Waterview luxury condo in gated resort close to theme parks with NO RESORT FEES!

Private gated resort is located only short drive from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme park with abundant shopping at Champion's Gate Shopping center close-by. Unit is located a short walk from the resort's private beach and poolside restaurant bar.

Relax on the beautiful grounds with 4 luxury heated pools, dedicated children’s splash pad water play area, tennis/pickleball court, numerous charcoal barbeques, day spa, fishing dock and private sand beach with hammocks, padded loungers and sunshades. Stay active on the resort tennis/pickleball court, beach ping-pong table, poolside billiard tables & miles of walking trails surrounded by a nature preserve (be sure not to get close to the baby alligators, numerous birds, turtles or other wildlife within the resort as they are protected by law). Tennis & pickleball equipment is available to reserve at no charge at the resort front desk. Bahama Bay is presently rated on TripAdvisor with four stars and it is recognized as one of the nicest locations in Central Florida.

The onsite Tradewinds restaurant and poolside bar is open from lunch and dinner 7 days a week. The on-site Cenote Day Spa offers a variety of luxurious massages, facials nails and body treatments.

Our condo features numerous amenities, beautiful views and the three bedrooms sleep up to 8 people comfortably on two queen beds with upgraded memory foam mattresses, two twin sized beds plus a sleeper sofa in the livingroom. The two full-sized bathrooms each include a shower and 2nd bathroom shower features low step in height.

Interior furnishings, décor and appointments have been upgraded to Wyndham platinum level for a very comfortable stay and enhanced appearance.

The two sliding glass doors in the living room and master suite open onto screened-in balconies with beautiful water views. The second floor location provides greater privacy and superior views.

If you decide to enjoy a meal in the condo, the fully equipped kitchen makes it easier with a variety of cooking utensils, plates, glassware and cutlery. Equipment includes full sized refrigerator and oven. Use the blender to make your favorite cocktail to enjoy on the private patio!

NO ADDITIONAL RESORT FEES!!!

The washer and dryer provides an easy way to launder any clothing if you choose. We do have a No Pets and no smoking policy. Unit includes baby high chair at no charge.

Great condo with everything you need!

Condo and grounds were exactly what we needed for our stay. The host immediately responded to the questions we had and the view of the lake was great. We hope to stay again next year!

Florida getaway

The resort was awesome. Communication with the host was very good. The condo itself is dated but that would be reflected in the price, lower than a lot of comparable units.

Good atmosphere!

We enjoyed our stay even tho the weather was cold. Just a short walk to the pool and restaurant (good food) close to Publix and other food places. Had a few areas with cleaning issues but host was prompt to get it resolved. Would stay here again. Beds were very comfortable! Unit was roomy, kitchen had what we needed.

Overall the listing was exactly as it said it was. There was an issue with the washing machine but the host sorted it for us and was so easy to communicate with. The property was perfect for our family of 5 and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place

I was out in Florida for a conference, and it was really nice to be away from all the hassle and bustle of Disney World property, even though I did spend a few days there.

We had an amazing time staying at Bahama Bay. The place was very roomy, amazingly well stocked and clean. Awesome amenities. We will try for this place each time we are in town!

The unit that we stayed in was well supplied. We did have an issue with wasps in the enclosed balconies, but this was dealt with efficiently and effectively. We would definitely stay here again.

Family trip

Stayed with children and grandchildren, nice roomy condo. Traveled with 4 adults and 2 small children. Condo was roomy that accommodated all of us. Location in the resort was perfect, walking distance to pool/ restaurant. Location of resort was great, near all theme parks, shopping and restaurants.

Blissful

We wanted to stay away from the mania of International Drive and big hotels, this was the perfect solution. Roomy condo, everything we needed within it. 4 pools, a beach beside a lake, a restaurant. On average 25 minutes from Disney. 1.5 hours from Cocoa Beach, we managed to see 3 rocket launches from Bahama Bay (just check where East is and find a clearing)

Overall Nice Stay

Enjoyed staying in this nice 3 bdrm unit. Great views and location to pools and resturants. The beds were comfortable and no problems throughout our stay. The unit was clean however, the carpets could of used some cleaning before our arrival, and the vacuums didn't work very well. Overall though it was a nice stay and would do it again!

