This was one of the most special rental places I’ve ever stayed in. The photos do not do the apartment justice! It’s spacious without being overwhelming, cozy, and modestly luxurious. Views from the city-facing views are stunning. On a first-time trip to Lisbon, it seems like the building is in a quieter part of town but a short walk or trip on public transport puts you in busier areas with sites, restaurants, etc. Plus, it’s right across the street from a great park. And I can’t say enough kind things about the host. Communicative, accommodating, reasonable in expectations, and readily available if we had any questions. Thought of everything a guest might need to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I will absolutely be recommending this property to all of my friends who are considering a Lisbon trip in the future.

Our stay at Marco's was like being in our own home. Clean, spacious, comfortable, beautiful view of Lisbon clear across the river. A lovely park just below the balcony for families with children. Bedrooms were spacious and plenty of closet space for 2 persons per room. Kitchen very modern with huge windows that open to a clothes. Oh yes Washer, Dryer and outside line. The biggest feature compared to Porto was the "ELEVATOR" to 4th floor. What a relief! Neighbour offered 2 grocery stores and a number of restaurants. We clocked the walk to Rossi Square to be about 15 minutes....all downhill. Coming home it was quite a hike but everywhere in Lisbon it was a "hike" compared to Porto. If I ever went back to Lisbon, I'd "WHATAPP" Marco's immediately.Cynthia

Wonderful apartment, very roomy and charming with fantastic views. A nice location, just 15 min walk to many of the sights in a quieter neighborhood by a park. Excellent grocery store on the same block. We had a great stay, would definitely stay again!

Marcos and Maria’s apartment was absolutely beautiful. We had a gorgeous view of Alfama, the castle and the river from nearly every window in the apartment. Everything was so clean and considerately staged for us. We could walk to and from Alfama and Baixa. There were lovely restaurants and a market nearby. We were so happy here!
