Prior to your arrival, your unit has been cleaned and disinfected using a professional Cleaning company, that specializes specifically in vacation rentals and Covid-19 protocols and guidelines.
We highly recommend that you bring your own PPE like masks (some local businesses may not let you in without a mask)
Also please bring your own hand disinfectant products.
Also please practice social distancing during your visit. Tofino is an amazing place, go out and explore the area! :)

This is a cute little 1 bedroom suite (queen size bed), that can sleep a total of 2 adults and 2 children with the living room futon. It has a full bathroom with a tub and shower and lots of space for parking up to 2 cars.
It's only a short walk to town and beaches. The very popular Brewery is also just a short walk away.
The unit has all linen and towels, a coffee maker, small fridge, stove, plates, cups cutlery, pretty much all the necessities of home etc...
If you really look hard through the trees, you might even be able to see the ocean :)

Had a nice long weekend staying in the suite. Good place to stay. I recommend bring your own toilet paper and soap. Those were the only things missing.

Disappointing

This rental needs some deep cleaning and updating. It smells musty and doesn't seem to have had much general upkeep over the years. I would spend my money somewhere else next time. Unfortunately, it was a disapponting stay for our family.

You get what you pay for

In a town where you spend very little of your time in your room, it does the teick without breaking the bank. But overall, the property has a bit of Bates Motel vibe. There is an adjacent property that is a bit run down, there are diacarded household items in the yard (there was an old chair laying out) and some odd aheds half-hidden jn the woods.

The property manager was fast to communicate and try to mitigate problems however the unit had a strong musky smell for our stay, there were exposed wires coming out of the wall at the entrance (I believe this was maybe the spot for the fire alarm as there was not one in the unit.), the back deck where the bbq is was unusable and very unsafe and the tiles on the shower did not appear to be grouted properly. They provide many pamphlets and information for guests to easily plan their outings. Check in and check out was very easy. Although the driveway is quite hidden the manager gives a good description making it easy to find.

A good getaway.

It was a little tricky to find at first as the Canadian flag wrapped around the pole was hard to spot with its aging and wear. Once we got used to it, then it was much easier.

There was no wifi as promised which was important to keep in touch with work while away, the accommodation was over run with moths for the first couple of days until we caught and released them outside. Sofa had a large tear in it. Not sure if this a legal suite as no venting is present in the house, required in kitchen and bathrooms, so boiling water for tea set off the smoke alarm regularly. Owners were not present to communicate with about the issues. Would not stay here again or recommend this accommodation in it’s current state.

Perfect for a family of 4

Super convenient spot with everything our family of four needed for a 4-day, 3-night visit to Tofino. Very comfortable Queen-sized bed for the parents, and a new IKEA sofa-bed for the kids. Well-stocked kitchen for our breakfasts in, but with all the great dining options in town, we ate out for every lunch and dinner!

It was clean, easy check-in, lovely 0.8 km walk into Tofino. Only suggestion, sheets for pull-out couch.

Excellent!

We loved the place, a short walk to downtown, very centrally located. Fully equipped kitchen and everything we needed for a comfortable three night stay with a family. Torben was a gracious host and we appreciated his help and advice.

This unit served us well as a place to explore and adventure around Tofino. It's a small but functional space and very close to both the town and beaches.

Has everything you need

Communication with mgmt was very smooth. We needed to check in a day early and check out a day earlier than planned, he was extremely accommodating. Stayed here with my 1.5 year old and husband, more than enough room for us. We walked to town multiple times a day, one way is a 2-2.5km walk so can get tiring at times. But we enjoyed the distance! One thing to note, hot water- only enough for one person to shower. We ended up taking turns, one of us in the AM and one in the PM. Would stay here again!
