Charming Apt. in Historic District

This is a cute, quiet, clean 600sq ft apt. in a safe walking, trendy neighborhood filled with restored historic homes and within walking distance to great restaurants, shopping, entertainment venues and fabulous Bayshore Boulevard.

The apartment has hardwood floors, its own washer/dryer, a fully-equipped kitchen, two ceiling fans, two mini-split air conditioning/heating units, cable, Wi-Fi and its own dedicated off-street parking. It is on the second floor of a quiet 4-plex.

There is a covered front porch/laundry room area for the exclusive use of guests in this unit. It also includes a family room, kitchen, small dining table with two chairs, a hallway with a storage cabinet, a bedroom with a dresser, bedside tables and a closet, and a full bathroom which includes a combination shower/tub.

All guests staying in all four units of the quad-plex have shared use of the concrete table/benches in the front yard of the property.

Entry to the premises is via a digital keyless entry system. Prior to check-in, I will provide each renter with their own unique entry code, which will only be valid during the length of their stay. I will always be available via cell phone/email for any inquiries that guests may have. I also live within 5 minutes of the property and will be available in-person on most occasions. I love to help visitors make the most of their stay in Tampa!

Convenient and easy

This place is a gem! It was easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go. The neighborhood was charming and very walkable. I would definitely stay here if I’m in Tampa again.

Beautiful area

We enjoyed our 8 days at the Hyde Park apartment. We enjoyed walking around the area and being so close to Hyde Park Village. We had everything we needed in the unit. It was well supplied and clean!

Great stay!

We were able to use the electric scooters to the Hyde Park Village and to South Howard. The place was clean and very safe neighborhood - we were even greeted by a friendly neighborhood cat. Bathroom is a bit small, however it does the job!

Great location

We stayed for 3 months. Close to SoHo and downtown but low key peaceful. Apartment was historic yet modern. Very comfortable and clean. Responsive and easy to work with host. Bayshore walk on river super close and fantastic.

Great place, great owner!

This is a great property in the Hyde Park area. Works well for one or two people. Very comfortable and cozy! Jennifer is great to work with, and will respond immediately if you have any problems.

Charming, Dated, Excellent Location

Very well appointed with everything you need. A/C and bed comfort excellent. Great communication with the host. Attention to detail top notch. Location cannot be beat. Off-street parking is a major plus in this area. This is an older property with original bathroom fixtures. Bath tub/shower is narrow and does not have grab bars so not the best for older or people with stability issues. Toilet is very low profile so some may difficulty with that. All-in-all a great value. I would stay here again for sure!

Great stay

This was perfect for our stay in Tampa. It’s a older apartment but it’s very clean and decorated beautifully. If I had one complaint it would be that there was no tv in the bedroom. I’m one of those people that need tv noise to sleep but my iPad worked just fine for that. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in South Tampa.

Only complaint was bathroom experience. My husband slipped twice in shower and toilet was the shortest we have ever seen. Made it hard on older folks.

Excellent attention to detail and Clean

This apartment presented exactly as it was listed. The building was anfotable and I fell in love the the old architecture. The host left nutrigrain bars and bottled water for us and I cannot express how much that saved us on our first morning there. We were running out the door to my daughter's competition and had no time to stop for food. The toilet paper rose was adorable and my daughter can't stop talking about it and the stay in general. Communication with the host was excellent and she provided so much information about nearby restaurants and attractions. The apartment was old and showed its age but man was it adorable. It was clean, smelled nice, and had so much character. If we come back to the area, I will most definitely reach out to stay here over and over again. Thank you for allowing us to stay in this charming little apartment. Kudos to the host for the phenomenal care and attention to the rental.

Sweet Place

The apartment is very nice and is located in a great neighborhood and it more than satisfied my needs. It afforded me easy access for work and play. I would highly recommend this unit and I hope to return soon.

Bezaubernde Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage

Angefangen mit der perfekten Kommunikation bereits im Vorfeld, hat uns hier alles gefallen. Die Unterkunft ist hochwertig eingerichtet und hält alles bereit, um einen entspannten Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Wir wurden mit ein paar Flaschen Wasser begrüßt und haben uns auf Anhieb wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist sehr gut, und trotzdem kein Lärm. Ein wahrer Glücksgriff!

Very Charming

This property lives up to the description. It is in an absolutely beautiful neighborhood and the yard is like a little oasis. The apartment is comfortable and I got an excellent night of sleep which isn’t easy. The location is key as it is close to a vibrant shopping and dining area and you can easily acces the fitness trail .this was a work trip for me but I would definitely come back. The host was responsive and gave clear instructions.

Great spot in the perfect location!

This little apartment was in such a great location, with easy access to Bayshore Boulevard, downtown Tampa, and Hyde Park Village. It was also an easy trip to St Pete and the beaches along the Gulf, where we enjoyed some great beer, Cuban food, and a couple of sunsets. We walked a few minutes for some great coffee at The Blind Tiger, had the best tacos at Taco Dirty, and indulged in ice cream at Oddfellows ($$) in Hyde Park Village by the fountain one night (great atmosphere). If you’re a VFW member, there’s an active post a few blocks away with cheap beer and drinks daily from 1-7. The host was quick to respond to questions and checking in was super easy, and we had a comfortable stay. We’d definitely stay here again!

Tampa - Hyde Park

My wife and I had a marvelous time bicycling, walking, dining and exploring the local and surrounding areas. Jennifer the host was very responsive to any questions or needs. My only suggestion would be a chair in the living room to sit in.

My third stay here.

Property is a sweet Art Deco kind of place. Needs updating though. Sofa was not clean. You could see the grease marks of the people that had sat in it over years. Very clean and nicely equipped. Lovely owners.

Lovely Apartment

Loved everything about this rental. Perfect location in Hyde Park. I was visiting my sons, 1 in Ruskin and 1 in Odessa and it was a short drive to both. I’ll be returning soon and will definitely stay here again.

I am a stay-at-home mom with four wonderful kids (a 10 y/o daughter, 13 y/o son and two grown stepdaughters). I have a graphic design business and enjoy making yearbook/dedication ads for graduating seniors. I am very happy to own this charming property, which is in such a perfect location! I love being a Superhost and look forward to helping make your visit to Tampa a fantastic one!

It is a cute home in the middle of Historic Hyde Park - a safe, walking, tree-lined neighborhood filled with all kinds of restaurants/bars, cafes, shops, parks, and a movie theater. It is just one-two miles away from downtown (Channelside, the Tampa Convention Center and Amalie Arena) and within 10-15 minutes to MacDill AFB, Westshore Business District, Ybor City, and the Airport. It is only a few blocks from Bayshore Boulevard, which has 4 miles of continuous waterfront sidewalk.
