Located in the spectacular world renowned Chesterman Beach area of Tofino, this lushly landscaped 1/2 acre property sits atop Chesterman Beach's natural sand dunes formed thousands of years ago by the pounding surf of the Pacific Ocean. The Dunes Cabin is a modern 2 bedroom home boasting a well equipped kitchen and large private deck with outdoor hot tub. Both bedrooms feature queen size beds, down duvets and 43' flat screen televisions. Your custom bathroom with large dual shower, relaxing furnished deck, stainless steel BBQ, patio and soothing 4 person hot tub, makes for a perfect getaway. Whether you're looking to enjoy a romantic escape with your partner, or getaway with some family or friends, the dunes is the place for you. The Dunes Cabin also features free wireless internet.
This location is very private and is within 2 min walking distance to Chesterman Beach. Consider it your own private boutique hotel.

Quiet and secluded

Extremely peaceful. Close walk to beach. Easy access to downtown Tofino. No complaints at all.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Dunes Cabin. The private location cabin was perfect for our family to relax and spend time together. The proximity to Chesterman Beach was fantastic and allowed for us to walk back and forth between the beach and home numerous times a day with our children. All the amenities were as described by the hosts and we enjoyed the comfortable beds and hot tub. appreciated rovided by the hostwas perfect for

Another amazing stay at the Dunes cabin. All the amenities needed for a perfect stay. Comfortable beds, large kitchen and open living room with cozy fireplace. We loved the deck and hot tub especially on rainy days. Easy walking distance to Chesterman Beach , beaches groceries, and an awesome bike and walking trail that stretches for miles . We loved our stay here!

Beautiful Chesterman Beach

Comfortable cozy lots of room for 4 people, perfect for our stay. Hot tub was amazing, comfy bath robes, but there were only two and there was four of us. Loved that there were rain coats and gum boots in the closet although not needed for our stay, but the games and cards were a bonus and well used. Really appreciated the added touches. Excellent location, less than 5 minute walk to beautiful Chesterman beach, few minutes to Outside Break Tofino where you can get amazing food from Tacofini and delicious ice cream from Chocolate Tofino, two favourites, and it’s a quick drive into town. Did have a question for the owner but didn’t get a response in time. Would loved to have stayed longer and would definitely come again.

This is a great little cabin. While the grounds outside are somewhat overgrown with moss and ferns, this does make it a more private space. The hot tub was amazing and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable as well. The couches and chairs in the living room are very uncomfortable and should be updated. Otherwise, a great stay and wonderful location just walking distance from Chesterman Beach.

10 magical days in The Dunes Cabin

We were really lucky with a full week of windless sunshine late November in Tofino; then some (expected) rain! Our cabin had everything anyone could want, at a great location minutes on foot to either North Chesterman beach or Beaches complex, with an amazingly well-stocked convenience store (the teem doesn’t do it justice), excellent coffee shop, two great restaurants, chocolate shop, surf shop, bike rentals and yoga studio. We rode to Ucleulet one day on the paved (awesome) multi-use trail, had pole at Ukee Poke (excellent), went back to Ukee for a magical dinner at Pluvio, walked about 100 km of beaches, surfed, shopped, hot-tubbed (every day). We thoroughly enjoyed our cabin and would highly recommend it to anyone! Carla and Pete

Get away

Wonderful property. We enjoyed the private hot tub and close proximity to the beach. More comfortable chairs/couch for enjoying our evening glass of wine would make this a 5 star rating.

Great Getaway

Our Tofino stop was 2 days of our week long trip to the Island and definitely the highlight! Wish it had been longer. Dunes cabin was perfect! Location great for us as beach so close. Seemed so secluded with all the trees/greenery. Loved the hot tub and the coffee beans/grinder ready to go. Bedrooms spacious enough. Kitchen amenities good. Washer and dryer useful as we were a few days into our trip and needed to use. Thanks!

Perfect location

The Dunes Cabin is ideally located in Tofino. It is only a short walk to Chesterman Beach as well as the multi-use trail and some great eating options. There is a free shuttle to downtown Tofino (summer months) and the stop is a short walk away. We would stay here again.
