Get ready for the Caribbean dream vacation of your life! Directly on the sand, this ground floor, beachfront beauty is surrounded by turquoise ocean all around and is an extra-special deluxe unit! It’s located at the tip of Rum Point, Cayman Islands, and offers spectacular ocean views and immediate beach access from your 40 foot screened beachfront porch just off the living room and master bedroom!

Our appraisal said it was the best unit at The Retreat due to beaches on both sides, views from all living areas, ground floor unit, literally a few steps from the sand. (Most other units have partial views and are not ground level beach access and are attached or above other condos - this one's location and cleanliness is extra special!)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Retreat 23. Communication with the owner was easy and timely. The convenience of staying on the North side of the island turned out to be a great experience. The North side of the island is a much more quaint and quiet experience as opposed to the busier part of the island with more tourists. We were near the wonderful attractions of the island like star fish bay, the crystal caves and exceptional snorkeling. The views out of the condominium were breathtakingly beautiful and the condo had everything we needed for a comfortable similar to home type of place. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the screened in porch daily. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at this property and if we visit Grand Cayman again we would rebook this condo in a heartbeat.

What a magical 10 days it was... we left a little to explore nearby but honestly relaxed on this beautiful beach just steps from our back door! We realized how relaxing beach life could be from this incredible spot especially when just steps away!! Loved it. Will likely return.

Great location, if it doesn’t rain. It rained day 3 of our trip & the water turned brown for the remainder of the week, making snorkeling impossible. We drove to 7 mile everyday -45 min away. Hardly the fault of the owner but did impact our vaca. Furniture could use updating. Outdoor lounge chair rusted out during our trip. Location is not private as the walkway to the beach is in front of the sliding doors.Kitchen has no spices. Bring some if you plan to cook.

Perfect from start to finish! The house was in excellent condition, was sparkling clean and the location is stunning! The hosts were super responsive to any questions and we felt 100% at home the entire time! Highly recommend!

We have traveled to many places around the world and this is hands down our favorite location and rental property. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and offered breathtaking views and luxurious relaxation. The owners were responsive, informative, and offered everything we needed to have a relaxing and unforgettable week. We will definitely be repeat guests and cannot recommend this property to you highly enough, whether you are traveling as a couple or a family! While this was a couples trip for us, we can’t wait to bring our kids next time to enjoy the safe, calm and shallow waters full of sea life at Rum Point!With private beaches that offer both sun and shade, a wonderful beach bar and restaurant (where mudslides were invented and fresh cuisine awaits) mere steps away from the property, it made for the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. We took several excursions right from the Rum Point Dock to swim with stingrays, snorkel at the Cayman Barrier Reef, and explore the majestic bioluminescent bay by kayak underneath the stars. We hiked the mile and a half to Starfish Point from the property and felt incredibly safe on the island to walk, run, and explore. We caught an inexpensive water taxi to Caymana Bay from Kaibo Beach where a beautiful town full of local shops, scenes, and restaurants awaited. A five star review does not do this property justice - book it and we promise you will not regret or forget it, as it is a true bucket list adventure!

The views were amazing, the condo is beautiful and grounds were clean and well kept. We could walk out the door and paddle board, kayak, swim and snorkel. If you are fishing on your own, download the cayman department of environment’s app for up to date marine laws. The condo is located on shore of a Marine Reserve. There are also lots of fishing excursions.The pool was clean and refreshing after a day in the sun. No ocean view from the pool so we didn’t lounge there but that is not our families style. In short, you can’t beat the location in rum point. And the condo was perfect for our family vacation. The ocean views, sunsets, and relation to other must visit spots was ideal. We would definitely come back.

Rum Point Getaway

The condo location is fabulous, just steps from your own beach. The area is very quiet. It's perfect if you just want to relax and enjoy the ocean.

Fantastic Location!

The location of Retreat 23 is fantastic! Our family enjoyed the resort's private beach every day and snorkeled right there in the small bay. We enjoyed Rum Point beach bar and restaurant just steps away and loved that it was not crowded! The apartment was clean and quite nice, perfect for our family of four. The host was extremely responsive and sent lots of details about what to bring and things to do. This was an unforgettable vacation for us and I would definitely book Retreat 23 again!

Fantastic Rum Point Vacation!

Fantastic view, quiet location, great beach access to rum, plenty of room. Katrina and Matt were super responsive from providing great pre-trip information along with helping us with a couple of things while we were there. Favorite feature was the screened in lanai, I sat there every morning reading my book, enjoying the view and the breeze. The place is well stocked with everything from beach towels to kitchen basics and lots of snorkel and beach stuff. We had a wonderful trip and this place was a perfect fit!

Perfect Beach Vacation

A beautiful quiet beach just steps from the condo door. No crowds, no stress, no problems. Clear clean water with reefs and tons of marine life to enjoy while snorkeling. We plan to return!

First time, great time!

Quiet beach relaxation only feet from the door. Fun options for dining and activities nearby. The host’s emailed recommendations were fantastic, especially as it pertains to viewing sea life while snorkeling. The property was extremely clean, and inviting. With laundry available, I was way over packed. Is a bit of a drive from George Town and the airport, but worth it. Looking forward to going back again.

Love rum point for snorkeling

The weather was really windy this year which is due to going in November I believe. Since we go primarily to drift snorkel from the retreat we won’t go back in November, but the weather certainly isn’t the condo’s fault! We will be back next year in January hopefully!

Thanksgiving Week 2019

Amazing condo. We loved everything about it. The size was perfect for the 4 of us - 2 adults and 2 teens. It had everything we needed and more. The location was amazing. Katrina was wonderful and so responsive. I would highly recommend this property and would love to go back again!

Perfectly Peaceful

Our family enjoyed a beautiful week at Retreat at Rum Point. The condo has everything you need and we love the peace of this part of the island. Dinners at Kaibo and Upstairs were incredible and frozen drinks from Rum Point or the blender in the kitchen were delicious. We loved being able to snorkel right out the screen door! We will book again!

Rum Point is off the beaten path and offers breathtaking water all around. This unit's location is exquisite and beach views on two sides. Just open the door and you're at the beach! Our guests come back year after year and book early because we fill up! The best location in Grand Cayman. NO CRUISE SHIP VIEWS EVER IN RUM POINT! It's quiet, remote and dreamy! Not your touristy destination! Excursions leave right from the dock. Stingray city, sunset, cruises, snorkeling tours,etc.
