The Roadrunner Tiny Cabin at Palo Duro

Beep beep! Come stay in the Roadrunner Tiny Cabin. Located just 1 ½ miles from the entrance to Palo Duro Canyon State Park, this vacation rental is on the doorstep of the second largest canyon in the United States! Our cabin offers a unique getaway, surrounded by the West Texas landscape and its amazing wildlife and views. Enjoy the beauty of country living, with the convenience of the town of Canyon just 11 miles away.

The Roadrunner is a small cabin, approximately 12’ x 12’ on the inside, with a 3’8” x 12’ covered front porch.

It is furnished with a twin-over-full bunk and sleeps 3 people.

It has a bathroom with shower and toilet, kitchenette with mini-fridge, sink, microwave, and coffeemaker, and outdoor area with gas grill. It has a window A/C unit and heater.

Linens and dishes are provided.

Coffee and snacks are provided.

This is your chance to experience tiny cabin living at its best!

The Roadrunner tiny cabin was the cutest and cleanness and the perfect size for a single traveler as well as a small family. Tracy the host was phenomenal in her personality, ability to give assistance just all the way around a perfect place to stay.

The quaintness of this place is unbelievable and you can use the surrounding grounds to meet neighbors and eat outside - suggest bringing bug repellents for outside dining. Since we got one of the smaller cabins, and it was exactly what was advertised, by the way, and perfect for just our needs, spending most of our days at the park. Proximity to park was excellent!!

I loved the whole experience; the host, Tracy, was so nice. I had a barbecue and enjoyed it with the little lights and the cozy private spaces you have. The cabin itself had everything you want or need to have a pleasant stay. I will come back one day because this was just a wonderful time.

This is a lovely little cabin. Very efficient, cozy and tidy. The location is wonderful for quick access to Palo Duro and a little store next door. It was very windy, otherwise the little courtyard would have been lovely for sitting outside.

Perfect location for exploring Palo Duro State park. Our tiny cabin was clean and comfortable for our quick overnight stay. It included all the amenities we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Great little tiny cabin for a short little getaway!

Being a mile and a half away from the state park and other things to do around the canyon was very convenient. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much.

Everything was perfect for my stay there. Tracy was friendly and made me feel welcomed. Clean and comfortable and hot water to shower in! Fit my needs after a long hike each day. Plus the proximity to Palo Duro Canyon was a huge plus! Could be there under five minutes. Will definitely stay there again! Keith

This place was such a pleasant surprise! I was just looking for a bed near the canyon, but I got a beautiful and comfortable cabin with a great porch and view. Highly recommended!!

Roadrunner Cabin

Tracy's place was perfect for our family members' stay! The location and set up of the various cabins was really fun for our family and others from our group. And the cabins were very comfortable. Highly recommend!
