Overpriced for what you get.

The condo is dated with some recent renovations that help it be liveable. The bathrooms could use some work. The location is nice being so close to the public access. The pool is nice. It worked for our family and friends but for the price we paid it seemed a little lackluster.

Great location but….

We found that they did not vacuum the carpet, it also needs some maintenance on the ceiling of the living room, kitchen and floors, the masters bathroom needs some updates. Location is great, you can just cross the street and the beach is there. We might come back but not to condo#20, for the price we paid you can find newer or renovated condos in this same area.

Great location! Steps to the beach, walking distance to restaurants, and great walking/biking path. The bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable.

Great location, needed repairs, not clean

The location is absolutely great! Great view of the beach. Literally a minute walk to the beach. Directly across the street from beach! Unfortunately the condo, was not very clean. The toilet seat was broken. The blinds in the master bedroom had pieces missing. We found these pieces in the second bedroom closet. I was concerned that people could see through the curtains. because of the missing blinds. The rod to the blinds was bent, which made it difficult to close the blinds. The linen and decorative pillows were not clean. We found hairs and crumbs on the linen and pull out couch. There were clothes inside the couch also. The appliances were not clean. I did make management aware of the issues. They were nice and cooperative. Within a couple of hours they brought clean linen. They did repair the toilet and the blind rod. But the blinds still wouldn’t close completely. I suggest they do a full inspection during the time housekeeping comes in. If the condo was cleaned thoroughly, it seems like they would have noticed what was broken. Overall our stay was great because of the location. I would stay in this complex again, but NOT THIS condo because of the lack of cleanliness.

Good place to stay and great location

We had a fun stay here overall, but there were a few issues that made it a little less enjoyable. Issues such as showers not draining, ants in the kitchen and cleanliness overall and the doors to the balcony are very hard to open so we weren't able to utilize them as much as preferred. However there was a good amount of beach/pool toys that were left for us and we left ours which is what seemed to be what others had done. GREAT location for the beach and other amenities.

Fun location

Everything went very smoothly! Fyi for the owners, dishwasher is not secured into the cabinetry, and both patio doors need some wd40, very difficult to open and close. We had a nice time, the AC worked well, enjoyed our time!

easy short walk to beach

We loved the 2 king bedrooms. Downstairs twin trundle was also comfortable. The access code to the door was problematic. The 10 digit code was difficult for all to remember. The door shut while we were moving in and the phones and purses were locked inside. Luckily a neighbor president of the HOA assisted us with calling the owner multiple times. After a long hot 2 hour wait finally someone called on the alternative phone # to give us the code again. The owner was rude and did not relay the message timely or correctly. Luckily we walked to Pompano Joes for dinner since our keys were locked in the unit. Overall we loved the condo and its location.

Not what was expected:(

I booked this condo online based on pictures shown and reviews. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed when we arrived to see that the condo was not guest-ready. Because of COVID, we were told we had to check in 2 hours later than normal and check out 2 hours earlier than normal. Because of that, I wrongly assumed that the condo was being cleaned to a deeper level. The first surprise was walking up the stairs to see ripped carpet. This was surprising because the listing online said this unit was "newly renovated." I'm not sure how recently it has been renovated. The decor was cute and "beachy" as shown online, but it was obvious that the unit had not even been vacuumed as we found lots of random things on the carpet. We then noticed that the navy couch in the living room had lots of lint or something all over it. We saw the same thing on the navy bedding of the daybed in the living room. We walked upstairs to check the 2 bedrooms and the bedding there looked cleaned. At this point, we were concerned that the unit had not been cleaned and we needed to take a deeper look as we were concerned about staying in a unit that hadn’t been cleaned. Here are a few things we found: *Layers of dust on lamps and alarm clock showing that it hadn’t been touched with a duster in quite a long time. *coffee pot was dirty and looked like some type of mold was in the bottom of the carafe. *plastic trash in the bottom of the dishwasher *the couch in the living room looked dirty so we pulled out the sleeper portion and found that the mattress cover was VERY dirty and had not been laundered. This confirmed that no one would be sleeping on that bed! *the bathrooms looked pretty clean, but there was hair found in the tub and sinks. VFVR refused to refund the cleaning fee even though the unit had not been cleaned before we arrived. There are lots of rental choices in the Destin area and we will NOT be returning from a VFVR managed condo on our next trip.

Absolutely Loved

Our stay at this location was absolutely amazing. First and foremost, the communication with the property owner was simple, easy, and very timely! The property was very easy to locate. It was impeccable as far as cleanliness is concerned. It felt very safe. There was plenty of space for a big family. The decor was beautiful!! I did read some reviews about people having issues with the sliding doors. They are a little hard to open, but it was no big deal for us. We were shocked to find that they have an entire extra room near the parking area. It is filled with plenty of beach supplies!! The walk to the beach is short and we were even able to walk to a restaurant for dinner one night. There were only two small things that we found different than the listing. However, I did email the owner, to let them know about them; so the listing could have been corrected by now. It said there was a method to transport everything to the beach, and there wasn't one in the room. Also, the listing said there was beach towels, so we didn't pack any... But there was only after bath towels. Regardless, the stay was amazing. we had an great time. I would and already have recommended this place to others.

Perfect for small family vacation

There were six of us that stayed and it was the perfect size. We were able to enjoy quality tome together but not step on any toes.

Close to the beach

Nice 2 story property with close beach access. 2 big bedrooms with plenty of space for 6-8 people to sleep comfortably. Property was clean and quiet. Nice privacy and parking for 2 cars under the unit. Easy access to hwy 98 and convenient to all hot spots in Destin. Thanks for the fun week.
