In the heart of the arty district of Cours Julien, with a big terrace and an amazing panoramic view of Marseille city centre (the Old Port, Notre Dame de la Garde basilica, the Blue Coast...) and breathtaking sunsets.

Come and enjoy this beautifully renovated apartment in the centre of the city and its 15m² terrace with incredible views. Perfectly located for discovering the markets, local designer boutiques, cafés, bars and restaurants of this arty district and yet only 10 minutes on foot from the famous Vieux Port.

Entire apartment: 40m² with sofa bed and sofa in open living space and 15m² south and west facing terrace. Fourth and last floor (no lift). Completely renovated with air-conditioning and double glazing.

2 minute walk to metros and trams (2 stops to main train station by metro, 3 stops to stadium). 1 minute to underground public car park.

Tolle Wohnung mit fantastischer Aussicht

Die Ferienwohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum Kochen und Wohlfühlen braucht. Das Highlight ist natürlich die Terrasse. Obwohl es Mitte August war, konnte man es bis ca. 14 Uhr dort draußen aushalten und die fantastische Aussicht genießen. Für die Zeit bis zum Sonnenuntergang gibt es eine Klimaanlage. Die Gastgeberin Joanne ist ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und für Fragen jederzeit ansprechbar.

Sehr gute Lage für einen Stadtaufenthalt

Die Fewo liegt mitten im Künstler/ Gaststättenviertel… am Platz kann man in verschiedenen Restaurants essen mit internationaler Küche. Fewo ist sehr für junge aufgeschlossene Leute geeignet. Man sollte gegen die verschiedenen Gerüche und Hausbemalungen offen sein. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und ist gern für jeden Tip bereit. Die Fewo liegt im Obergeschoss,dies sollte unbedingt bei der Gepäckauswahl beachtet werden. Der Blick vom Balkon über die Altstadt ist traumhaft.

Appartement très agréable et vue imprenable sur Marseille depuis la terrasse.

A recommander pour un séjour à Marseille. L’appartement, la vue, le quartier, la proximité pour les activités. Tout était parfait. On en oublie les 4 étages à monter à pieds! Sans oublier la disponibilité de Joanne.

Amazing view with everything you need.

What an amazing view of the city, the old port and Notre Dame de la Garde! And what a perfect way to end the day on the balcony enjoying wine and cheese with a view. The photos show exactly what you get. The stairs to the apartment ensured our food and wine consumption was guilt free. The apartment itself is nicely appointed, thoughtfully equipped and comfortable for two with a fair amount of room. The bed is comfortable and everything worked as expected. Joanne’s little book of what to see and do was worth reading. We loved the walk through little Morocco! We were a little surprised by the graffiti at the train station and in the square. But once we realized it was the quartier des créateurs, the “art” made a lot of sense. The neighbourhood a bit Bohemian and certainly care free!

Great view, great location, great host: what more could you want?

We came to Marseille for over a week, for a conference, and wanted easy access to Parc Chanot for work but also to stay near the Vieux Port for everything else. We found the perfect combination, a short walk to the harbor and a stone’s throw from Metro station Notre Dame de Mont. This flat is exactly as described in the listing, except the photos do not fully capture the panoramic view of the heart of Marseille from the terrace. The view was always different, according to the light, and sunsets directly over the inner harbor were spectacular. The apartment had everything we needed, and host Joanne could not have been more friendly and accommodating. The scramble out a window to the terrace seemed a bit odd in anticipation but completely normal in context, and the access integrates effectively with the interior. Cours Julien is lively, day and night, and we enjoyed the energy of young adults embracing life in the cafes and markets that fill the long pedestrian space. On the other hand, we were glad to be four floors above it all (three in the metric system), and appreciated that the flat has good windows to seal out the noise when we wanted quiet. (Air conditioning makes closing up possible in September, though we enjoyed the breeze during the day.) We are semi-fit in our semi-60s, so for us the walk up was welcome after indulging in Provençal cuisine. But it might be a consideration for anyone less ambulatory. Internet was flawless (this was a work trip), and our only regret is that we could not stay longer to enjoy this perch above old Marseille. Thank you, Joanne!

Very comfortable stay.

Lovely apartment with fabulous views. We had 4 days in Marseille and this was a great base - near some excellent cafes and restaurants. Joanne met us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed , including a welcome bottle of wine!! Would definitely recommend.

Ein großartiger Platz zum Erleben und zum Genießen

Die Lage ist unschlagbar. Ein toller Blick auf die Stadt und den Hafen. Man ist in ein paar Minuten im Zentrum des Geschehens. Es ist in der Wohnung alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Joanne, die Vermieterin, ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt.

Séjour extraordinaire et inoubliable

Très bon accueil de la propriétaire très agréable et chaleureuse nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire dans ce jolie appartement bien situé et agencé cet endroit au calme on y apprécie la vue extraordinaire sur la ville et le vieux port et notre dame de la garde et la mer d un bleu d azur quartier animé et convivial Marseille nous invite a découvrir les incontournables et lieux insolites et culturels. Appartement et vue remarquables

L'appartement est très bien situé, au coeur des Cours Julien avec sa vie trépidante, à deux pas des terrasses, restos et petits marchés de quartier. Très propre, très bien équipé et très confortable, on y apprécie la vue extraordinaire sur la ville, le vieux-port et la Mer Méditerranée depuis la magnifique terrasse de l'appartement. Coup de coeur assuré!

Besser geht es nicht!

Man braucht nicht viele Worte: es gibt keinen besseren Ort in Marseille, als diesen. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit. Die Wohnung ist eine Oase mitten in der Stadt ... der Ausblick ist unbeschreiblich. Es fehlte an nichts. Joanne ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Parfait

Superbe appartement dans un quartier vivant, avec plein de choses à découvrir à 2 pas. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié : - le lieu ("Cours Ju", quartier de bars, restaurants branchés, créatrices (mode, bijoux...), marché populaire et marché bio) - l'appartement, sa vue (sans faire le Marseillais, la plus belle de Marseille...), sa décoration, son insonorisation (important...) - l'accueil et les conseils de Jo - la proximité du métro (100m) - la place arborée et piétonne en bas, idéale pour laisser jouer les enfants en sirotant son pastis Nous recommandons chaudement
