This is a very popular family friendly resort, that also appeals to those just wanting to enjoy the Florida weather and spend time away from the cold north! Positioned on the shores of Lake Davenport, Bahama Bay Resort is within a 15-minute drive of Walt Disney World Resort. This family-friendly, lakeside resort boasts a full-sized fishing dock, a private sandy beach, and four outdoor swimming pools.

The buildings in this resort have been thoughtfully designed. No stuffy indoor corridors or elevators. The extra wide breeze cleansed landings and staircases allow for safe distancing and avoiding suspect surfaces. Individual condo entrances are spaced and so provide privacy and distance for you and your family. The resort provides access to four swimming pools meaning you can have fun without having to jostle and touch elbows of those not in your group!

Checking in is remote, contactless, easy and secure. Close to your arrival dates you will be provided with a code that will open the electronic lock on the front door. The code is unique to your stay. There is no hassle with safeguarding a key!

This beautifully appointed ground floor open plan three-bedroom and 2 full baths, split floor plan is laid with extensive ceramic tile. The villa is highlighted by spacious living and dining areas. Additional conveniences include a full kitchen, laundry facilities, and large bathrooms with walk-in showers.

Bahama Bay Resort features tropical nature trails, multiple sports courts, and a children’s play area. The on-site day spa offers diverse massage and beauty treatments. Free parking and Wi-Fi are also available.

Four Heated Swimming Pools & In-Ground Spas.
Bahama Bay has four free-form swimming pools, and heated in-ground spas, all featuring sun loungers, lush landscaping, shaded areas, and either resort or lake views. Swimming pools are heated seasonally to ensure a comfortable swim when the weather turns cool.

Children's Pool & Splash Pad
Bahama Bay also boasts a children’s wading pool...and kids can enjoy hours of entertainment at our recently updated Splash Pad!

Guests can choose between the property’s Tradewinds Restaurant & Bar or Mambo’s Poolside Bar & Grille, both serving international cuisine and a wide range of beverages. Room service is available.

Disney is 10 minutes drive away, Highlands Reserve Golf Club is only two miles from the resort. The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is ten miles away.

Un beau site

Le condo est grand et propre malgré que la cuisine commence à avoir de l’ usure . Il n’ y avait pas non plus de produit nettoyant et pas de linge à vaisselle ,mais il y a des draps et serviettes de toilettes et de plages Nous y avons séjourner une semaine après l’a tempête Irma et il y restait que très peu de signe de l’ ouragan . Les emplacements extérieurs et les piscines sont très bien entretenus .Les chaises longues sont propres et les aménagements paysagers bien soignés . Bref un beau séjour .

Great location but needs updates/fixes

This condo is in a perfect location for a Disney trip. The check in was easy and wonderful. The location of the condo in the resort is awesome and it’s first floor which helps tremendously. Lastly it was steps away from the pool which was nice!! Unfortunately upon entering the condo there was a thick smell of just moisture, it wasn’t bad or good just a smell. A lot of the condo is out dated but that did not effect our stay. There was a broken outlet in the master bedroom and the guest room had a broken bed frame. All of the towels were dirty looking and still damp from the washer. There were also no wash cloths. The last thing was there were items left in the freezer from the last guest and when I told the owner about it he said why waste unopened items. That’s just not my style. Overall it did get the job done and gave us a place to rest our heads. The owner was responsive but I didn’t receive any check out instructions until long after we left.

Orlando family vacation

Overall our stay was great. There were plenty of pool and hot tub options throughout the property. The location was fantastic. Just a short drive to all the Disney Parks, stores and restaurants . The only complaint was it didn’t seem super clean and was a bit dated. We brought our own towels and glad we did. There was a washer and dryer but the washer had mold. We also bought laundry soap. We ran out of toilet paper as we were provided 1 1/2 small rolls for a week. I would rent again though especially since I go in with the overall knowledge I have now. Check in and out process was very smooth as well. Hope this helps.

Underwhelmed

After arrival at the property we noticed several things wrong; there were a lot of broken items. The verticals blinds in the living room was missing more than half and the master had a few missing as well; being on the lowest level and facing the pool this made for very little privacy. The lampshade in the master was completely crumbled, there was a drawer cover in the one bedroom missing, all the tv remotes were missing the battery covers and the batteries for the living room and one of the bedrooms were dead. When I opened the living room couch bed it was extremely dirty; there was even a shirt in there left from a previous guest. (NOT in the bed it was under the cushion so clearly not cleaned. There is mold in both bathrooms around and near the tubs. All the cabinets have white duck tape to keep the layer of plastic on the cabinet. The master bedroom closet is so full that you cannot even put your luggage away. All of these issues were brought to the attention of the owner and he said he would look into and then quit responding. At the very least the batteries should have been changed out and the blinds should have been replaced; the other cosmetic items I understand cannot be fixed while we were there.

Weekend Disney visit

Convience to Disney and shopping. Quiet well manicured property. The only complaint was not enough towels but there was a washing machine. We would stay again.

Bahama bay review

Terry was very easy and convenient to work with! The only reason we dropped the score to 4 out of 5 is some cleanliness issues such as towels still being in the dryer, hair in the bathroom sink, and could use an overall better clean. The place was not extremely dirty but could use a little more care. We would have like to be closer to the pool that was open later. Overall we had a great experience and would choose Bahama Bay to stay at next time! Again, Terry was a great host and made sure everything was going smooth. Thank you!

Brilliant find

We had 17 nights here, 14 days at Disney parks which were only 20 mins away. Our accommodation was just what we needed, Trevor and his team have been a great help with anything that needed sorting. would highly recommend and will definitely go back .

Great 1st Floor Unit

Everyone enjoyed the days we spent at this wonderful unit. We only had one small issue with it not being cleaned yet when we checked in. We contacted the property manager and he sent someone right over. We went to the parks like we had planned and everything was cleaned and fresh when we returned. Like I said in the title it’s a great unit. Nice tile floors throughout, modern high-end furnishings,and beautiful decor. Big hits were the cool art work on the walls and giant tv in the living room. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely rent again.
