Alpine Vista @ Trails End is located on 8.5 private acres at the end of County Road 89. This 2 Bedroom, 2 bath home is totally secluded from other homes and surrounded by BLM and forest service lands on most sides.

Alpine Vista at Trails End is a perfect choice for anyone that is looking for a little privacy and amazing mountain views. The home is located only 1mile from the center of Cripple Creek with unobstructed views of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range from the back deck and most windows.

The home has A/C, a gas fireplace, an outdoor jacuzzi, large back deck with propane grill and patio seating, pullout sofa, wireless internet, satellite TV, and a fully stocked kitchen. We pride ourselves in providing a luxury experience for our guests including down comforters with duvet covers (laundered for every rental), high quality towels and linens, and professional cleaning.

Walk out your door and enjoy Cripple Creek's new frisbee golf course, hiking paths, BMX track, playgrounds, etc. Cripple Creek is an OHV-friendly town so feel free to bring the all terrain toys, unload onsite and ride into town without hassle.

The home can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 guests in 2 bedrooms, 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and a pull-out double sofa in the living room. There is an electrical hook-up for an RV on the property and guests wishing to bring an RV can inquire about doing so with the owners. There is an extra nightly charge for this service of $50 per night.

Perfect Place

We absolutely enjoyed our stay - the views were amazing and Erica was so friendly and helpful. The cabin had everything we needed, and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the hot tub, and meeting the donkeys that live nearby. Cripple Creek is a great town to visit and this VRBO really “made” our vacation.

The views from the deck and hot tub are amazing! We loved our stay here. You are secluded and private just as described. We seen deer a couple of times. The kids loved feeding the donkeys!

Perfect summer retreat from Texas heat!

Wonderful views, so many sightings of animals living peacefully around us. I personally fell in love with the resident chipmunk family. The cabin offers all the comforts of home and then there is the added bonus of living in the alpine forest and being minutes from downtown Cripple Creek. This was our second time to stay at Alpine Trails and would love to return again.

Absolutely perfect! Cant wait to go back!

This place was like a home away from home. We had some confusion on the dates that were booked at no fault of the owners but they still went above and beyond to help us in every way possible. The views are absolutely breathtaking and the photos do not lie. My entire group will highly recommend this listing! We had just enough privacy to enjoy our stay but were close enough to town to get what we needed. Ps.. the showers are absolutely fantastic!

VERY Relaxing!!

Awesome views from the deck and hot tub!! We drove Shelf Road to the Royal Gorge and ziplined across. Lots of beautiful droves in the area. :) As tempted as it seem to just stay on the deck or hot tub, get out and see some of the area.

Great Place to Stay

This was a great place to stay. Very clean and well equipped for cooking, grilling, or any other activities at the home. It’s located just minutes from Cripple Creek and centrally located for day trips to Manitou Springs or Canon City. Erika was a great host and met us upon our arrival to be sure we knew how to operate the heat, hot tub, and other parts of the home. Lots of privacy, very quiet, lots of stars at night. This is the first place we have been to that we would consider returning in the future.

Relaxing getaway June 2019

If you want the best View in all of Colorado and privacy, then this is the place for you. The Home was perfect for our stay. The showers are awesome, the view from the hot-tub, actually the views from every window in the house Awesome! We seen deer while sitting on the deck. We seen Rams on a drive to Manitou Springs . Erica thanks for sharing your home with us. I highly recommend. Looking forward to staying again in the near future.

Chris loved hearing your feedback on the new showers as making sure each bedroom has an attached bath with fancy showers was one of his big renovation projects after we purchased the property. Cripple Creek Views!!

We had a perfect getaway at this retreat just outside Cripple Creek. The property was immaculately clean and we had everything we could want as well as space to put our things and groceries. We enjoyed the awesome shower and the fireplace very much. We were a short walk from where you could feed the donkeys (my boys LOVED this) and right next to that was a great park where the kids could get some energy out. The owner gave us some great ideas for local eats and nearby fun and from that we decided to take a day trip out to the Royal Gorge which was only an hour away! The best part for everyone was the hot tub...the views of the mountain ranges by day and sunsets were stunning, and the stars at night were incredible. We'd absolutely return.

