Relaxing Lakefront Cottage with Beautiful Views- 4 Kayaks + KING SIZE BED!

This "Premier Hosted" cottage is the perfect VRBO location to allow you to feel like you are away from it all. We have recently added a brand new king size bed. You can swim, fish, kayak and enjoy the beautiful views on Clear Lake and Squaw Lake year round. If you want to relax, rest and enjoy your family and friends, this is the lake and vacation spot for you. This is not a party location. We are tucked into a quiet neighborhood with wonderful neighbors.

Clear Lake is connected to the "Chain of Lakes" to maximize your water experience. If you choose to venture into town, you are five minutes from downtown Oxford and also close to Lake Orion with many different types of restaurants. The new Legacy 925 sports center is only 11 minutes away. The Polly Anne Trail is close by with walking and biking trails. This home is 17 minutes from Pine Knob Ski Resort and DTE Energy Music Theater.
The peaceful surroundings are visited by numerous birds, swans and surprising hot air balloons in the summer months. Guests will have access to a full kitchen, use of washer and dryer, grill, fire pit, 4 kayaks, and life jackets. All bedding, towels and beach towels are provided. Coffee/tea and breakfast bars are provided. Guests describe the home saying that it is “cozy”, “quaint” and a “lovely place to relax.” Please note that this cottage has well water. The water is completely safe and we have many filtration systems and softeners, but it does have a slight smell. We also provide an extra water pitcher for added filtration and drinking water.

Wonderful place

We enjoyed the lakefront cottage. It was very clean and homey. It had everything we needed and was a great place to kick back at night.

Great house right on lake

Stayed for a quick weekend and really enjoyed the house. Well stocked with extra supplies and thoughtful touches throughout. Very easy to communicate with Colleen and really liked having the electronic entry app.

What a fabulous cottage in the perfect location! Thank you Colleen for being so patient and accommodating. My family had a fabulous time. The cottage has everything we could think of, including the canoes. One of the best vacation rentals we have experienced.

Family visit

It was a beautiful scenery. Loved the lake. So peaceful. Well stocked. I’m not Streaming savy on Tv so we struggled. Would like more comfy recliners felt small. Deck needs power washed and painted. Overall will stay again. Great place

Great location!

First time vacation rental experience. The process was incredibly easy. Our host, Colleen, was always quick to answer and take care of any question or concern I had. It was like having a friend or neighbor you could count on. We were able to truly enjoy our time with our family.

Beautiful view

This property is very clean, has comfortable sleeping arrangements 2 large bathrooms, and property owner has included all the necessities. Easy check out and booking. We visited in February for a girls weekend and it was perfect. Close to many restaurants and only about 20 minutes from Great Lakes Crossings. We thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace and the beautifully views. This would be a fun place to visit in the summer with the beachfront literally in the backyard. Thanks for a great stay!

wonderful cottage on lake with toys!

This is a super cute little cottage right on the lake with kayaks and a paddle boat, also fire pit and BBQ avail for guests use. Well appointed with most cooking utensils, ample sized kitchen. Great communication with host. Parking for 3 vehicles, quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend....we hope to come back

Total Relaxation!

We had such an amazing week at Colleen's home. Everything from the home, the view, the neighbors, the fishing, the lakes etc was more then perfect. We left Oxford totally relaxed and rejuvenated! The lakes were so clear and the fishing was the best fishing we had ever experienced. We caught over 60 bass! The lake house was in a great location and it was very clean, cozy and modern. Thank you Colleen for offering such a beautiful get-a-way to so many! Dave R Ohio

Memories Making Weekend

What a fun weekend! Carol was absolutely wonderful to work with. Immediate responses. We took our adult children for a short weekend trip. We visited Frankenmuth and The Great Lakes Outlets. The lake house was perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Did not need anything extra, Carol thought of everything! Would definitely return to Carols property! Thanks for a great weekend Carol!
