of information about the area so that if we wanted to do something else while we were in town we could. Unfortunately, we were only able to go to the concert. Stay the night and then leave the next morning. Beds were comfortable upstairs. We did not stay downstairs since we needed two bedrooms. There are two full bathrooms, which is nice.
