45 miles West of Colorado Springs/7 miles Northwest of Cripple Creek, 2000 SF on 3 levels, gas log stove + baseboard heat, washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, 3 TVs with streaming/DVD/VCR, stereo. Large master loft bedroom overlooks the great room and has private upper deck. 6 person hot tub on large wrap around deck, BBQ grill, patio furniture. 8' pool table walkout (Lower level partial finish), log accents throughout. Full kitchen/DW/microwave. Built 2004 with large prowfront windows.

This cabin is secluded at the end of a cul-de-sac on top of a knoll with fantastic views from the Great room, Loft & Deck of the Sangre de Cristo, Collegiate and Pikes Peak mountain ranges, Mount Pisgah included. Tastefully decorated throughout, hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings. Romantic get away for two, or share with the entire family. Enjoy the gas fire place with a good book, or stargaze in the hot tub after a long day of sightseeing. Cripple Creek historic district with gambling/restaurants, Arkansas river rafting, hiking national forests, nearby ski areas.

For guests traveling by air, Colorado Springs Airport is highly recommended. Slightly more expensive but DIA is 2-1/2 to 3 hours travel time one way.

Exactly what we were looking for, peaceful, beautiful and relaxing! The home had everything needed to enjoy our stay. Hot tub at night with a sky full of stars was amazing! Host was excellent, checked in with us to make sure we had everything needed!

Mountain dream cabin!

The place was absolutely perfect. Stunning views from every angle. The hot tub was a huge bonus. The house was clean and well stocked. Would stay here over and over again.

Mountain escape

Awesome cabin up in the hills and out in the country. Close enough to town, but far away that it feels like a getaway. Mule deer, prairie dogs, and more in every drive to and from town. Mike called twice to check on us after a delayed flight left us checking in late. He was also quick to respond to any questions we had. Wonderful experience. We’ll be back.

Great views in mountains!

Great views and secluded area. We enjoyed going into cripple creek area and seeing so much history. Hot tub at night was beautiful to see the stars.

This was a great spot to spend our honeymoon. it was peaceful and quiet. You kinda have to do some map searching to find things to do but that adds to the adventure. We definitely enjoyed every minute!

Mountain top dream vacation

We absolutely loved every second of our stay at this house, the views were awesome from the deck and the hot tub, the pool table was a great perk for after dark as well, we felt like we were at home it was so prepared...thank you so much!!!

This cabin is so cozy and peaceful. The views are absolutely breathtaking! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from it all and reconnect with nature. We definitely plan on returning.

Maximum Relaxation

Spectacular cabin in the mountains. Easy to access, clean, great amenities, roomy and comfortable. Close to attractions. This cabin exceeded our expectations! We give it 5+ stars.

Sweet getaway from Denver

We had everything we needed at this beautiful getaway. The view gave us lots of eye candy before we went home. Very close to Cripple Creek. You can relax or go enjoy the town and explore. Beds were comfy and everything was clean. We had a good time!

Excellent Stay

Beautiful scenery and well maintained and stocked property. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening and hiking during the day. We would definitely return. Really enjoyed all the bears throughout the cabin.!! We saw deer, turkey, and even a skunk, I think. We brought our dogs and they really enjoyed long walks.

Great vacation

The property was beautiful and the owner was very nice and any issue we had he was willing to come straight over to fix it. This was the best stocked home we have rented and we have rented several..the home really made us feel like we were the only ones around. I will diffinately be rescheduling another visit

Perfect secluded romantic getaway

The views and solitude are unmatched of this location! Mike was an amazing communicator and really cared about how things were going. The inside of the property was clean, well-kept, and well-stocked. Our only complaint would be the comfort of the couches and upstairs bed. Overall, we loved this place and will return if we come back to Cripple Creek.

Everything was as expected and better. Great host, I’ll give him 5 stars as well. Had a great stay at a great property. Even had a herd of mule deer that n the yard this morning. Absolutely loved the house. Highly recommended! Hot tub was excellent during the snow storm.

Peaceful relaxation

We had a great stay. The location is very-private and the property was amazing. The views are unbeatable. The peace and quiet were exactly what we were looking for. Star gazing from the hot tub was great. The kitchen and everything was very-well equipped - we had everything we needed for meal prep and such. The Internet service was good (50mb+) - more than enough for any video streaming or remote working needs (although we opted not to even turn on the TV or check-in on work, while we were there). Our lazy old dogs really enjoyed laying-around on the expansive deck. We have stayed in the same area before and knew that it was the off-season, but there are still a couple good, dog-friendly breweries and some restaurants with dog-friendly patios only a short drive away (our dogs go everywhere with us). The neighborhood is well-plowed in the winter and the roads are in good shape, but you may need a car wash after, if its mud/snow-melt season. We wanted to stay longer and would love to stay again sometime.

Nightmare Owner

The home itself is beautiful. We accidentally showed up on the wrong day. The owner showed up with the Sheriff's Department. After it was clear to all that it was a simple matter of miscommunication the owner wanted to Sheriff Deputy to arrest us and told the officer to "throw the book at us". The Deputy said that it was out of his hands, that the owner had provided us with the lock box code and they didn't have any reason to arrest us. The owner told us we weren't welcome and to never come back even for the dates that we booked the trip. The Sheriff's officer escorted us of the property and advised us not to come back.
