Perfect central location for exploring the Kenai Peninsula. Approximately 85 to Seward AND Homer. 33 miles to the famous Russian River Ferry. 2.5 miles to Scout Lake for swimming and fishing. The location is beautiful and easy to get too. The hosts do an amazing job making sure you have everything you need and extras too. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

We spent several days in the Moose Cabin. It was delightful; reminded me of old Alaska. The host, Andy, was friendly and helpful; the room clean; the bed comfortable; the coffee he provided for the coffee maker was good; and the heater efficient. We would stay here again if we ever come to Alaska another time.

Great cabin

Very clean and had everything we needed. Easy access to good fishing and location was nice between Homer and Seward to be able to go to both places.

Very friendly hosts and within walking distance to the Kenai river. If we are coming back to Alaska, then this would the first stop.

Perfect little cabin for two

Such a nice stay at the Moose Lodge. The cabin was just what we needed for a few days in the area. It was clean, well-equipped for the two of us, and the hosts were very polite - even offering suggestions for fishing. We would stay again!

Beautiful little cabin with great access to fishing the kenai. The freezer on the porch was a huge blessing and everything we needed was within a few miles. Definitely will be looking to book again.

Great Alaska cabin

Second year staying and again we had an Amazing time. Andy is great and the cabin was perfect for our Alaska adventure. Perfect location for fishing at Morgan’s Landing. Thanks Andy, I’m sure we will see you again!

Perfect Getaway Cabin

This is the perfect little getaway cabin. Has everything you need in a beautiful location. Hosts were kind and communicative. They even worked with us when we had some personal issues come up

Nice location

convenient location if visiting Homer and Seaward. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay of two nights. I would recommend taking time to hike the Russian falls trail. It is bear country so be alert of your surroundings.

Great Alaskan log cabin.

Very clean, rustic and well maintained. Truly an Alaskan experience with moose and calf in the front yard. Hosts were very accommodating and helpful. They even referred us to a great realtor. Thanks for a great stay.

Business & Fishing

The cabin was great for us. Somewhat small but very functional. Close to town and quiet. Hosts were very nice to communicate with.

Adorable peaceful cabin

Shaena our hostess was amazing! The cabin was immaculate. It is a perfect getaway from the everyday life stress! Aside from being adorable you are literally a short step away from nature and all that Alaska has to offer.

Great simple property that is exactly what I was looking for! Quiet, nice walk down to Morgan’s Landing from the property. Has some quirks that come along with a cabin but that’s part of the experience! Highly recommend!!

Great, quiet, relaxing stay

I had a great time at the cabin. Unfortunately most of my time was spent working but the location afforded me the opportunity to go for quiet hikes and fishing in the evening and a day of fishing with a local guide. I will be back to stay again. Hosts were great! I have zero regrets and would recommend this cabin to anyone that is going to be in the area!!!

Quiet, peaceful and comfortable!

My husband and I enjoyed our 2 week stay! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It's less than a 1/4 of a mile to the river, where we enjoyed some salmon fishing. The bed was very comfortable! Andy, the host, was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had! I definitely recommend this cabin!

Alaska Trip

The cabin is a nice quite place to stay. Wasn't too far from all our fishing and easy to get to the main roads. It is a small cabin it was good for my wife and I. The kitchen isn't very well stocked, it would help to at least have a knife. Overall we were happy with the place for the money.

I have a large knife in each cabin. Sometimes items come up missing and this time I must not have noticed. Sorry for the inconvenience. I wish you'd have let us know, I'd have walked one over. Glad you enjoyed the cabin otherwise. Andy & Mia

Quiet end of journey

We chose this location as it was close to where our friends live. We had three amazing days at the end of our Alaskan tour to just relax and spend time with our friends. The cabin was exactly what we had hoped for. Everything was great. We will definitely recommend to others.

The cabin was exactly what we wanted. It is in the woods. Quiet. No television. Peaceful. We had wifi if we needed it. Easy access to main highway. We would definitely stayvthere again if in the area.
