Relax on your own private deck with covered gazebo and barbecue or walk down and fish from our bank. Fishing equipment is furnished for your convenience. Alaskan 'hideaway' vacation studio is fully loaded with a new queen bed, full kitchen, satellite TV, bathroom and wireless internet. A great value if you're traveling by yourself or as a couple.

Excellent spot on the river! Perfect location to explore both sides of the peninsula. Plenty of stores nearby Soldotna for groceries and fishing needs. Janet and Marv offered fishing poles,bag chairs and great spots to check out in Kenai!

Great place to stay in Soldotna and loved the river access!

My husband and I stayed here for a night and enjoyed making dinner and hanging out at the river. We used the fishing gear to fish for Pink Salmon.

Kenai River Front Studio

Nice and clean cozy studio on the Kenai River front with short walk to shore fishing. Very friendly hosts also.

Amazing location!

Janet and Marv were gracious hosts and the studio was cozy. We lucked out and saw a moose and her baby crossing the River the first night and a harbor seal swimming around the second night. Convenient location and great views.

Great hosts, amazing property, fishing fun.

Jan and Marv are excellent hosts. They had a cute sign waiting for us when we drove up and the experience got better from there. The fishing poles were a nice touch. The view is absolutely stunning. So nice to sit and have coffee and look at the Kenai river going by. Thanks so much for a great stay.

This place is on my REPEAT STAY LIST. Awesome location, Awesome view, Awesome a real refrigerator in our room. Karen and Marv will see us again. Hopefully many more trips especially when the salmon are in the back yard

Janet was an amazing hostess and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The cabin was clean, the bed was super comfy, and the views were epic! The washer and dryer was such a helpful addition for us during our long vacation. We had an incredible stay and will certainly come back if we ever get to visit Soldatna again in the future!

peaceful surroundings along the Kenai River

The Hosts were super! Friendly, helpful, warm. We just loved them and the place was awfully cozy and comfortable. We would have loved to stay longer. The BEST!

Great place

We enjoyed our stay. The property was as described, clean and check in was easy. Janet was in contact with us all the way through and they even had fishing poles for us to use. We would stay here again for sure.

Great communication. Jan was always available by phone and text willing to help. Bank fishing was good, not great; plenty of rods, nets, chairs, cleaning table,etc. long walk of 50 stairs down to the river. Two large chest freezers. Studio appt was clean and adequate, well supplied. Bathroom was very small. .

Wonderful spot on the Kenai

Beautiful location on the banks of the lower Kenai River. Checkin was easy and Janet and Marv are excellent hosts. Property is a private full suite with kitchen within a larger building. Everything one would need for a Basecamp to explore the Kenai and Kasilof River basins.

the room was small but clean and exactly as pictured in the listing. Everything we needed was provided and the owners who are on the premises gave us our privacy but are very friendly

Perfect spot

We loved staying here. We were able to catch our salmon limit every day right from their special spot. You don’t even need to get in the water to fish! The location was great and close to the grocery store and fishing store. I was able to message questions and get a quick response!

Janet helped us with an itinerary and made sure we were prepared for our entire trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better host! Great place to stay! Highly recommended! Clean cute studio decorated for the fisherman’s dream trip!

Short but Sweet

Sitting watching the Kenai river flow past, listening to the birds and the quiet of the morning in this very clean, comfortable place is good for the soul. Well kept, amazing views of the river, and everything you could need. I would stay here again.

Just a 3 hour drive from the Anchorage Airport, Homer is 70 miles down the road, Seward is 90 miles and only 1 mile from downtown Soldotna to your door!

Standing on your deck, there is not another building in sight. Just the bird filled trees, the beautiful Kenai River with all of it 's abundant fish, and the tops of the mountains towards Anchorage. Great hiking trails right outside your door or take advantage of the paved bike path that goes right into Soldotna. It is common to see eagles & moose along with other wildlife.