Our Stay

This property is just fantastic with unbelievable views of the San de Cristo Mountain range! The accommodations are just supper. Absolutely the cleanest and well-organized property we have experienced in our 7 property rentals through VRBO. Erika and Chris - wow! Not sure I can express our thoughts in less than a chapter. Erica met us at the property to check us in and show us all the details of the property. We unfortunately had a slight vehicle issue but to the rescue came Chris and Terry - problem solved. Thank you for a great 4 days at Alpine Vista at Trails End. We will most definitely return in the near future.

Perfect Hideaway!

This little house is a gem! Upon first glance, this little place doesn't look like much, but we were surprised by the amount of modern amenities included, especially for how remote it is. The house was immaculately clean and the hosts were also wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is so peaceful too! We hardly heard sounds of other people the entire time we were there. There are beautiful views from every angle outside and we spent a lot of time taking photos of the landscapes, flowers and wildlife. Our last day there, a herd of elk walked straight across the backyard! We also enjoyed exploring the the nearby hiking trails (make sure to feed the donkeys and watch for red tail hawks, and prairie dogs!), as well as the nearby town of Cripple Creek. The location also serves as a perfect hub for accessing the endless supply of surrounding area attractions. I could go on and on. All this to say, we would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Incredible Place!

Just completed a four night stay with my 18 year old son. The cabin and property were even better than in the pictures! Erika was great with recommendations of places to visit and drives to take. The views were breathtaking and the privacy was exactly what we were looking for. I can't wait to go back again!

Perfect getaway!

This home is the perfect getaway for couples or families! We have stayed twice at this location, once in the winter and once in the summer! Both times have been perfect! The house is located in the middle of everything you’d want to do! The owners are super sweet and helped with any issues/questions we had! Recommend 10/10

Perfect location for everything!

My wife and I brought 2 friends with us to stay at this cabin for 7 days. It was very roomy for 4 people and could’ve had a few more comfortably. Cabin had everything essential needed. Location is absolutely amazing, close to an awesome town but a feel of your the only cabin out there. Very peaceful all day and night. 10/10 would recommend staying here. Will be back.

Awesome Property!!

Me and my wife loved the house! The views from the back porch were amazing, and the house was super cozy and clean! The hot tub was a super nice way to wind down after a day of hiking and exploring, and it was honestly our favorite part of the stay! The house is far away from any other houses and has lots of privacy. Overall, the stay was so nice that me and my wife want to go back in two years when I graduate college! We HIGHLY recommend the property!

Great home great views and Privacy!

Me and my girlfriend stayed for 6 days and we had a blast! Explored the back yard with over 8 acres you won’t reach the end! Most of our adventures took about 1 1/2 hours to 2 but the views to our destinations couldn’t be beat would definitely stay again. The homeowners helped out a lot and made it very easy to check in and check out! Would recommend staying here.

Quite and peaceful

Wife and I spent a week there in August. Property was perfect for us. Erika had everything in perfect shape and responded quickly to questions. We especially enjoyed the view, the grilling, and the hotub on the back deck. The “quite” was great. The only sound was the breeze through the pines at times. The Colorado fires to the west randomly sent smoke that hazed out some of the more distant views but at times the scenery was spectacular. Weather was perfect. My wife loved the showers in both restrooms! The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We saw deer and smaller critters daily. Because of covid we did not spend time Cripple Creek. There is plenty to do in the area. We enjoyed backroad scenic drives. We highly recommend this property.

Highlight of our Vacation

We enjoyed your house and property, it was one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was perfect and the Views, oh my goodness! Erika was very attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend booking this property. If we ever come back to this area, we would love to stay again!
