Judy's mountain-top log cabin was a beautiful and relaxing retreat for our group of six. The house offered amazing views of the valley below and of the mountains off in the distance. We enjoyed the rustic log cabin environment and the wooded seclusion that it offered. We will stay there again in the future. Thank you, Judy, for all of your efforts.

We loved the peaceful, relaxing and gorgeous location off Wayah Road and the mountain view off the back deck was exceptional! The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The host, Judy, was quick to answer our questions.Coming from Florida, we found Stillwind Drive challenging but doable in our Telluride. I was glad we did not meet any cars coming and going as the drive is narrow and curvy and there are only a couple of places to let a car pass. There seem to be only a handful of cabins off Stillwind and only one seem to be occupied at the time so our chances of not meeting anyone were good. I highly recommend this cabin and look forward to staying here again.

Everything was perfect! This cabin was clean and cozy and offered the most amazing views in a very relaxed and serene location. The bird feeders are great touch as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again! Thank you Judy for hosting this beautiful property.

The cabin was well maintained and cozy. We loved the porch view. We mostly sat outside on the porch and played board games. There was a momma Eastern Phoebe bird with a nest of two babies in the awning of the porch which made for fun viewing. The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and other items. Communication with Judy was always fast and she was very helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Very homey stay with a great view. We had to carry our trash home with us since the dump was closed on Sundays. We had some hair on our sheets upon arrival and the grass was grown up around the fireplace. Otherwise, beautiful property and we had fun white water rafting nearby. The driveway is one way and steep fyi.

Overall cabin was clean but could use a good dusting,light fixtures to furniture. Grass was overgrown around fire pit. My daughter said upstairs bed was hard, probably could use a mattress topper. This is second year staying here and will continue to come back. Everything isn’t going to be perfect everytime. Beautiful views. Very quiet.

A little slice of heaven

We totally enjoyed our stay. The porch had the most beautiful long range peaceful views. The cabin was well stocked and our host was responsive. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway.

This cabin was cute and cozy ! The view off the back porch was amazing as well ! It was perfect for our week getaway to see peak colors. The kitchen is plenty stocked will all your basic needs to cook. Although I do recommend bringing your own spices if you’re particular about what you use. The host was 10/10 with communication and is very nice !

The view is worth the rental alone. Spectacular!

We had a very good week staying here mid July. The cabin is comfortable and well equipped for a vacation stay any time of year.

We love this property!! Such a serene, quiet, comfortable, cozy cabin with an amazing view. Love the back porch with rocking chairs and awesome farm table. We ate there almost every day. The surrounding area is just great for fishing, hiking, going into Bryson City or the NOC. So fun!

Great location for outdoor adventures.

Nearby you have Lake Nanthaha, Nanthahala River, Bryson City, hiking to observation towers, mountain biking and about 1:15 from Ocoee River. Beautiful country.

Yes, she was quick with response to question. Everything was as listed. Very clean. Be sure and get your instructs to get in before you get within about 30 minutes and there is no cell service to look.

Memorial trip

Our trip was to remember my son whose ashes were scattered at the waterfall on Wayah Rd. The cabin was a perfect pick for us and was wonderful with stunning views from the back deck. We appreciate the opportunity to stay at this beautiful cabin and it will definitely be our choice to stay every year from now on. It is close to the waterfall and we could visit often during our stay.

A little piece of Heaven !

I have stayed at a lot of houses in NC and the views from this beautiful cabin are one of the best ! The cabin has everything you need and the area is amazing. We took lots of hikes and a trip to Bryson Curtis a must!

Must stay at cabin, beautiful views, quite and peaceful.

We had a great time, went Trout fishing just up the road at a trout farm on Christmas Day and had fresh trout for Christmas dinner. We like the location of the cabin and the wonderful river just below that you could hear from the porch.

Breathtaking!!!!

The location of the cabin is Amazing!!! The beautiful Nantahala river, the waterfall, the mountain views and everything else. The cabin is fully equipped and it is spotless. Loved the decor and the coziness. Would definitely stay here again.
