This completely renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bath home is perfect for a romantic weekend getaway or weeklong family vacation. Nestled in the protected shores of the Nantahalah National Forest, this home features a fully equipped kitchen, covered outdoor sitting area and a private dock and a brand new lakeside deck with gas firepit for 2022. A canoe, 2 kayaks and 2 stand-up paddle boards are at your disposal. This nature lover's paradise boasts miles of nearby hiking trails, fishing and swimming in the pristine waters of Lake Santeetlah. Peaceful sunrises and breathtaking sunsets will keep you coming back again and again. Be prepared to fall in love with this well kept
secret.
This pare of Western North Carolina was not impact in any significant way by tropical storm Helene and your stay should be unaffected as well.

Gorgeous lake, crystal clear water. Landscaping all around property is lush and beautiful. House is cozy, as expected and accurately described in the listing, but not lacking in amenities and very well equipped. Dock is a major bonus, in excellent condition and perfect launch spot for all the fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding we could squeeze into the long weekend. Would come back in a heartbeat (and kids are already asking to)!

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and it was perfect! Such a relaxing, peaceful, quiet location on the lake with an amazing view from the porch and dock. We took lots of naps out there.The house was clean and comfortable with incredibly easy access to the lake with the kayak, canoe, and paddle-boards. There are so many great spots to relax here!We cooked most of our meals in the kitchen but picked up pizza in the town nearby and had a nice dinner at Topoco Lodge. This cabin has everything you need for a nice getaway.We especially appreciated Marc’s responsiveness during the booking process and our stay. The entire week we were planning our future trips to this same place! We loved it so much and will never forget our week here.

We had a great time kayaking, relaxing and enjoying perfect weather. The house was well maintained, the outdoor patio was perfect, and we loved having easy access to grill. Check in and checkout were very easy, too.

This lake house had a stunning view! It was quiet, relaxing and serene. The house was updated and very clean. We very much enjoyed our stay and definitely hope to return. Communication with the host was prompt, accommodating and friendly.

This is a beautful small home on Lake Santeelah, very clean, upgraded. We enjoyed our stay here. Communication with the owners was easy and they very kindly accomodated a date change for us. We were surprised no to have a washer and dryer so we suggest just making that clear in the listing. Thank you!

Great little lake house

Perfect for us, super clean and decorated in detail. Probably the most comfortable bed I've slept on while on vacation outside of top notch hotels. Definitely want to come back.

Great Lake cottage!

This cottage is well furnished and well maintained. They furnish a nice dock and kayaks, a canoe and paddle boards also. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would rent this location again when visiting the area! Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful house and location

Our family of 4 had the perfect lake visit at this lovely home. We loved the boats, view, and deck. Close to marina and Joyce Kilmer Forest.
