Discover the beauty of Lake Michigan from this private and secluded beach property with nearby state parks, trails and Famous Mackinaw area. The house features a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor grill, two bedrooms with queen beds, two bathrooms, and a laundry room. Extra guests could use 2 built-in bunk beds, a love seat and a couch in the living room area and sunroom. Three kayaks and life jackets are available; fire pit and outdoor furniture on the beach to watch sunrises and sunsets, occasional Northern Lights, passing freighters and cruise ships and part of Mackinaw Bridge.

Amazing cabin with even better views. Got to watch the sun rise and set on the water and relax while the kids played. Great location close to Mackinaw but not too close. Kids can’t wait to come back!!

Very clean, comfortable home. It’s fully equipped with everything you need. The property is very private while being convenient to activities and shopping. Having a house on the beach is awesome!

Rental was VERY clean, right on Lake Michigan. Kayaks available for free to use in the bay. Rental was 10 minutes to Mackinaw City and right next to Wildlife State Park. Perfect location for people wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, a true piece of paradise. We will definitely rent again.

We enjoyed our trip significantly!! The place was beautiful and the view is amazing. The only minor disappointment was the beach has become overgrown with grass, weeds and is mucky. We had a great trip and would definitely recommend to others.

This house had everything we needed and much more! The kayaks were a wonderful plus.The lake view of sunsets was amazing. My only concern was in the advertising. It stated that it sleeps 8. There were 2 queen beds, a set of bunk beds, and a day bed. There were plenty of extra sheets and blankets so we put the eighth person on a couch. I highly recommend this Carp Lake vacation home!

If I could leave a 10 star rating I would! The place was super clean, plenty of towels, wash cloths, kitchen things etc. It was so peaceful and the view is amazing! The beach outside the house is perfect for viewing but not walkable, no fault of the owners, just how mother nature works. However there is a public beach 5 minutes away, that is not busy and feels like a private beach. It is a 15 minute trip to Mackinaw City, super easy drive, where there are restaurants and shops, and the ferry to Mackinac Island. Great place!

Was looking for a last minute getaway and stumbled upon this gem. Inside - everything was very clean, neat, and stocked with everything you’ll need, with the exception food and drink. Outside - great setting, great view of the lake, and quiet, a nice spot to de-compress. Less than 10 minutes to Mackinaw City and if Petoskey and Harbor Springs is your calling, a short 30 minute drive will get you there. The host was great and all responses were timely. I should add, there was no reason to reach out once we arrived at the property - everything was great. I would go back.

The property lived up to previous reviews. It’s not the most fancy property you’ll find but it was perfect for us. First and foremost it was clean, which is high on my list of things I want in a rental. The bathrooms are updated and extremely nice. My kids loved the bunkbeds. The owner has this place stocked with just about everything you would ever need. We didn’t use much but knowing it was there if we needed it was comforting. I would come back to this place without hesitation.

House was amazing. Clean, great location and most everything needed was provided. Bugs were horrible, but that’s to be expected this time of year. Lakefront at property was not the best, but we found a great public access area down the road. Wonderful time had by all!! Thank you!

My family (6 adults ages 25) chose to stay here for a 5 day vacation. We had an absolute blast and LOVED the porch looking out over the lake. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and cooking supplies, and the owners did a great job stocking the house with all basic necessities. It was a beautiful property and we enjoyed the privacy and location.

This cabin was perfect for our family of four! The pictures don’t do it justice. The entire cabin was very clean and well maintained. The two bathrooms are newly remodeled, spacious and beautiful! We loved the sun room for reading and playing games. The bedrooms had plenty of space and our youngest daughter loved the little bunk bed nook behind the tv area. The views of the lake were gorgeous and we even met a family of swans the first morning! Tips to know for future families: we were not able to swim or use the beach for rock hunting because it was too mushy. This is the natural landscape and no fault of the property owners. We drove down to the little beach down the road for swimming and that was perfect. The location is 15 minutes from the ferry to go to Mackinac Island, which was great. It was nice to be someplace more quiet and affordable, then drive in to the city. Highly recommend the horse drawn carriage ride!Get your souvenirs in Mackinaw City at Mackinaw Outfitters! We found things much cheaper than some of the other stores on the main strip. Mini golf was fun in Mackinaw City as well!Thank you for a great stay!

Great property

Loved this property. Very clean, it had everything we needed, only thing we would recommend is a CO detector in the home. Even though the add says no CO detector. Thank you for sharing you beautiful place with us!!

Lovely beach home

The home was very clean and comfortable. The sunrises were amazing.It’s unfortunate that the beach is mucky, we would have enjoyed it more if we could have gone into the water. We did find a beach a couple of blocks away that we did enjoy.The home is well stocked with everything we needed.The bugs are pretty intense at times, bring your bug spray!

Very beautiful area, close to dark sky. Had all needed amenities. Close to Wilderness State Park, Mackinaw, etc. the only concern, some window screens were missing or had holes. They may have been stored away for the end of season.

We had a wonderful experience at this house. It is very clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen with just about anything you need. The wood burning stove on the porch heats the porch up really nice on a cold night. The area is remote and very quiet. Minimal light pollution; we were hoping to see a lot of stars but unfortunately it was overcast every night. The beds are comfortable and we had no problem sleeping. The showers are nice with plenty of hot water and water pressure. We highly recommend this house and would definitely stay at here again.

The porch with the view of the lake was pure Michigan

We took a short family trip and spent all of our time at the cabin on the porch or asleep. The view was amazing for both sunrise and sunset. We saw sailboats, heron, an a bald eagle that landed a fish. We took the kayaks out on the lake. We played Euchre and relaxed as we took in the lake and all the colors of the sky. We even looked up to see the Milky Way and stars at night. The only downsides were the muck on the lakeshore and the mosquitoes...but those are all part of nature and the porch keep them at bay. The inside was clean and comfortable too!
