We invite you to spend some time in our charming one-bedroom barn apartment and let us spoil you with some down-home southern hospitality. Our location is the perfect setting for a getaway from busy-ness and noise. We are situated on 25 acres of rolling pasture and wooded areas framed in white fencing, all surrounded by the Cumberland Mountains. Motorcyclists, hikers, kayakers, or just dreamers in search of some solitude -- all are welcome here. Enjoy the surrounding state parks, scenic trails, waterfalls, etc., then come back "home" to peace and serenity, where green pastures and soft breezes beneath 100-year-old shade trees await you!

This is a beautiful spot to getaway and relax!Clean welcoming and beautiful!!There were storms and snow while we were there and Joy allowed us to park our vehicle in the barn.We will definitely stay again.

Our stay was amazing! It was very unique being part of a horse barn with all the beautiful views of the pastures. Our dogs loved to be able to roam free. We will definitely try to stay here again!!

Feels like home

I really felt at home and enjoyed staying here. The decorations are fun and upbeat. It was spotless and the hosts were wonderful people! I would definitely stay here again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming getaway in the country! The home waa spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials, and the thoughtful touches throughout the space made it warm and welcoming. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to our next visit.

We were about 10 miles from a Walmart there was a Dollar General about 4 miles away. We enjoyed the piece and quiet. The property was very beautiful the rental had everything we needed for our stay.

Joy came and welcomed us when we arrived made sure we had everything we needed which we did.Everything and anything you would need has been provided inside the charming cottage in the barn. Easy access In-N-Out wonderful time. We will definitely return and we will definitely recommend to friends in the future. Thank you, Joy.

Beautiful area

Enjoyed our quick trip to Sparta to see relative. This was a perfect spot to relax and visit family in the area. Joy was a gracious hostess. We will be back.

Tranquil spot

This place was perfect. The views are gorgeous and the accommodations are adorable. I wish we had more time to stay there and actually enjoy the place. The owners are absolutely wonderful and were very responsive. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in town.

Nice place to rest our heads while discovering East TN

Beautiful property! We enjoyed our stay over the weekend, very clean, and comfortable. My husband was very pleased with a comfortable bed for once in a rental. Joy was a Joy! We would definitely book again!

If you are looking for peace and quiet

Three little letters WOW! This was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from it all. My wife and I can't wait to go again.

Great location but even better accommodations

Honestly I was a little apprehensive about the apartment but I was pleasantly surprised. It was great and my husband and I loved our stay there. We spent two nights and drove to several waterfalls. It was so nice to come home to that apartment after and just relax.

It was a perfect getaway!!! The property is breathtakingly beautiful. Joy and David are amazing hosts. We stay there 5 nights and 4 days. Part of the barn was converted into a small, quaint apartment with all the comforts of home and located about 10 miles from town. The small town of Sparta was fabulous with great shops and restaurants. Several parks and waterfalls to keep us covered in nature. Will definitely stay there again.

As a native Tennessean, I've seen just about all of this grand state, and when my husband and I saw this property, we knew it was a very special place -- definitely the most beautiful area I have seen! Not only beautiful, it is a restful place to retreat to and unwind. You can almost feel the rich history of this 1800s farm and surrounding countryside pulling you back in time!
