This "Premier Hosted" cottage is the perfect VRBO location to allow you to feel like you are away from it all. We have recently added a brand new king size bed. You can swim, fish, kayak and enjoy the beautiful views on Clear Lake and Squaw Lake year round. If you want to relax, rest and enjoy your family and friends, this is the lake and vacation spot for you. This is not a party location. We are tucked into a quiet neighborhood with wonderful neighbors.

Clear Lake is connected to the "Chain of Lakes" to maximize your water experience. If you choose to venture into town, you are five minutes from downtown Oxford and also close to Lake Orion with many different types of restaurants. The new Legacy 925 sports center is only 11 minutes away. The Polly Anne Trail is close by with walking and biking trails. This home is 17 minutes from Pine Knob Ski Resort and DTE Energy Music Theater.
The peaceful surroundings are visited by numerous birds, swans and surprising hot air balloons in the summer months. Guests will have access to a full kitchen, use of washer and dryer, grill, fire pit, 4 kayaks, and life jackets. All bedding, towels and beach towels are provided. Coffee/tea and breakfast bars are provided. Guests describe the home saying that it is “cozy”, “quaint” and a “lovely place to relax.” Please note that this cottage has well water. The water is completely safe and we have many filtration systems and softeners, but it does have a slight smell. We also provide an extra water pitcher for added filtration and drinking water.

Family visit

It was a beautiful scenery. Loved the lake. So peaceful. Well stocked. I’m not Streaming savy on Tv so we struggled. Would like more comfy recliners felt small. Deck needs power washed and painted. Overall will stay again. Great place

A quick getaway

Stayed here for 2 days. Was a beautiful location. We will be returning this summer to enjoy the lake. Host was super responsive, even late new years eve.

This is the cutest place ever on thr lake and feels just like home. Colleen was beyond accomodating and was so so pleasant to work with. She allowed us to check in a day early and was so reaponsive anytime i reavhed out to her. When we visit MI again I will never consider staying anywhere else. Exceptional service all the way around.

Great location!

First time vacation rental experience. The process was incredibly easy. Our host, Colleen, was always quick to answer and take care of any question or concern I had. It was like having a friend or neighbor you could count on. We were able to truly enjoy our time with our family.

Absolutely awesome place w THE BEST HOST ON THE PLANET!

Our plane landed in Michigan from Pa and we were informed our vrbo home had plumbing issues n our reservation was cancelled by the owner!!! WOW! What now! We came across this property and reached out for help. Colleen had her sons birthday party going on n cut it short in order to accommodate n save the day for my wife n I. Who does this for others? The world needs more Colleen’s. Super clean, great neighbors!! Top notch stay with top notch owners!!!!!

Relaxing by the lake

Colleen was a great host. The cottage was super comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful location and neighborhood surrounded by lakes. Neighbors were very friendly and helpful. My 4 year old loved fishing off the dock and playing with the games. I really appreciated all the thoughtful touches from bath supplies to snacks and coffee. Kitchen was fully stocked. Highly recommend and would love to return.

This Lakefront home is a hit! Great floor plan & location!

I could not have been more impressed with this property, the comfort of the beds, the pressure of the hot showers, the cleanliness, and the incredible hospitality from Colleen. I stayed with my husband, mother-in-law, and 11-year old son. It was perfect!

Quiet and relaxing

Property manager was very helpful. Very comfortable home. Kitchen fully stocked. Loved the gas fireplace. Can imagine returning in the summer to enjoy the lake close up. Conveniently close to restaurants and stores. Enjoyed our stay.

Serenity by the Lake

We come every year to Oxford to visit with friends and family for a Thanksgiving and Christmas celebration. Colleen was amazing and the accommodations were perfect. Clean, all the appliances you need, and all functioning as advertised. Free WiFi and a toothbrush, toothpaste, washing machine detergent, and all the other attention to detail we all hope for, but Colleen delivers. Five + stars from us. We will return every year.

Fabulous experience at beautiful lake house

We had a wonderful time at this property. We have rented many VRBO properties and this was one of the best experiences we have had. The house is absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. The beds are very comfortable and the house is very well appointed. Colleen has anticipated every need any guest could have. The lake is very beautiful and clear and the kayaking was wonderful. We will definitely be back!

Lovely home on a beautiful lake

We had a great stay in this home. It was very comfortable and well equipped. The lake is beautiful and clear. The neighborhood is really nice and people are friendly. Colleen was super responsive and a pleasure to interact with. I loved that the home was stocked with things you typically use. We had beach towels, camp chairs, cooking supplies, etc. I’ve stayed in VRBO’s that didn’t have salt and pepper or dish soap or trash bags, etc. so it was really nice to be in a home that truly feels like a home.
