Welcome to The Country Cabin

Enjoy a beautiful cabin settled in the country surrounded by forest and wildlife. Very quiet and peaceful with a wonderful stocked, swimming pond. There is a queen bed in the upstairs loft, and 2 twin beds in the downstairs bedroom. Comfortably sleeps 4. The kitchen is fully stocked and linens and towels are provided. Close to Alfred University and SUNY Alfred. Many activities close by including Letchworth State Park, horseback riding, and skiing.

The home was very quiet being in a rural setting. The large yard and pond were very relaxing while having coffee on the porch. Home was clean and well maintained.

Cozy Country Cabin

I am originally from the area and wanted to “go home” for a few days. The cabin was clean and had plenty of dishes, kitchen utensils, towels, linens, etc. for my family’s 5 night stay. I loved drinking my morning coffee on the front porch and watching the birds and deer in the yard. My husband and daughter had a blast fishing the pond, catch and release of course. We felt just at home and will absolutely rent this cabin again. The owners responded quickly to any questions I had but also gave us our space as well. Truly a wonderful stay in a very beautiful area of the country! Thank you for having us.

Quaint Cabin

We were in town for a quick overnight for our daughter's horse show at Alfred State. The cabin was clean and cozy and met our needs for the night. I'm sure the porch is a beautiful spot to sit in warmer weather. I must have missed that you need to bring your own toilet paper as there was only a half a roll that with 5 people didn't last our entire stay but other than that it was perfect.

Great place to relax

We had a great stay, beautiful views, lots of wildlife. House had everything we needed. It was a nice place to warm up by the fireplace and relax. We plan on returning next year.

Excellent getaway from the noise. It is a log house and decorated that way.

2nd time there, It is fairly remote / private if that's what you're looking for. We love it. Just like the pictures. we'd come again.

Beautiful Property!

It was a great place to get away and relax! We enjoyed seeing deer on the property every day and fishing in the pond. Also, close enough to Watkins Glen and Letchworth State Park for a day trip. Thanks again Richie and Shannon!

Very private and cozy

Great location and access to Andover and Alfred. Only one bathroom so plan accordingly. Bed was comfortable and kitchen was cute. Pond and outside nature scenes were the best part of this rustic cabin. Thanks!

Amazing!!

I had rented out the cabin with my fiance for a few days for Valentine’s Day and she absolutely loved it! We both did! It was kind of tricky finding the driveway but the owners came to save the day in seconds!! The scenery is beautiful, quiet and peaceful! We’ll definitely be booking again, thank you so much!!