Overall

Overall it was in a great location, nice area, nice resort close to shopping and attractions. Amenities within resort were great and very kid friendly. The unit had a musty smell throughout our stay but we had fans on etc to mask the smell. All Pillows could use upgrading and not many towels so we were constantly doing laundry. Lots of blankets available. Would definitely consider booking again.

Great all around

Perfect for a family trip to Disney. Great price, great location, great communication, just an all around enjoyable experience. On a side note, I travel a lot, both for work and fun. I always have issues with pillows causing headaches, but not here Best pillows at a non-hotel ive ever had

Nice place but check-in nightmare

Cleaning crew didn’t clean place till after 9pm on arrival date No toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags…etc were left Entry code was changed on us while we were there and had to call host to get new code to get in Host did maintain contact and refunded me $150. Condo and community was nice

Great vacation spot!

Just got back from two weeks at this condo in Bahama Bay. We have been vacationing at least once per year at Bahama Bay since 2009. We really enjoyed our stay. Brandon, the owner, was very responsive and Juan, the maintenance guy, was a wonderful gentleman, and when we needed something, he came right away. The carpet was freshly cleaned the day before we got there. The beds were very comfortable. We bought our own cleaner and cleaned the bathrooms as soon as we got there, but we would do that anywhere. There were a couple of small issues that Juan came right away and fixed. Not luxury accommodations, but if you are looking for a nice place to vacation at a reasonable price, this is it! We would certainly stay there again! Thanks Brandon and Juan!!

Not as we expected

The code for residence was incorrect. Fortunately it was resolved the next day, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to go anywhere. House was not clean on arrival, there were still dishes in the dishwasher. Floor in the kitchen was greasy. Bathrooms full of mold. Bedding was dirty. Coffee machine still had moldy coffee from previous guests. We regretted booking 2 weeks. We bought disposable cups because everything was so dirty. Half of the hob didn't work. We only boiled water in a pan for coffee. Would be better off staying in a tent. Also saw a cockroach, but that is to be expected in such a dirty house. It's a shame that the previous reviews were high, because that's why we chose this house.

We had a great week

We arrived pretty late and the security guard and front desk were great. They understood we were tired and had had a long drive so they made it as quick as possible. The owner sent the door code ahead of time which was perfect and communicated with us our whole trip to make sure we were happy. We had a great view from the balcony, and saw plenty of gators. The one pool area we made it to was beautiful and not over crowded. Most of our days were spent at universal studios and it was an easy drive from there, about 20 min. As easy as it can be in Orlando traffic lol. We will definitely be back.

Decent Hub for Amusement Parks

The location is pretty good and provides decent access to amusement parks in the area. We went to Universal and Disney, both of which are reasonably close. My family of six stayed here, and the size was comfortable. There are good community amenities, which we enjoyed. The place could’ve been cleaner, though. The kitchen floor was sticky and the linens were not clean. The sheets in the pullout couch were filthy. Management left us only one trash bag, one laundry detergent tab and one dishwasher tab for six nights. Overall, it was an okay stay, but not sure we’d stay here again.

Condo was ok…

Listing said entrance on ground floor, it was not. When i mentioned it to the property manager he blew it off. Went back to look at listing, it had been changed. Bath Towels were old, had to buy kitchen towels as there were none. Air conditioning is set to not go below 72! It is a very roomy condo.

Very nice experience

My wife and I rented Brandon's three bedroom 2nd floor condo from January through mid April. The unit was just as described in the VRBO ad. It was very clean, well furnished and well maintained. It has two second story screened balconies overlooking one of the two ponds of which are well stocked with large turtles and small gators. At most anytime throughout the day you can sit on your balcony and watch one of several Gators laying in the Sun 75 ft away. The average Gator size is only 3-4 feet as they are removed from the property if they get 6 ft or more in size. There's a walking path around the ponds that total 3/4 miles for those who like a morning walk. We've stayed in many gated communities over the years and the Bahama bay property is the overall best maintained and landscaped of all the places we've stayed. All four of the swimming pools are heated and kept very warm. As a host Brandon was very attentive to our needs and quickly responded to our needs on the couple of occasions that we contacted him. We definitely recommend this condo if you're considering a stay at Bahama Bay. We've already booked for next year and are looking forward to January 2024.
