Duane and Mary were wonderful to communicate with. The house was clean and had everything we needed. A 2-minute walk to the beach. Very relaxing! Loved having our morning coffee on the deck every morning, watching and listening to the waves. A quick drive up to Mackinaw City. Cheboygan Golf Club and Mackinaw Golf Club are both great places to golf.

It was a big, basic cottage. The front room smelled a little funky. Years of old, wet lake smell. Nothing fancy, but a nice place to stay. The location was great. We drove all over the place. It was a great base camp for us. The yard and the view were gorgeous. Sunrise was breathtaking. The host was available, helpful, and patient as I had some issues. The issues were all my fault and the owners were very understanding.

Our stay was amazing. We had a few questions before and during our stay, we had a quick response each time. The cottage had everything our family needed. The yard and fire pit were perfect for evening relaxing. The beach access was great. It was very warm the week we stayed but the cottage had several fans to circulate the air. Only complaint…Our family planned to use the futon for our teenage son but the mattress was very thin and it was very uncomfortable. He slept on the couch instead. Great place! We would stay again if we return to the area again someday.

The rental was very clean with a great view of Lake Huron and a perfect location for our day trips. The area was quiet and comfortable for two couples looking for another memorable vacation.

Great for a peaceful getaway: comfortable home with just enough space, and views of the water from almost every room. The bed was marvelously comfortable. Windows are solid, so it's wonderfully quiet despite the nearness of the highway. We enjoyed walking the trail across the road as well as the beach; had both more or less to ourselves even though it was a summer weekend. When weather turned blustery, the collection of puzzles came in handy ... even if the Petoskey stone puzzle did thoroughly defeat us.The location, between Cheboygan and Mackinaw City, was ideal for us. We recommend Cheboygan's Saturday-morning farmer's market: nice variety of vendors (do not miss the lady who makes sourdough - she's a master), and everyone was friendly and engaging. It's a delightful counterpoint to all the Mackinac/w hubbub.

Perfect location!

We really enjoyed the feeling of a woodsy secluded property with incredible lake views. Just a 15 minute drive to Mackinaw City was perfect for us.

Beautiful property, nice location

A lovely cottage, thoughtfully appointed. Great views of Lake Huron. Close to attractions and hiking and also wonderful to just relax in the peace and quiet.

Comfortable, clean house. Quiet, nice location.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The access to the lake was wonderful! The house had everything we needed during our stay. It was just a short drive to Mackinaw City and the ferry to Mackinac Island.

Nice House

This was a wonderful place to stay and host family during our son's wedding. Close to the lake which was delightful. Beach walks are so enjoyable.

Lovely Cottage

The cottage is very well situated, view and access to the lake . It is also nicely appointed, kitchen has everything you need. It made for a lovely stay ! It is near everything you want to see .

Comfortable stay in Cheboygan

A very convenient place for visiting many attractions. We visited Mackinac Island, Charlevoix, Alpena and Sturgeon Bay on day trips. House was clean and comfortable. Wood paneling, cabinetry and sturdy furniture brought back great memories. We loved the easy beach access. The views from the house were fantastic.
