Spacious Rustic Whistler Retreat at the Woods

With that, please contact us for any special circumstances. In addition, our cleaners are following the CDC guidelines for short-term rental cleaning. Bring your bikes and swimsuits, Whistler is amazing in the summer and Lost Lake, with its beach and hiking/biking trails, is just a short walk away.

Everything you want in a Whistler Vacation for all Seasons! Two spacious bedrooms and two full beautifully renovated bathrooms with a full stainless steel kitchen, ensuite washer/dryer, dish washer, cable TV, wifi, barbeque, wood burning fireplace, and communal hot tub. One bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds. There is a top-quality Italian sofa-bed that sleeps two, and two baby cribs are also available. One bathroom has a full double shower, and the other bathroom has a bathtub and shower. Relax with a book and coffee on your serene private tree views from the peaceful window seat. Play Station and board games available for rainy days. Ample storage for skis in the unit in the front hallway. The townhouse is on the ground level with no stairs to climb with tired ski or biking legs after a long day! One FREE reserved parking space, with additional visitor parking available on a first come first serve basis for another vehicle.

The location in the Benchlands in the Upper Village is perfect for easily getting to all the excitement of Whistler Village, while still having a peaceful retreat to come back to. Perfect for families. There is a free Whistler village shuttle stop right outside the complex, which runs every 15 minutes. The shuttle will get you to the village in only 2-3 minutes or walk to the Upper Village in only 7 minutes. Easily walk to golfing, bike ride on the "Valley Trail", or walk only 9 minutes to Lost Lake for swimming in the summer. In the Winter, this townhouse is only 700 metres to the base of Blackcomb and ski lifts. You can ski home on the "Ski Home trail" which will exit across the street from the complex. Also, cross country ski on all of the trails around Lost Lake, or Ice skate on Lost Lake and get a hot chocolate at the Lost Lake cabin in the Winter.

Great stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this condo. It was the perfect size and layout for my husband, me, and our two sons. The beds and bedding are SO comfortable that we were remarking that we wanted to duplicate them at home. We also enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. The check-in and check-out process were easy and Steve was responsive to any questions that came up during our stay.

We like the location of the Woods. The condo is excellent, one level, comfortably furnished, really like the shower in the main bed room. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely cozy place, very short walk to the bus stop

Excellent, Steve was always easy to reach for any situation presented, the place is cozy, well equipped with everything, and the floor was heated which was a plus, as we got hit with very low temperatures.

Great place to enjoy all that Whistler has to offer

We had a great time in Steven’s place. Everything you need, comfortable beds, close to everything, yet in a quiet part of Whistler. And Steven responded quickly to all our questions. We would go back anytime.

Charming stay at The Woods

We had a wonderful first visit to Whistler! Steve was an excellent host. The unit was appointed well. A bottle of wine and cookies upon arrival were a great extra touch. We will be back!

Winter ski trip

Even better than the photos!

Ive stayed up in Whistler countless times with Airbnb and VRBO. However what struck me about Steve’s place is the quality. The beds were super comfy, the pillows were heavenly, a well stocked kitchen and even one of those fancy curved TVs! Steve’s place is done really well, a very relaxing place to stay with all the corners polished. Great communication and beautiful location. We all very much enjoyed the stay and hope to make it back.

Very nicely appointed 2 BDRM condo close to town

This is a very nice unit, close to town with the convenience of the free-Whistler bus service. You can jump on the bus & be at the hill in a few stops. Its also close enough to town that we enjoyed walking in in the evenings. Steve was very responsive to any questions we had. The kitchen was well equipped & living room had a wood fireplace which we really enjoyed a lot.

Steve’s condo at the woods is very accessible to everything with the free shuttle steps away! The condo has everything you need. It was perfect for our party of 5. The hot tub was an added bonus! Steve was very helpful with all his suggestions. Would love to see gorgeous Whistler in the summer. Thanks Steve for making our stay a pleasant one! 2/11/19

Woods rental

Overall the place was nice. Had everything we needed. We asked for early check in, and were told no problem fir 2:00. However at 2:15 the cleaning lady arrived and told us we had to wait till 4:00. There was no dish soap. The comforters on the bed were too heavy for Summer, but the beds were comfortable. Overall we had a good stay and would go there again.

Perfect location, interior design & exterior view!

Our stay was perfect! We really enjoyed the Canadian woods interior design, the floor plan of the condo and the ideal location in the upper village. The place was very comfortable and quickly felt like a home away from home. I really love the cushioned window seat with the large windows giving way to a view of the woods. Truly beautiful and I can only imagine how incredible the view would be with snow dusting the trees. Making the reservation was easy and straightforward. As was communicating with the owner prior to and upon check-in. I would highly recommend staying here for families and couples. Our family hopes to return again. Five star recommendation across the board!

Enjoyable Stay in Blackcomb Despite Lack of Snow

This was our first time in Whistler Blackcomb. My daughter and I enjoyed discovering the area despite the lack of snow (only 1/3 of trails open), thanks to El Niño. We echo the positive comments made by other renters about the location, floor plan, well equipped kitchen, and coziness of Steve’s cabin. We also enjoyed using the fireplace, outdoor grill on the terrace and the community hot tub. Thanks to Steve and previous renters, there is a good supply of spices, condiments and other non perishable ingredients in the kitchen. We added a few in the spirit of passing it forward. We intend to comeback when the snow conditions are better and during the summer.

We are a family of four, with two boys under the age of ten who love all that Whistler has to offer year-round such as skiing, mountain biking, swimming, kayaking, and hiking.

We purchased this property because it is uniquely situated and provides and ease of access to Whistler Village in one direction, Lost Lake in the other, and the hundreds of biking and hiking trails that start right outside the complex. With all these benefits, it retains a feeling of being remotely situated in the woods, and hence the complex name of "The Woods".

We not only wanted to provide a place for our guests to lay their heads while they pursue the many year-round activities in Whistler, we wanted to give our guests a uniquely Canadian experience that both our Canadian guests, and our guests that are visitors to Canada have come to love. It's a modern place with a rustic feel, the type feel that I experienced at various cabins/camps growing up as a child and we are happy to share this experience with you!
