Looking for a peaceful getaway in the heart of Texas Hill Country? Come relax, unwind, and enjoy the simple pleasures of ranch life at JK Ranch’s Cabin #2!

Nestled on 18 beautiful acres, our ranch offers plenty of wildlife, adorable miniature Hereford cattle, wide-open spaces, and the peace and quiet of country living. We’re located in the heart of Texas Wine Country, just 15 minutes from charming downtown Fredericksburg where you’ll find wineries, shopping, restaurants, and plenty of small-town charm! We are only 5 minutes away from Kerrville too!

Cabin #2 is perfect for a cozy getaway for two and includes:

* Comfortable queen-size bed
* Private full bathroom
* Mini refrigerator
* Microwave
* Coffee maker

Our property is completely fenced and includes a separate fenced area for your four-legged friends, so bring your pups along!

Spend your evenings relaxing around the shared outdoor firepit, soaking up the peaceful country atmosphere, and stargazing under the beautiful Texas sky. With no city lights to get in the way, the stars are truly something special!

A Little Ranch Life to Keep in Mind:

JK Ranch is a working ranch, so don’t be surprised if you find our miniature Hereford cattle wandering nearby! They’re part of the charm and help make your stay a true Texas ranch experience.

We also believe in unplugging and enjoying the moment, so there is no WiFi or TV. Trade your screen time for fresh air, beautiful sunsets, and a little peace and quiet.

Was good for a short stay. too small for more than 2or3 nights. Was very quiet which was good. Sorry that was no shampoo , ice or coffee creamer.

Great little getaway. Close to everything in the city, but far away enough for peace, rest and relaxation. Cozy little cabin, beats any hotel price, comfort and atmosphere.

Great place, great fire pit and amenities. I would suggest a big light outside on the porch. If the pool was available to guests, I wasn’t aware of that. It rained on the first night, which we really enjoyed.

Quiet getaway from people and fireworks on a 4th July weekend.

Quiet locations to take my dog who is afraid of fireworks. Three other cabins were rented as well but all guest were respectful. Very nice fenced area for my dog to roam and play. Great location and the host was very friendly.

Amazing place

We loved staying on the ranch. The whole atmosphere is amazing!!! Host are very nice and always quick to reply if you need to reach out. We will most definitely recommended this place, and can’t wait to go back for our next visit

It was very peaceful! It was quiet, clean, and to be honest, we never saw another human…only 3 cows! We will certainly stay here again!

We love sitting out by the firepit enjoying the beautiful starry skies away from the city lights. Our daughter, Kelli, manages the rentals. She and her husband moved here to get away from city life and are enjoying the country. We have multiple cabins on our property and would love to host you!
